My notary was late
My notary was late. I had to call twice and ended up with someone who was scrambling to figure it out. She was kind and apologized but this is unprofessional

Much Different than an in-person visit
The notary herself was very friendly and professional and took time to contact me with details on something I needed to update. This was my first time doing notarized documents, and I think that it felt a little more complicated than it needed to be, and the tone a little more severe than I might have expected from an in-person meeting. That would be my preference next time, so that things can be done together and collaboratively and opposed to finding out that something needs to be changed 4 minutes after our meeting is supposed to start and getting stressed out about finding the correct information in time. It's not my cup of tea.
It is a convenient service though, and our experience with the Notary was pleasant enough.
