Wish I'd looked at Trustpilot reviews.
The service I have had has been absolute rubbish, I have tried numerous times to load my card or to check my balance, I have a good secure Internet connection, I fill in all details correctly absolutely the one off pin ,as soon as I press submit ir takes me right back to the beginning, Has resulted in me being financially compromised and very frustrated and angry

SCAM !!!!!
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.!!!!!!
since more as a year i tried to get my extended card updated to get my money .
I also ask to transfer my 900.00 nz dollar to my bankaccount.
Since that i have supply cashpassport.com more than 8 times !!!! With a copy of my passport,driverlicence,ID,SSN number,social security document,copy of the cart ,name of my mother,a.s.o !!!!!
I have called them 3 times to identify.They called me 2 times for identification.!!!!
I gave my bankaccount nr.
Hopefully they do not misuse all this details for crime.
They always react with noreply .
So you cannot contact them.
I got sick of this company,i am 82 jrs,and will not waiste my time.

The Sainsbury's cash passport (issued by multicurrency) needs reviewing by the financial ombudsman. The company practices verge on fraud. If you have any query it will take ages (days) to speak with anyone, even when you do their ability to help is very limited. If you have to cancel a card (in my case because one had been wrongly issued due to a web site failure) the currency conversion will always work in their favour. This can be in the region of 100 UKP, not exactly a small discrepancy. The account security is diabolical. i do not know how this company is allowed to operate.

Stay away!

1. They steal money from your credit!
2. Card is not accepted in none of the services i tried, including google...

Multiple hidden charges- £2 for inactivity per month, £6 closing fee. Any savings in exchange rates is clearly not worth it. An outdate service

DON”T GET THIS CARD!!!! If you don’t use it in a 12 month period they will take about £2 a month from you until they’ve TAKEN ALL YOUR MONEY. Don’t trust them with your cash!! They will take money from you without telling you, then blame you for not reading your terms and conditions. They’ve been taking money from my account for a WHOLE YEAR. Whatever you do, DO NOT GET THIS CARD!!!!

I signed up for this card thinking it would make my life easier when travelling abroad, and earn Avios.

However the system is very poorly organised. Two different websites are required to check balance and top-up accordingly. There is a limit of £1500 per day which can be loaded, yet there is no mention of this on the top up page, and the system allows you to enter any amount you want. So I had no way of knowing and entered above that amount.

I tried to top up more than the allowed amount of £1500 and the payment was rejected and I was asked to try again. Not knowing why it was rejected, I tried again and the same thing happened. I was given no reason why the transactions were rejected. I contacted my bank, and they told me that both transactions had been pre-authorised.

I am now in a situation where both amounts have been pre-authorised in my bank account and I have no funds available.

I spoke to the card issuer and they had no contact with their merchant account provider at the weekend and no way to automatically release the funds. They want to fax my bank to do so. As someone who has a lot of experience with merchant accounts, this is really irregular and this is supposed to be done automatically through Visa or Mastercard. I doubt my bank will act upon receipt of a fax.

I have cancelled this card as I do not trust that this company really knows what it is doing. Plus it also took nearly 10 minutes to get through, which would be a problem if calling from abroad.

I am unlikely to have funds available for 72 hours now.
