My Food Bag Arvostelua 

We used MFB and needed to halt the deliveries but were unable to do so successfully before (apparently) the order was sent out for delivery.
We tried multiple times on different dates to cancel this order but their system kept on conveniently (for them) crashing and would not accept our cancellation and there is no other way to cancel with them.
The order was sent to us and remained outside for more than a week and was obviously unusable.
I don’t consider that literally throwing away $250 dollars worth of food to be a positive thing for either wasting food or attempting saving a little money.
MFB have subsequently hounded us for their payment but accepts zero responsibility for the fact that their systems aren’t able to cope with people using it.
It would appear that when placing order the website works just fine but that the opposite is true in every regard

They charged me twice by accident and wouldn't give me a refund.

Good produce, easy and time efficient recipes.

I usually use HelloFresh as they are cheaper and provide the same, if not better product and service. On this occasion, My Food Bag emailed me a discount promo which I decided to use.

I put the second and third deliveries on pause as I will be away for two weeks. Somehow the second week wasn't actually paused even through the third was, and the payment came out for that week.

I immediately (within a few hours) asked to cancel this order as it will be useless when I'm away. The CSR would not allow this as supposedly the ingredients, etc have already been ordered. No, I'm not in the financial position to just give it away like the CSR suggested. Poor excuse for something that could easily be cancelled, and would have simply been ordered when I returned. Instead they have lost any future orders from me, and I will go out of my way to recommend HF over them to anyone in the future.

It should be a 1 star, but I'm giving 2 as they do provide a product when you actually want it.

Expecting a s**tty canned response re-enforcing their refusal to make a very simple compromise.

Getting fresh meals, that are easy to prepare and cook each week has made a huge difference in our home. No longer do we get home from work and say "what's for dinner?" It's now, which one are we enjoying tonight. Also love the fruit box for lunches and snacks.

Ordering is relatively simple provided you can find your way around a website. All meals delivered in the agreed time and in excellent condition. I have bought the pre-made meals and have found after a few weeks that they tend to become very ‘samey’ in taste, texture and presentation. However, they filled a period when I didn’t feel up to cooking and ensured I had a meal available. .

Good food and easy to order using the app.

This possibly isn't the cheapest option for dinner but for us it saves so much money, we don't pop into the supermarket to get something for dinner and come out with things we don't need and we don't end up buying takeaways because we don't know what to cook. It is also helping my two tween/teen learn how to cook. Most meals have been delicious. I recommend giving them a try

The food is wonderful and makes my weeks so easy

I am the cook of the family, but have recently started a new job, leaving Mr Hubby and Master 13 in charge of dinner every evening. Whilst I'm eternally grateful for their efforts, their repertoire isn't very big and mainly revolved around Mince & Pasta. I decided to try the freshstart box and TBH we have all thoroughly enjoyed every single meal so far, the choices are great, I love the recycleable packaging and use the wool to mulch my plants.

It’s been great! Love the selection of recipes - they are healthy, simple and easy to follow. The food is also always fresh on arrival. The text message service that says when your food box is going to be delivered is brilliant.

Food quality is great we have no waste. And we even have some for lunches next day. I referred my daughter Claire to the Christmas Box it was brilliant definitely will do this again, easy to follow, delicious Christmas lunch. Thank you Bargain box.

The ease of it all, not having to think of 'what's for dinner' is the greatest thing for me. Bonus is that the meals have all been tasty, enjoyable and a great portion size. It's the best meal box we have found to suit our family.
