Bought an iPhone Air Open Box, for hundreds less than anywhere else. Showed up in perfect condition, battery health at 100%. In the settings it said it had been first used 3 months prior. Looked like it still had the sticker from the factory on the screen, but maybe they added that. Showed up exactly when they said it would, 4 business days after ordering. Came with a box with matching serial number, and the charging cord from the factory. Very happy with the purchase experience.

Ordered an Apple Watch through Best Buy Canada Marketplace from seller “OpenBox,”December 22, 2025 thinking of was an open box from BestBuy not a 3rd party and the parcel arrived with no Apple Watch and no retail box — only cardboard filler inside.

I reported the issue immediately and provided photo and video evidence, including opening the package and bringing it to a Best Buy store the same day. The seller initially responded but then requested a serial number, which is impossible to provide since there was no product included.

On January 14, they stated the request was “being reviewed by management.” It is now February 16, and there has been no resolution, no timeline, and no meaningful update.

Hello, I wanted to warn people about this site. I bought a laptop and an iPhone, but I wanted to share that they do not use authentic Apple batteries. The phone I bought isn't an Apple battery, as the battery health shows, so I have to replace the battery. I will not be buying from here again. On a side note, the laptop works fin,e so I don't have a problem with that

I bought an iMac that was labeled 2020. Turns out they shipped me a 2019 iMac!! 6 emails to info, sales and orderdesk and simply no response. Awful customer service, they really don’t give a damn about their customers. I was only looking for an apology and maybe a small credit for my next purchase. But nothing…

I only found out that they don't send packages to your home after they created a shipping label. Even prior to that I emailed them about Canada Post delivery due to the strike and they said nothing. The package hadn't been picked up by Canada Post so I emailed them and demanded that they deliver it to me. They refused and took no responsibility for their policy but blamed Canada Post. (My postal worker says Canada Post does not endorse this)
Did they reach out and ask me why? No.
So, in order to get my package, I had to send a friend via taxi to get it.
I could have ordered the exact same thing elsewhere for close to the same price and it would have been delivered, hassle free, to my home the next day.

j'ai acheté un ipad pro 13 m4 256gb .. se que j'ai recu est une boite vide , juste un chargeur un câble et les livret ! depuis des année je ouvre tout mes colis reçu devant ma camera de sécurité . car ça ma déjà arrivé il ya 4 ans ! et j'ai ouvert la boite dans mon salon devant ma camera de sécurité de la maison et j'ai fournie cette video comme preuve . et openbox.,ca fon rien ! faite attention si voulez pas vous faire volé !

ONLY BUY IN PERSON! Buying from OpenBox online is Russian Roulette.
They aren't some scam front or anything of that nature- seems to me they are just a very unorganized company. Twice I was sent the wrong item, and the customer service is virtually non-existent. 2 weeks to get a reply via email, with a ton of spelling/grammar errors. Absolutely pathetic.

Bought an iPad 10th gen for a brilliant deal. It literally took 5 days if that to be delivered. The condition was listed as fair. I was very pleasantly surprised, just a little squish on the box that is barely noticeable and the iPad is mint looks brand new, came with the usual stuff all new. So pleased will def buy from here again. Based in Calgary.

I bought an iPhone from them and paid for express 3 days shipping, it’s been 5 days and my order hasn’t been shipped yet. No communication on their part and impossible to call them.

Lies!!! Took weeks of calling and emailing to get them on the phone.I think the guy accidently answered and just kept lying! Said he would overnight my order for the 3 week delay. Then a few days later they sent a refund and no reason for it.

So far i bought 3 ipads open box they are pretty much brand new even the accessories were still sealed. Will buy again for sure open box.

Bought Apple Watch 9 on Best buy by Openbox electronics as openbox merchandise . Arrived on Time by Canada post with tracking number so I can follow the shipping ,
Except for the box that you can see that was opened before this is like a brand new one , easy pairing with my Phone no problems at all , i recommend this seller

Checked online reviews for this company, as the product I was looking to purchase was $150 cheaper than the usual price, so I was suspicious. I found good reviews and placed the order. Immediately after placing the order and paying, I received an automatic confirmation of the order via email. It was all running smoothly.

Two days after having placed the order, I had not yet heard anything about it being delivered. I sent the company a kind email asking for an update, and did not hear back.

The following day, I received an automatic email stating that the order was cancelled. The automatic email did not have any details as to why the order was cancelled but at least I was fully refunded. I sent the company another email, this time asking for an explanation about the cancellation. In response, the company stated that they did not complete the order because my billing and delivery addresses were different, and because I used a VPN whilst placing the order.

In all my years of buying things online, the above have never been problems. I have now placed an order directly with the product manufacturer, as $150 seems like a fair premium to pay to avoid the sort of incompetence openbox.ca have demonstrated during this exchange. I have made the company aware of this, and the fact that responding to my first email would have clarified the circumstances that seem so very novel and bewildering to them.

I will not be trying to buy from openbox.ca again.
