Poor quality Topsoil
The quality of the topsoil I ordered was extremely disappointing. It was advertised online as “blended topsoil with compost” and screened to 10mm, but the soil I received was full of stones, glass and pieces of pottery, including stones far larger than 10mm.
Rather than being a good-quality blended topsoil, it appeared to be gritty, heavy clay soil, more like material that had been dug up from a building site.
Unfortunately, this caused me additional costs on a job. I had to reseed part of the area, purchase replacement topsoil from elsewhere at my own expense, and spend additional time rectifying the problem.
Based on the quality of the product I received, I would not recommend this topsoil and feel that the description of the product was misleading.

We take product quality seriously and aim to provide materials that match the descriptions on our website. Thanks, Andy! We're delighted to hear you're happy with the quality of the product. We really appreciate your feedback.
I'm disappointed with the quality
To be honest, I'm disappointed with the quality of the rolled grass that was delivered. The rolls on top of the pallet were fresh, but the ones at the bottom looked like they'd been cut and sitting there for several days. I laid it on my lawn the same day it was delivered, and now half of my lawn is of normal quality, while the other half has patches of dried-out grass in almost every roll, which I’ll have to fix later at additional cost and effort.

Hi Kateryna,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We take great care to ensure our turf is harvested and delivered as fresh as possible, so we're concerned by your description of the condition of some of the rolls. This is certainly not the standard of quality we aim to provide.
We would appreciate the opportunity to investigate this further and understand what may have happened with your order. Please contact our customer service team on sales@mitchellturf.co.uk with your order details and, if possible, photographs of the affected areas, and we will review the matter promptly.
We understand the frustration of investing time and effort into laying a new lawn only to encounter issues afterwards, and we're sorry for the disappointment this has caused.
