Incredible service, especially Shannon
Had an amazing experience with Nisbets, particularly Shannon's Custer service. I had to buy a chefs jacket at very short notice and couldn't pick it up during trading hours. Shannon went out of her way to ensure I got it in time. Very impressed.
Awful customer returns process
Ordered items, some were poor quality and so arranged a return for the following day, labelled the box and waited 3 days for collection. When I called them to enquire about my refund they told me that I will not get a refund until the box is back at their warehouse. I tried to explain that the box will be left outside the house as I need to go away after 3 days of waiting. I was informed, its my risk if the box does not get returned. I will not deal with them again.

Parry Fan assisted oven
Purchased a Parry Fan assisted oven in August 2022. The model has a door seal only around top and sides. Leaks water on the floor when in use?(Slip Hazard in Catering Kitchen) I had to contact a third party at a call out cost of £120.00, They spoke to Parry who said... that is the design! I got a wicker basket style fruit bowl. Looks really nice although already after a few months it does show some signs of wear and tear. Nice site though and I think I’d take another looks here again.

Wonderdry Tea Towels Quality Issue
I have bought their wonder dry cotton tea towels for decades literally, ever excellent, but they have changed the makeup from 100% cotton to poly cotton (75% cotton, 25% polyester) which is like drying something with a plastic bag, it just moves the water around. Will have to use as dusters and have re-ordered from another company that sells genuine 100% cotton wonder dry. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You'd have more luck trying to bottle fairies. When you finally get hold of someone, they just make excuses (most of them completely unbelievable). Emails only get an auto-reponse. Contact them on social media and there's no response at all. This is one of the worst companies ever and they are making a joke out of "support local" and "buy Australian" efforts. Don't waste your time
Nisbits NZ two months still waiting for order
Been waiting two Months for an order and was told will take another month. No way, waiting three months and needed them for events. Customer service lady was nice and showed empathy but yeah had to cancel order.
rude intrusive offensive bizarre staff behaviour
overpriced, plates and cooking implements unwrapped for everyone to touch, plus the staff are very intrusive and rude and behave in a bizarre manner - I had a mask on (my choice) - in an assertive manner (not friendly) a staff member demanded to know if i was feeling all right as i had a mask on - making me feel quite uncomfortable about wearing it. I asked them why they had asked about the mask and felt obliged to explain that i wanted to wear on just through choice and that I was fine and if I wasn't fine i'd stay at home - the staff member said she would be OK if I had covid she would just "step back" - it was so offensive to suggest that I was the type of person who would not take precautions and not care for others - it was quite an unpleasant experience altogether (maybe the staff member was new to the job?)

They send me a pizza fridge with the marble top broken, they have sent another one with only 1 man delivery and of course I can't put in by myself into the premises,so the driver very rube drive way!! Maybe they are coming today to delivery the new one but again I've to pay someone to help me to put the big fridge inside, and they want me to carry out the broken fridge because the driver does not touch or help me at all to move the fridge!!! Absolute shambles of a company. I've been passed from various "customer" service and sales reps, but still no resolution of a simple order after 5 months of waiting.

shocking Practices
Ordered an ice machine at The Beginning of May which was in stock with a 5-7 day delivery; 5 days later , I called to enquire about ETA to be told the item was out of stock; so I requested a refund and ordered a new one.
6 weeks later after 10 phone calls, 9 emails, I still have not had my refund of almost £1500 . Instead they have sent me an urgent reminder to make payment of £146.37 for an item that I ordered approximately a couple of weeks before I ordered the ice machine threating me with legal action if I do not pay by The 21st of June ( tomorrow) .
I have even sent two emails to The MD chasing up my refund; he has not even had the courtesy to send me a response .
all the customer service advisors , I have takes to ( and there has been several of them ) has apologised and have informed me they will make notes on file, what ever that means.
No ownership, no care and empathy towards the customers; They still have my money sitting in their bank account rather than mine, I wonder how many other customers are in the same boat.
Immoral practices by Nisbets; probably trying to earn interest on other peoples monies or improving cash flow, rather than showing empathy for a small business.

Computer says no!
So went into central Manchester 30 mile round trip to pick up a piece of equipment showing as available. The item was there, so I decide to set up an account . The sales person tells me the price which is £30 more than the price on the website. I pick up on this and he says he will speak to the manager. The manager wouldn’t honour the price on the web, but said they would deliver it if I liked. I explained I had technicians on site to fit the items hence why I came in to collect. What a farce. Avoid at all costs.
