Easy process from start to finish. Robert Hoyle was just at the end of the phone if I needed anything. Can’t thank him and the team enough for their work.

Right from the start i felt i was being supported , i was extremely anxious and the team including Natalie Johnston and Rob Hoyle helped me through every step-- calling me in the evening to check i was alright. Each step was thoroughly explained , i felt as though they really understood what i was feeling and they did everthing they could to reassure me .

Was referred to Metro for an affordability check as I’m looking to purchase a shared ownership property.
The process is lengthy and they need a lot of financial evidence, but I got assigned to Lois as my case worker who was very helpful and efficient and I was signed off within 4 days.

Really good service. Both in completing the shared ownership affordability checks and arranging the mortgage. The admin team were also efficient and kept in touch when progressing the application. The portal works well and is updated very regularly. Well worth the fee. It wasn’t a simple case to place with a lender and Josh managed to find a high street lender still. I’d definitely recommend them.

I’ve had a great experience with Metro Finance. I worked with them over a 12-month period for a plot that I initially reserved but later had to change due to construction issues with the developer.

I can confirm that every time I contacted the team, I received excellent support throughout the process. My experience was brilliant from start to finish. Phil Pearson (my mortgage advisor) at Meridian-Metro and Will Timms and Joshua Payne (case handlers/managers) all did amazingly in ensuring the affordability/necessary checks moved along quickly. They updated my case daily and were always clear on requests for what was needed from myself.

All of the team were always available on call and very responsive. Phil helped me to find an amazing mortgage deal which has got me my dream home.

I cannot thank them all enough and would recommend them to anyone looking for a mortgage in future.

An Excellent and professional experience I received from Lois and Amy and team at Metro Finance in my affordability sign-off procedure for a Shared-Ownership property.
Definitely not an simple process but I was guided through the process with ease. Thank you. JK.

A botched-up affordability check was holding up the completion of a flat purchase. We were literally sitting on boxes. This wasn't Metro's fault but they needed to act quickly to help us move on. We couldn't convince the call handlers to put us through to someone to expedite. It was always passed through to a callback from an advisor which didn't happen. Eventually we were told to send documents by mail, which we did. This was in error because the "portal" should had been used. The mail languished. We were given conflicting information. After repeated calls Arun V was a person who randomly picked up our call. He changed everything. He immediately took on our case and quickly lead us step by step all the way through to a successful conclusion. He was very professional and calmed us down during a very stressful time. He even hinted he may work over the weekend to sort our application.
Conclusion. Metro systems are unable to prioritise urgent cases. Arun V is a star and went over and above to help us over the line. Give him a bonus. Case reference 2549382.

I've had very good experience with Metro Finance. As a first time buyer I have been very worried about the process, but all staff are very helpful and professional. I like that they know who is calling just from you number and the online portal was very easy to use.

Lois and her associates couldn’t have been more helpful,we felt they were on our side and tried very hard to back us.Unfortunately we have been informed today that 13 housing would want a 25%downpayment which we are not prepared to do.We are very sorry after all you efforts are in vain Cheers Carol and Henry Atkin
