Amazon Arvostelua 

Been a prime member for years. A big feature for me was Amazon music where I created myself different play lists. Recent ‘upgrades’ have totally destroyed the feature and now shuffles with ‘similar tracks’ which are nothing like what I listen to. Not only that, the kids playlists now get intermingled with explicit and inappropriate content too. There is now also a limited functionality to skip a track. In effect, Amazon now determines what music I listen to! It is utterly pointless and I am sick of it. Seriously considering ending my subscription. Would not recommend.

Its amazing how Amazon Music has really gone down hill. You first sign up to listening to certain singers or groups. Then they decide to move the goal post by shuffling songs from other performers / Artists that you don't want to listen to. And ask you to pay extra for listening to individual performers now. Before I used to listen all the time but but now I don't bother and find its a big con. No wonder why most people have given Amazon Music 1 star. They should listen to what people have to say and take it on board.

Absolutely hate amazon music now, can't listen to my playlist and the music they think I should listen to is awful, if it isn't changed back in the next month I will be cancelling.....surely amazon must read all these reviews and act!!!!!!

Prime music is now awful. Can't choose specific tracks and the similar tracks are not similar. Limited ability to skip. More tracks, yes but almost no control over what you can listen to. We'll done Amazon for destroying customer loyalty in an instant!
Now I know why they gave me 6 months of unlimited for free so I'd notice when it ended (yesterday) and would feel urged to pay for it, not!

There's been a major malfunction with prime music. It use to be an awesome app, but now it has become very limited even with being an unlimited member. Personally, if was you, I would by the hard copy. Yes, that's right, buy a CD and not mp3. Some mp3s are ok, but there are many that are scams and cons. Prime music is failing faster than wise society and wholes draws. I'm sure the amazon AI will redact my review, but it's worth the effort to inform the blind users.

So it now wont even play tracks that you bought off them, whoever came up with this nonsense needs firing.

Nil stars if I could . Greedy Amazon have ruined my years of collation of music that I like , with this totally rubbish shuffle infliction. And they put up the costs of prime to rub salt into the wound . Not being able to listen to my own chosen music, now means that my Bluetooth ear buds- bought from Amazon- are rendered useless as I listened to my own music, when car washing, gardening , and doing other jobs on my own. Disliking this awful shuffle means that I no longer listen to my Amazon music so do my jobs in silence !!
Am furious with a greedy, selfish, Amazon music company who obviously need the extra money they are trying to extract so that the owner can go into space again !!!!
Give us back what we had before, Amazon - a good service with relative value . Your new music infliction sucks !!

Well done Amazon.I cannot,now,get to play any of my tunes without paying the ransom.I will be going elsehere as so many others are.

Have been a customer for many years and always thought it was good value, they then decided to increase the price and wreck prime music.
You cannot select tracks you want , even for music you own, can only skip tracks a few times before being blocked.
All the time Amazon are trying to get you to upgrade to get the experience you had before.

Given budgets are tight at present,. Clearly Amazon prime may be something that is not worth paying for.

New update. Cannot select music. Keeps playing irrelevant music.

I don’t normally write reviews but the new prime music is so bad I couldn’t stop myself. I can’t even select a song I downloaded before the changes. Instead when I click on a song, a different random artist starts playing and I can’t get rid of it. Amazon really messed up on this and need to change it back to how it was.

What a mess Amazon. After paying for and using Prime for several years with the inclusion of Amazon music, I now have to listen to complete crap that some AI algorithm decides for me. Can’t wait for Amazon video to be updated… type in postman pat and get the exorcist.

Why has Amazon music been changed. I pay for the privilege of having Amazon prime which is SUPPOSED to include Amazon music. However I can no longer choose what songs I play on my playlist. Amazon does it for me so I now do not have the pleasure of picking what I want. All because you are trying to tempt us to pay extra for music unlimited. This is an unacceptable con that needs to change.

How can a organisation like Amazon mess something up so badly with their changes to Amazon Prime Music! I would have loved to have been in the meeting when someone had a great idea to introduce random shuffling when users try and listen to music!
Plus they have increased the cost of Prime membership.
So the decision to cancel my membership has been made so easy to make, thanks for the help Amazon!!!

Well done Amazon, paid for Prime subscription that includes music. Very happy with that, even brought Echo dots to play music around the house. Now I can't play the music I want to play, only what you think I want to hear. Just when everything has shot up in price, they want you to pay more money, billions obviously isn't enough. Will not be re subscribing to Prime or buying anything from Amazon.

Totally unhappy with the changes to Amazon prime music. I much preferred the access and control I had of 30% of your music than the current 100% with shuffle mode. The algorithm you use is all wrong it’s not worth listening to now. I’ve emailed in to complain and all I got as a reply was upgrade for £9.99 per month

Disgusted that after a decade of prime membership the so called music improvement has left my children without the ability to choose a simple song. Amazon bumped up the price of prime, then crippled a main feature of it. Better to reduce the cost of prime & remove music altogether rather than this embarrassing cash grab. Done with amazon's over priced goods, weak tv & poor services.

So awful I no longer use it. Amazon this is not an improvement. I know you want us all to pay for the music, but I already pay you increased charges for Prime, I may for unlimited books and now you want more for music. The music played now is embarrassing. I'm off to Apple, and Alexa is in the bin.

I've lost all the music from Amazon I've bought as well as behind unable to play songs on Amazon Prime music.

I press play on songs I've bought and something completely different plays. How can they call this an improvement???????!!!!!!

I've been paying Amazon prime for a number of years now. One of the nice perks was the amazon music prime members got. In 1 week my prime subscription increased which I wouldn't have minded, but amazon have stripped back the music service - no more than 6 skips, no offline listening (great for travelling/ flying). Its really poor and its greedy. Fortunately you can listen to most music you want on YouTube for free just have to put up with the occasional ad.
