Northern Pwr Arvostelua 

Initially I was impressed with my contact with Northern Power, but now I'm struggling to get them to complete repairs to interior walls they mistakenly cut holes in. I'm also finding, now that my system is operational, that I was mislead, or ill-informed, about process and cost savings. When I contacted my sales person for clarification, he did not respond. I advise you to find a different company to get your solar panels from.

Everything. They lie they are over priced.They had sent a photo on where they were going to install the panels then they installed them on the other end of they house now I have to figure out how I am going to do the renos on that .end of the house. It took them 3 weeks to get approval to start the system after all was signed and inspected. They kept giving me excuses that fortis had changed the rules. I guess our system was the first system done after the changes. Right. I was told other lies. To many to get into. After 3 attempts to get someone out to talk to me more lies. When I told him to leave he slammed the door knocking pictures off the wall. If anyone is thinking of using them I would do my due diligence.

Very high pressure, several emails per day, but ten did not show up for planed meeting, no reason, no rescheduling and now don't even have the curtesy to respond to the emails.

Total scam. Stay far awat from these turds

They were supposed to pay for my post assessment but will not return calls. I now have to pay or I lose my grant. Real slimy. The company that did the evaluation has called for 6 months.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about Northern PWR. The whole process from the first call to having the system up and running took just two weeks! That’s insanely fast compared to what I was expecting.

I had been looking at solar for a while but still had some questions. Other companies only seemed willing to call me or do a virtual meeting, but Steven came to my home and explained the process and costs in an informative and non-pushy manner.

I liked the fact that they required no money up front and the price, although not the lowest I'd seen, was reasonable. I was completely blown away, however, by how quickly everything was installed. It was less than 3 weeks from the time I signed the contract to when their work crew showed up. It only took a day and they left everything neat and tidy behind themselves. I'm now waiting for the city to do their inspection and can't wait until I'm finally making my own power.

We had been thinking about solar for a while, and got one of the Northern PWR reps who came in person to our home. He did his presentation, explained everything clearly and did the solar design and cost. It was not the least expensive option, but I did not want to have to wait months for the government loans to get approved, and they took care of all the permitting and inspections without any deposit or efficiency testing required.
After doing the applications for approval, I got a call a few days later to book an installation appointment. The installation time was very fast and they did a very professional job, which only took a few hours to complete. My system is now operational and is working as expected. We hope to start seeing our credits build up during these summer months! We have had nothing but positive things to say, so far.

Jacob consulted with me and gave me a fair and objective case for home solar, I was able to understand why my power bills are so high and consider my options to hedge my household budget against future power price increases.

My sales rep came to the home for our scheduled consultation. The presentation was clean and professional. I was very pleased when they informed me that I was approved from the utility company. Panels were installed in 22 days and I passed inspection a week later. Excited to see these negative power bills start to roll in.

These guys are crooks that do not accurately represent what they are selling. They were not clear on any labour and material breakdowns, everything was determined off what I was consuming vs the actual costs of the panels, inverter, misc materials and labour. I did try to get some clarity around these costs and was told that if I paid in cash, the system would be about 50k vs the 75k financed. The dollar per watt installed through Northern PWR is 7.22$/ watt. It should have been half. I feel that I was totally taken advantage of and seriously regret getting caught up with this company that pushed through applications without explaining any of this process. STAY AWAY to all consumers. They sell you on a fixed monthly cost and do not even mention the fact that transmission costs from your providers are still yours to deal with.
