Order never came was charged anyways
After 3 hours my order was marked delivered even though it never came and was meant to take 60 mins max. I called customer service and they couldn’t track the driver due to an issue on their end but wouldn’t give me a refund even though they repeatedly admitted it was an error on their side. I tried to call the store directly but was put through to an automated message system that told me to call the customer service line I’d already wasted 30 min on and go online for store details. So going through the long process with my bank to get my money back. I will never use this service again this is 5th they either haven’t delivered at all after hours of it showing order in process or things have been missing or arrived on the expiry date. Save your money, go elsewhere for online grocery delivery

If I could rate no stars I would. DO NOT use this service. I was told delivery would be in 1 hour but nothing and no text message from a driver. 2.5 hours later I phoned Morrisons and was then transferred to a person clearly outside the UK. Put on hold and then told the driver had collected the order. When I asked what happens if I still don’t receive a text she could not say as the agreement to deliver is with a third party!
I asked for a refund but was told that was not possible as the order was out for delivery and I should wait another 30 minutes and call back. Morrisons have no means available to them to contact the third party driver. What an absolute shambes. I will not be shopping at Morrisons again

Ordered 60 minutes delivery. Was charged for everything but loads of it was missing. Delivery guy said it would come later but never did. I had to sit on the phone with them for ages then even though they acknowledged the error they couldnt redeliver or refund it. Eventually I had to go through the receipt and shopping and figure out everything that hadnt been delivered and email it to them. Absolutely useless

Avoid at all cost! Had a recently delivery from Morrisons where half the order was covered in yoghurt. Multiple other items damaged. Watched video footage of the delivery driver carelessly swinging the bags into the wall coming to my house. Oh and in every email communication quoting me free delivery only to charge me for delivery when delivering the goods. Pretty sure this is illegal Morrisons 😉 Don’t bother ringing their customer service either. They have 0 empathy and just sound bored. 3 calls later and still no resolution.

twice I have had a bad customer service experience from Morrisons-Petrol station on lockhurst lane in Coventry-Manager very rude and unprofesisonal. All over a damaged item I wanted a refund or exchange for.
Worst home delivery service
Morrisons bombarded me with promotional emails for weeks, offering a £10 discount to use on a home delivery order.
On the day of the delivery, they emailed us to say it would be delayed by an hour. When we contacted customer service, they assured us that the missed call was only to confirm the new delivery time and that our order would arrive soon, as the driver was just two stops away.
However, about 20 minutes later, our delivery was inexplicably cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances". We called customer service again, and this time they told us the order had actually been cancelled because the items were out of stock.
A terrible experience. We definitely won't be ordering from them again.
Most times no problem
Most times no problem , i only buy on online , as i don't drive . It's a lottery , as to what state your food arrives and if it arrives in the pre booked time slot.Some of my favourites i have purchased over the years have shrunk so much , i will no longer buy them.
In the last month snowmelons that used to be the size of a football are now grapefruit size and the smoked haddock fillet !!! , which is a tail piece has shrunk to 140grms.
I ask for the drivers to bring the crates to the door to avoid the food getting crushed by the driver , who tries to hand me several bags at once.
Some times the bags are badly packed already , so to also add the crushing affect of several bags squashed together , doesn't help.
Fair play to the customer services , whom refund items that are not upto scratch.

I have had Morrisons delivery’s since the Covid crisis of 2020. Recently the whole system has gone down the toilet, four times in the last six weeks, I have had a bland E-mail proclaiming that my delivery will be at least four hours late, broken-down vans, burst tyres, broken refrigeration units, are there excuses, twice the delivery has been the next day.
They seem to think people have no other existence then to sit around waiting for them to bring the groceries, there is never an apology for the delays, you get a E-mail to tell you they are on there way, but never a time slot when they estimate they will arrive. The whole service is useless.
So my advice to anyone who reads this DO NOT use Morrisons delivery service.

Tried using my local store but finding the quality of there goods poor. For example purchased some Light and Free yought only to find them several days out of date. I purchased a suitcase for a holiday but on returning home found the local on the case jammed and unable to open it. This resulted with having to force the lock open making the lock now unusable, what looks to be a good bargain was not. You need to be very careful and really spend extra time checking anything you purchase.
Sketchy IT Systems cause frustration
Chrome on mobile, mobile app and edge browser on pc all have an issue placing the order. Every other shopping store doesn't seem to have this problem. I will be shopping at Tesco or Asda whose websites accepted identical payment details. Morrisons IT systems need to be more reliable. I could have driven to the shop, picked the shopping had a coffee and been back in the time wasted deleting and adding payment methods, clearing cookies, trying a different device, clicking multiple times to get to checkout and on and on.......
Waterloo
Waterloo, Huddersfield. Travelled over 30mins to collect an order I had placed 2 days prior. Got there and the main part, the only part I wanted was missing. No email or contact to let me know. But thanks Morrisons for the making me drive over an hour for some overpriced beers.

Still waiting for an order two hours after it was collected by the driver. Be warned - Do not use. Tracking is updating constantly but it's always six minutes apart from actual time and ETA of delivery???? Refund request incoming, ridiculous service if you can call it service. DO NOT USE
Very difficult use of App
Tried to use app on my phone, session expired please log in, could not do this in store and this never happens at their competition, tried to add receipt online line but session expired a couple of minutes after log in, tried to email complaint but without a member of staff’s name or description this was also impossible, best to shop elsewhere I think.

No delivery attempted
Ordered via Amazon and the driver did not even attempt delivery due to a road closure in place. As I could track them I could see no attempt was made to follow the diversion.

Order was 4 hours late, no communication and still not delivered. Got to 00:00 and gave up went to bed. Woke up, no communication… had to go out and get the shopping from multiple different stores. Order arrived on the Sunday at 19:00pm, huh? It was a laughable moment, like a forgotten cousin turning up at your door. Customer service is terrible, think they outsource it to South Africa and can tell they don’t really care. Callback from manager arranged, no call the next day, called back to tell me nothing had been actioned. Useless. Won’t be using them again
dangerous substitutions for severe food allergies
I ordered a 90-item online delivery and had an unbelievable 12 items marked as unavailable. To make matters worse, almost the entirety of my dairy-free/vegan chilled section (including all my dairy-free cheeses and yogurts) was completely wiped out, entirely ruining my planned meals for the week.
Worse than the poor stock levels is the incredibly irresponsible substitution algorithm. I ordered specialized, plant-based Free From items due to a severe soy allergy and dietary restrictions. Morrisons decided to substitute these with Alpro single cream (which is 100% soy-based and makes me incredibly sick) and Arla LactoFREE yogurt (which is actual dairy cow's milk).
Substituting specialized allergy-friendly products with known medical allergens and actual dairy is genuinely dangerous. If your website allows me to book a slot and buy these items, your store should have the stock—or your system should have the basic intelligence not to substitute a vegan product with a major allergen. Appalling service.
Gone downhill rapidly
Having been a loyal supporter of Morrisons for years, in shop and now online, we intend to leave, despite having paid the yearly pass up front. Since they swapped the supply base, I can honestly say we have not had a single week without problems which you hear about 1 hour before. Substitutions are the norm, some are similar to what you ordered, but often not and often bizarre. Unavailable items are often common items, like new potatoes, but nothing offered instead. Frozen items were all missing. We weren’t told this. Apparently they had defrosted. As usual, the alcohol arrived with the security tag still on, and the drivers have no way of removing it. Having to download, as quickly as possible, from trays to bags is not ideal either. We complain regularly, when you can find a number to ring, and fill in the how did we do on the receipt email, but never any response or improvements. The app isn’t the greatest either, often very slow. The only good side are the excellent delivery staff who are on the front line and must be as fed up of this as customers are. Other stores may be as bad or better, so we will see. We use Ocado occasionally and there are very rarely any issues with them.
