5 Stars for genuinely amazing customer support & service overall. I had started my subscription on musicbed as a free trial. I quickly realized that at the moment it was not a service that I personally needed just yet and wanted to save money so, I thought that I had completed the subscription cancellation process but I must not have because I got charged for the month & immediately contacted musicbed over email a little worried about asking for a refund but I had to ask and not only did they respond extremely fast, they truly understood the situation, canceled my subscription (for the moment, I will 100% be back) and refunded me without any hassle. Like I said, this is a great service and I will be back. Highly recommend checking them out!

Sydney was so helpful. She was quick to respond and clear with her instructions when I inquired about upgrading from one subscription to the next.

In general, Musicbed is always so helpful and very responsive. Their customer service is SO great!

I really appreciated the fact that once I subscribed to their platform they setup an intro call with me. On this call they walked me through everything in great detail. Such a nice personal touch that their team goes out of their way to do this.

The selection on this platform is incredible and I've yet to find a song I do not like... highly recommend!

I'm a Film & TV composer, and my first contact with Musicbed (back on April 6) was a warm and professional interaction with their Client Specialist, Sydney. She answered my initial questions well and offered to be of help if I had further inquiries.

I've been using musicbed for almost 10 years and I would say AVOID. YOU CAN NOT MONETIZE LICENSED TRACKS WITH MUSICBED. They've single handed rendered like 50 of my projects I've created under these 10 years more or less useless.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Catalog is great but their website is terrible. Slow to a degree that it's unusable. As soon as I load up their website and start playing a couple of tracks it completely eats up my CPU. Tried it on several different computers and always the same issue. I did a Google PageSpeed insight report just to verify that I wasn't a "me"-issue, and it reports a staggering 17s to fully load the page O_O Aren't you guys using your own website? Speed and effecient should be priority #1 (after the music that is). The root cause seem to be they are using an javascript framework (react) to render the whole website, which is just so extremely heavy on the CPU. Anyone using react in 2026 is just a sad choice and it hurts business.

Why Musicbed, why? I just want to be able to scan for music tracks for our projects.

UPDATE:
I can't recommend Musicbed anymore. Their licensing is just completely ridiculous, because I found out that you simply can't monetize tracks that you buy license for. Uhm OK. Here is a licensing example:

Pay $0 and you can use the track but the artist takes the revenue.
Pay $59 for a Musicbed license and you can use the track but the artist takes the revenue.

Which alternative would you go with? Well there is no point in paying $59 when it does not add anything. So what exacly are you paying for? No one seems to know not even musicbed themselves.

So I asked Musicbed support what the point is and they simply couldn't answer this. This company is completely clueless to what they are offering, they don't even understand their own licensing model.

Nowhere in their shopping cart they say this. For example when you enter their website from a search engine (and landing on a specific track) and then click "License" there is exacly NOWHERE it says you can't monetize the track you are licensing. It doesn't even say anything in the actual license agreement.

This kind of companies with this kind of business practices I'm actually happy that it will dissolve because of AI.

I'm so disappointed of Musicbed. I've never experienced this confusing and nightmare licensing model and I've used almost every other company out there.

I’m happy I subscribed to Musicbed. They have an awesome selection and were upfront about it being a one year commitment. I’m loving everything they offer so far and plan to stick with them for many years.

Musicbed offers premium quality songs. Their annual contests are a real boom for creators to compete in international level contests. For my Film Academy, Film4EVER, this has translated to a huge exposure and rich experience to enhance my skills. I wish them all the best.

Having Musicbed handle all my sync licensing means I can confidently drop high-quality tracks into a client's rough cut without stressing over copyright claims hitting their channel after the final export.

Its mainly customer service. We are so exhausted from dealing with AI... when we have issues, we want the ability to talk to a human right away. No I dont mean, login and get someone in 5 seconds... I can wait in line. Every time I need something I get no where... the AI bot is useless. I had a rough experience trying out a promo. I still got billed for things even though I should not have been. Even the staff member talked to me like I didnt know what I was talking about. The promo was a try out music and SFX but I got billed and the rep talked to me like its my fault even though I sent clear screen shots of everything and still was like talking to wall. Ive had way better experience when dealing with premium beat the 3 times I needed customer service in 10 years. I ended up caving anyways and paying for a yearly membership for $1000+ or whatever the cost is but truthfully, I wish I just held out and didnt do it. Already feel like I am running out of good picks for music not even a week into it. Perhaps this is all on me. I'll spend some more time checking.
