Neighbors Trailer is the first peer-to-peer trailer rental marketplace in the United States and Canada. Founded in 2022 and based in Fort Worth, Texas, we connect people who need a trailer with neighbors who have one to rent. Whether you are hauling furniture across town, moving equipment for a job, or picking up a project you have been putting off, chances are the right trailer is parked just down the road. Our mission is simple. We make trailer rental easier, more affordable, and more local by turning idle trailers into earning assets for owners and giving renters more choices than a traditional rental yard can offer. Every renter goes through identity verification and driving record screening before a booking is confirmed, so owners can share their equipment with confidence. Renters get transparent pricing, a straightforward booking process, and real support from a team that actually answers the phone. Our protection program adds an extra layer of peace of mind on every eligible rental. We are proud to serve a growing community of trailer owners and renters across North America, and we are always working to make each rental smoother than the last. If you have rented or listed with us, we would love to hear about your experience.

If your a renter it sucks
If your a renter it sucks, you have people damaging equipment and leaving trailers in different places once I get it but more than one time it’s a problem, plus the insurance they have it’s pointless

Mario, we're sorry this rental turned into such a difficult situation. Our team worked with you through every step, and your deposit was returned in full. NT Protect covers physical trailer damage — it's not designed to cover lost rental revenue, which is a different category of loss. The deposit amount is set by you as the owner, and setting it higher is one way to protect against extended rental situations. We hope future rentals go more smoothly.
Owner of the trailer communicates well…
Owner of the trailer was great to work with, trailer was clean and more than I expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trailer to rent

Overall not so great
System is hard to use but its nice to have extra rentals. Probably my least favorite way to rent my trailer. Also customers service is some of the worst I have ever used. 🙃

The owner of the trailer asked me to hold trailer an additional day because he was not available for the drop off. And according to him. He had to charge me for an additional day per the website. So I got charged and additional day for no reason.

Brian, we hear you — damage and wear from renters is one of the most frustrating parts of listing a trailer, and we take it seriously. NT Protect covers eligible damage, and our CS team can help if you've had a rental go sideways. We're always working to improve renter accountability on the platform. If there's a specific incident we can help with, reach out through the Help Center or your rental's message thread and we'll pick it up. — Neighbors Trailer
