Been to Merkur in Shipley 3 times,first time lost £1000 and didn't win a single jackpot (which is only £100) 2nd visit,spent £900 on same machine,lost every penny,NO Jackpot,max win approx £40. The 3rd time another £960 and still NO WIN ABOVE £35 got onto bonus round numerous times,and won either A FIVER or £2. The most Appalling place ever for entertainment. Was even just considering trying out the one in Bradford town centre tonight,but after reading on here it seems everyone has the same terrible experiences. GAMBLING COMMISSION SHOULD INTERVENE AND CLOSE THEM ALL DOWN ASAP!!

Not 100% on the date I’ve been away, only just had chance to leave a review. I Visited the merkur slots in burton on Trent, been going in the day a few times never had an issue, other than it can get busy during the day. So I tried at nighttime, nighttime was pretty quiet so I can understand why they’re was only one member of staff on,

I believe his name was ALEX. I have never met such a rude individual in my life, when ever I have been to the venue during the day I’m always treated with a smile, a hello how are you and offered a drink sometimes a cheeky snack and the odd promotion now and again, On this occasion I wasn’t met with a hello just am employee sat around playing on his on his phone watching video I believe,he didn’t even bother to look up from his phone to acknowledge that I had even entered the building which I thought was very rude.

I chose my machine put in my money thinking he would come over and ask me if I’d like a drink, nope nothing no drink no offer of any promotion no snacks or anything, I politely asked from my seat could I have a coffee please. Nothing didn’t even look up too busy on his phone.

I was always under the impression that the staff are supposed to monitor the building and customers in places like this. Someone could have come in and robbed the place and he wouldn’t have even cared, I found him to be very unprofessional and he certainly need to work on his people skills.

Speaking of promotions a friend of mine has told me that they’ll never go back due to a staff members attitude towards a text message they had received and from their description was the same person.

Staff very very rude apparently European ID’s are not acceptable ? Is this a joke … One of the staff was very rude once I went there and I was okay with an European ID so I don’t understand this is racist don’t recommend going there.

I spend nearly 1500 pounds there even not one jackpot, staff is rude as hell, she told me I leave the machine screen dirty I have to leave, this is Wisbech market place branch, they only robben people, gowerment is not checking them , all machine are fixed to not pay out, and thanks you rude big girl I won’t come again to your casino

I been playing in feltham since you opened and can't believe I not had a promotion in few weeks and all other merka slots give promotion and when I asked if I was getting a promotion when the area manager was there was told yes and when he went I didn't get it and since then I not any kind of promotion which is not good for business could this be forwarded to area manager I'm a good customer and play at reading merka you can ask them I'm nice and polite and feel like I don't want to play back in there anymore tbf cos it's not what I expect from a big company like yourselves

Do not play in Feltham murker I was told that the promotion stops before midnight because of there closing time but they don't close until 1am on a Sunday and when I entered the shop it wasn't even midnight so they are making there own rules up as they go along there matchines do not pay got free spins 3 times on the same game and got under £5 everytime the staff are rude and always around you watching u play I know people that have been barred for no reason at all it's a disgrace this shop will not last very long in Feltham as they are never busy and always empty

All the south Yorkshire arcades are bad everyone of them . Doncaster is the worst every staff member is ignorant with bad 121 customers service !
My review is of them all . Full of foreigners I mean most the staff in the arcades are foreign so must be family members emptying the slots and giving the staff a tip or going half..It's done in every arcade they've turned there machine payout up and yours down .. So my advice to you is stake 20p and dont put more than £20 in if you dont get a bonus on that leave ! Don't go guns blazing £2 a stake

What disgusting members of staff and managers they have in there
For a venue to only been open a couple of months I’ll be surprised how long they will last
When you ask for a managers number to complain they refuse to give it to you
The machines don’t pay either!!
Avoid at all cost !!

No wonder they close there venues as soon as they open them
