I bought a refurbished iPhone from Mobile Klinik about 3 weeks ago.
Right after getting it, the phone was giving a system message that the screen had been replaced with a third-party part.
Fast forward ~2 weeks — the phone slipped out of my hand from about 2 feet off the ground, while in a 60% anti-drop case, and the screen completely shattered and the phone stopped working.
I had my previous iphone for 4 years without a crack.
They’re refusing to help, saying it’s physical damage and not covered under warranty.
Beware of pre owned online
I bought a good condition pre owned phone from the online store. It arrived with a scratched camera and would not take proper pictures. Mobile Klinik policy has a 15 day return window (which by the way you pay return shipping for) I'm sure glad I did Canada post with a sign option because there has been no response from the company in 2 weeks. There is no phone number only email. After 2 weeks, no refund...crickets. opened a dispute with my credit card company. Never again.

WARNING ! Horrifying Frustrating 800 dollar online purchase ever for me & my wife!!
Bought my wife an $800 Iphone 14 pro max in good faith from a good recommendation:) Bought it early November as a Christmas present. Once it was opened, the phone was defective right out of the box!! We understand that things can go wrong & just hoped that Mobile Klinic would just replace it with a good working phone since that was why I bought it from mobile Klinic. We went back & forth for over 2 months with the head office in Toronto & the end results was that they hid behind their 15 day warrantee policy & told us that we are out of luck!! Super disappointing & frustrating results for us & yes, we lost our $800 but we dont live in a perfect world & sometimes the good guys lose! But we just want to warn everyone that you may want to stay clear of a company like Mobile Klinic that wont stand behind their product! $800 IS A LOT OF MONEY TO US ..I am sure mobile klinic doesnt care about this travesty but we certainly do! Just be carful when making a large online purchase because we dont want anyone else to get screwed out of their hard earned money! I dont hide behind computer screens ! My Name is Mike Dale 250-420-7410 ..We asked for someone to call us & just got ghosted ...I am sure many customers have been satisfied with their purchase & good for them but we are not one of them..good luck

My review with the Mobile Klinik, Sherwood Park location, begins when I received a notification on my phone regarding a charging issue with my Pixel 6a. Google issued a warranty service announcement regarding the battery where there was greater potential for battery failure/explosion after receiving 375 charging cycles. As my phone reached this level, I was informed by Google to get my battery replaced under warranty at an authorized repair centre.
The closest Google authorized repair centre near me is Mobile Klinik, Sherwood Park location.
I received Googles battery notification just prior to Christmas. Upon checking online for verification that I qualified for replacement, I contacted Mobile Klinik and spoke to one of their technicians, explained the situation. Mobile Klinik had the battery in stock, however, due to the nature of the repair, often times the screen will need to be replaced due to cracking while disassembling the phone. As I needed a new screen anyways, a choice was made to hold off on the repair until a replacement screen could be sourced and provided.
I called mid January to check on the progress of my repair and was informed that another Mobile Klinik had replacement screens for my phone and arrangements had been made to transfer the screens to the Sherwood Park location. Calling the following week, while speaking with a female at the store, I was informed that no record of my repair was pending. Further, I was told that the battery was not covered under a warranty repair (as per Google) and I would be charged for the battery, screen (which I would have been anyways) and all labour. The quote was in excess of $300.00; far more than what my phone is worth.
Needless to say, I didn't follow through with the work.
Returning to Google, I proceeded with an alternative pathway for compensation for the defective battery and received a pay out for USD$100.00, transferred to my bank account.
I went online and sourced a new screen and battery for my phone at a fraction of the price quoted by Mobile Klinik and will be conducting my own repair of which I am more than capable of.
I would not recommend and will not proceed with the Mobile Klinik Sherwood Park location for any repair or purchase going forward.

Horrible experience - Lethbridge, AB location
Horrible, horrible experience with the Lethbridge, Alberta location. I recommend to everyone: Your local Mobile Klinik may come in a few bucks cheaper than another store/company, but please pay the extra few bucks and go to their competitor instead so that you may not experience the same poor treatment and service that I did. Even the customer ahead of me in line was complaining about a faulty screen replacement... so coincidence that we would both have an issue with their service? I think not. I will never return.

Order a Iphone in Very Good condition on sale and received it almost brand new. Screen was just replaced to new and battery was 100% capacity; also comes with 1 year warranty.

I just came back from the Mobile Klinik in Richmond Hill, on Bathurst. This is not the first time that I have used their service. However, it was the first time that it did not involve a phone, but my earbuds. I was told politely that they don't service them. I was then asked what was wrong, and I advised that it wouldn't charge. The staff took a look and basically cleaned it out and took care of the problem.
Extremely polite and knowledgeable.
I highly recommend them.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. Imo stay away… they sold me a faulty phone. A phone with a dying battery that was not disclosed when I ordered it. I would not have ordered a phone with a weak dying battery - the battery health should’ve been disclosed. I just couldn’t imagine that a company would intentionally try to mislead customers like that - with hidden problems and issues in the phones without letting the customers decide if that’s what they wanna buy.
I received in the mail a phone with a dying battery that was not disclosed when I ordered it online. By the time I discovered that it was a faulty dying battery when I returned home from vacation, I passed the window of return and they said basically too bad so sad sucker.
They wouldn’t give me a refund. They wouldn’t even give me the price that others offered to buy it from me for; they refused to buy it back from me for a discount .
I went in several times. I finally got to speak to the store manager. He spoke to some supervisor somewhere. They said sorry you’re out of luck. Oh well too bad - essentially that’s what they said. I said OK can I speak to the manager owner etc and they refuse to give me any contact information. Then they asked me to leave the premises.
Absolutely incredible to sell somebody a phone with a dying batter Without disclosing that the battery was in such poor condition when they sold it to me. They didn’t let me know that they did. I would never have bought it. Then refuse to even give me a selling price that somebody else would buy it from that they could resell.
They basically told me to get lost and refused to let me speak to the owner or upper management.
In my opinion, these people are dishonest and shady and if you have a problem, well good luck because they will never let you speak to upper management or the owner.

I purchased online a refurbished phone the condition was supposed to be very good. I ordered it then went on vacation - when I came back and turned it on. I saw that the battery was at 77%. I would NEVER have purchased the phone if I knew the battery was at 77%. The fact that it only had 77% battery health was not disclosed to me. I was misled. Being on vacation, I had missed the two week return window.
Anyway, I went to the local Mobile clinic store, & told them I wanted a refund this was only a couple days past the return window. They said sorry we cannot give you a refund but we can replace the battery because it’s under warranty. I said OK great but I want replaced with an Apple battery. It has to be an Apple battery if it’s not an Apple battery it will be more difficult to sell. I only want an apple battery. They assured me it would be an apple battery. It wasn’t.
And when I returned to pick up the repaired phone, I got her home and I saw that the battery health was unreadable. I called the store. There was no answer. I tried calling for two days. So I had to drive all the way across town to show up face-to-face and I said why does my battery health stay unreadable. And they said oh actually that’s not an apple battery because even Apple doesn’t make Apple batteries for iPhone iPhone 12 Pro Max anymore - I find out this was true. I called and Apple store and they told me that they absolutely do have iPhone Pro Max batteries brand new. So that was another thing
Then, I asked for a refund again and they said they cannot do that and I said OK maybe I can sell it.
So I’ve tried to sell it with no luck
So it said in a box for four weeks. I went into the store earlier today and said can you do something for me? Can you at least offer me what another person will buy it from me for as a Goodwill gesture for a customer oh my God, I mean that the phone is in good condition. You can resell it.
Again, as I explained about, they refuse to let me to give me a refund refuse to give me a partial refund. They refuse to give me the price that others were offering me to buy it. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor owner.
So basically, in my experience they will not disclose problems of issues that phones have, and if you don’t recognize the issue right away, which I didn’t because I wasn’t even here, then you’re stuck with a faulty phone they sold to you against your knowledge.
I will never deal with these people again and I’m going to share this review on every review site I can find

Horrible service at Oshawa centre store
Horrible service at the store in the Oshawa centre. Their mistake cost me $11.30 for a new sim card for my sons phone, not to mention the $40+ dollars I had to spend in bus fare going back and forth cause the phones kept failing. Then the girl forgot to put his sim card in the new phone and when I discovered this a few days later they told me they couldn't do anything about it and sent me over to the telus store to get a new sim card, to which they charged me $11.30. It's not the amount of money, it's that I had to pay anything at all for their screw up!!
