Minor Figures Organic Barista Oat. The point of the Barista version is so one can froth the milk when doing proper coffee. This milk does not froth in my milk frother so I am going back to Oatly or Alpro barista oat. Minor Figures is soooooooooooooooo disappointing.

Genuinely really want to like this oat milk but I’m afraid it’s one of the worst ones! The taste isn’t smooth and affects the taste of my coffee a lot more than some other oat milks. However I love the brand and it’s fight for sustainability so if the taste improves, I’m 100% there!

Customer service I cannot fault at all but the Minor Figures Barista Oat milk is like water. Doesn't taste good at all. I'll never buy this again.

I use to love their Barista oat milk in the white carton but since they have changed the packaging slightly (to pour better and better seal) the oat milk taste different it is clearly more watered down and has no creamy taste to it like it use too. I wont be buying this oat milk anymore.

Customer Service does not reply to enquiries

I buy oat milk in bulk once a month and alternate between brands I like the ethics of. I brought 9 oat milks from minor figures and all were full of huge lumps suggesting a major batch issue. I got an initial generic email reply that wasn’t helpful, then no replies to any follow-up email. At the very least they should have issued a voucher for replacements, but I also requested that if that wasn’t possible, then to confirm they have donated 9 oat milks to their local food bank on behalf of this issue but got no reply despite chasing this up weeks later. Why would anyone shop with a business that had serious quality/safety issues, then non-existent customer service to resolve it? Issues can happen which is what customer service is for, but their customer service has meant I have wasted around £18 of milk down the drain purely because of their shocking quality issue. Not surprised to see such low ratings on here and would recommend avoiding. I’ve since switched to Moma oat milk as they are a similar brand and have no problems so far so would recommend to anyone having issues.

The barista oat milk is the worse I’ve tried and it’s not suitable for frothing at all, don’t understand why they name it barista!

No response to urgent order query over either their "customer care" email address or info email, no reply to tweets. I have been a subscription customer since September 2020, but have cancelled my subscription and won't be back. Repeatedly delivering orders to my old address despite removing it from my address book, and no way to contact them to resolve it, not even an auto response to emails to say how long to expect to wait for a reply, no phone number, no chat bot even.

I just wish it didn’t taste like cardboard. Why make such an ethical lovely brand we all want to get behind, and make the product taste so bad? If I find out a cafe only has minor figures, I’ll drink cows milk. If I accidentally pop in to a place where I don’t check what oat milk they serve, taste the coffee, and instantly know it’s minor figures- I *have to* throw it away. It’s truly undrinkable. So what’s worse? Questionable investors (investing in a good cause, bringing a good product to a bigger market) or a product that makes you waste an entire coffee/ revert to consuming dairy?

Research your oat milk -- there is no point switching to oat if you support massive corporations who invest in polluting industries on the side *cough* oatly *cough*

This may sound over dramatic, but minor figures oat milk is truly the worst thing that has ever entered my mouth. To say I am passionate about this topic and my tierlist of oat milks (oatly at the top and minor figures dead last) is the worlds biggest understatement. If my only achievement in life is eradicating minor figures from all cafes, then I will die happy. Whenever I am travelling somewhere, I will comb through all the cafes in the area’s Instagram pictures, zooming in on every frame, just to make sure they don’t use minor figures. Sometimes this process takes hours, yet every second is put to good use. Not even my parents disappointment in me can compare to the devastating emptiness I feel inside me when a cafe has that godawful white carton with a girl wearing a duck costume sitting on their counter. This morning I went to a cafe and asked the barista what oat milk she uses, and her response was ‘don’t worry, we don’t use that disgusting minor figures’. I have never felt so connected to a stranger. Her words were the final straw on the camels back and now I’m ready to make a difference. Minor figures, if you’re reading this, please listen to the people’s cries. We want change. Your milk tastes sour and bitter, akin to the taste you get in your mouth after vomiting. I am a vegan yet I’d drink cows milk over it without even a second thought. Please, we are begging, change your recipe.

I bought a bottle of minor figures oat milk and when I unscrewed the cap, there was a maggot squished into the lid divets. I emailed them directly and provided photo evidence and got no response. Its a health and safety issue which I would have thought they would have liked to rectify but they haven't. I wouldn't recommend this company or their maggot infested nut juices to anyone.

I am SO pleased with Minor Figures. In the beginning, I was a bit skeptical but my boyfriend convinced me and I am honestly so happy about it. The milk is delicious and the monthly subscription makes my life so much easier! Plus their attention to detail and customer service is impeccable, I had some issues with my payment and they fixed it immediately. They also really value your loyalty, from time to time they will add a nice card or gift. So well done!

P.S. I was quite surprised to see some comments about the milk not being good for frothing. I use the semi-skimmed oat milk and I froth it every morning and it works perfectly!

I bought the barista oat milk from Lidls to brew coffee with at home. Tried frothing to get a creamy/silky texture, however, the milk is too loose and watery. Tried a few times and still the same texture - lacking body, very little foam and separates quickly. May be a bad batch but I won't be using this again.

The milk itself is a tad sweet but some people might like it. I cannot recommend this for baristas as there are plenty of better brands out there.

Amazing oat milk, really good flavor and this is the only reason I tolerate their poor service. I’ve been ordering every month for over a year and the delivery is always late 90% of the time, and its not just a few days, sometimes it is over 2 weeks late. It’s a monthly subscription with the same fixed date every month so there’s really no excuse, they should be able to plan their shipping accordingly with so much advance notice given.

When I email the customer service to ask for an update, I get no response. However the next day the package miraculously ships and arrives promptly. I can see from the postage they clearly shipped it late and had to make up for it with DPD next day delivery. A day after it arrives, I get an email from customer service saying they checked and the product has arrived. They pretended nothing had ever happened and didn’t even acknowledge there had been a delay. That’s completely unacceptable.

I have now been using their subscription service for over a year. I only have good things to share, delivery always arrives on time. If i want to change the date of my next order that is easily done with a few clicks. Really recommend using this subscription service. Great quality products. All recyclable packaging. The organic milk is my fav!

I really like Minor Figures both for the brand for and the products. However on both occasions I’ve ordered directly for them the experience had been so poor and completely unacceptable. The first time; on a number of the plastic spout/ caps on my milk/chai cartons was not properly attached or too rigid for the container meaning that they weren’t sealed at all the whole spout just came off. This time my order still hasn’t arrived after two weeks - customer service via Twitter and email take about 2 days between each reply. Turns out my parcel was “missed” one of the items is out of stock and they’ve only just now reshipped my order.
Just really disappointing

This oat milk is delicious in coffee. Highly recommend.
