They gave me a 1 week free trial.

On the 4th day, I did not like the platform and wanted to cancel. There was no way to do that!

I wrote to customer support. They told we can’t see your account, lol.

Today I am charged for a subscription fee.

What a pathetic way.

How this can be legal I don’t understand. There was no cancellation, no any info about membership, no billing, nothing…

I will never use this platform and don’t recommend anyone to do that!

Mubi give me a trial period. I cancelled after the second day but they claim I didn't cancel.
It should be easy to cancel ... Right ?
Stay away from Mubi.com the movies are no good and they will sting you when they make it hard to cancel your trail .

Mi e’ stato addebitato due volte al mese il costo del canone. Quando ho chiesto il rimborso mi hanno risposto che non potevano farlo ma se volevo un abbonamento gratuito per qualche mese. Mi sono disinscritto

Worst streaming service ever! Literally no good movies even on it. And it’s one of the most expensive. -5 stars

Shady company. When you go to the subscription menu it wouldn't show the cancel option only when you first click on renew.

Me di de baja y me ha entrado dos veces el cargo (Enero y Febrero). He contactado y no me contestan. Exijo la devolución íntegra, ya que no he usado la plataforma.

I’m yet another customer who is being charged for the subscription after cancelling. I wrote to customer service and even after a follow-up I’m yet to get a response. I only watched one movie that now turned out to be a very expensive one!

A very refreshing and impressive selection of independent and art house films. I am very glad to have discovered Mubi, it's certainly made my home cinema viewing more inspired and interesting.

Eccellente scelta di film d'autore, con continue variazioni nell'offerta. Interfaccia semplice da utilizzare, anche se evidenzierei meglio i film non più in calendario (a primo acchitto sembra che si possano vedere, ma poi manca il titolo). Preferibile di gran lunga a piattaforme più note e blasonate!

Purchased one week for free. Was then offered 3 months for £1.00. MUBI then charged me £11.99 a month for three months as well as debiting my account for £1.00. Have attempted to contact customer services: no response. Have cancelled my subscription to be told I will have to pay for 3 months. No support or anyone to talk to. Will now have to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges. Film selection is fine but not that interesting. Will avoid this platform and recommend others to avoid it as well.

Der sog. Streamingdienst führt in einer Datenbank eine Auswahl all derjenigen Filme, die Mubi nicht anbietet. Per Suchfunktion kann man sich solche Titel haufenweise anzeigen lassen und in eine Watchlist übernehmen.
Schauen kann man sie selbstverständlich nicht. Mubi behauptet, mit dieser Funktion die Kunden nur darüber informieren zu wollen, dass es viele Filme gibt, von deren Existenz man bisher angeblich nicht wusste.
Das sehr dünne Angebot angeblich, wenn auch in geringer Auflösung und in wenigen Sprachen verfügbarer Filme, wird wohl nur unterhalten, um nicht jeden Rechtsstreit zu verlieren.

Mubi offered a deal, advertising certain film titles (The Substance, Zone of Interest etc) that persuaded me to subscribe. Afterwards, it turned out that these films were not available in my country Portugal, while the advertising was targeted to Portugal. After contacting customer service, where I was given a detailed guide on how to browse, I was explained that Mubi is also database platform which does not mean the movies they advertise with are also streamable. This is simply deceiving advertisement. Since I have already watched a film, they could not stop my subscription before my subscription expires. Their marketing is misleading, customer service patronising and my subscription completely disappointing.

Servizio fuorviante e truffaldino. MUBI sui vari social promuove contenuti in cui ti invita ad iscriverti “convincendoti” facendoti vedere film presenti sulla loro piattaforma. Peccato che una volta iscritto (ripeto: a pagamento, 11€ al mese), scopri che 3/4 dei film presenti sulla piattaforma sono a loro volta a pagamento (dai 4€ ai 9€), anche tutti quelli che avevano mostrato nei loro video. In più la maggior parte dei film sono in lingua originale (attenzione: non inglese, ma proprio lingua originale, tipo Parasite è in coreano e basta, nonostante il film sia stato ampiamente diffuso doppiato, non stiamo parlando di un film indipendente). Ciliegina sulla torta: sulla piattaforma non c’è possibilità di filtrare i film per lingua, quindi praticamente ti scegli il film e solo una volta partito vai a controllare la lingua per scoprire che esiste solo in SVENKA.

Disgustoso, siete una sciagura.

I signed on for a month free promo deal. I watched THE SUBSTANCE but I had to use my laptop because the Mubi app would not load on my smart tv.
The next night all I could get was subtitles on a black screen with no sound. The night after I tried again with a different film. This time all I could get was audio & subtitles on a black screen.
Their customer service is virtually non-existent. You have to send a message & they will get back to you within 72 hours. I never heard from them.
A great selection of films but It simply doesn't work!

Total disappointment. I watched The Substance through a promotion done w New York Times. Canceled after that, based on the fact that I couldn't find the movies I wanted in a database - it was more like "wait until they show up, here's what we currently show." Even with proper cancellation, they still billed me monthly! Incredible! Had to contact Amex and put a block on them. Never again!

I forgot to cancel the subscription after signing up. We were charged month after month for over a 2 years even though we only watched one film, and that was on the day we signed up. Upon receiving my complaint, Mubi issued me a refund for 2 months of service fees and free access for a year.

Mubi has the right to charge monthly as per their agreement. That stated, it seems to me that they count subscribers to make similar mistakes as the one I made, otherwise they would offer a refund when it is quite obvious that the subscriber is not using their service.

Absolute Abzocke!

Ich hatte ein Probeabo angeschlossen, direkt gekündigt (ich habe eine Bestätigung bekommen) und trotzdem wurde mir einen Monat später der erste Betrag abgebucht.

Meine Beschwerdeemail wurde ignoriert.
