I tried purchasing some tickets to toronto with megabus but it kept rejecting my card. I have taken megabus 2wice and i have never had this issue. it kept saying the order could not be completed and my account was not charged. i tried a couple more times as i have already called my bank and they said nothing was wrong with the purchase. Alas, i opened my transaction only to discover megabus has taken. $500 from my account 4 times. I called them and sent an email stating my concerns, they never sent me a ticket and they have stolen money from my account and their customer service buffoons kept saying they will pass my concerns to a supervisor who will call me back. They never did. I am taking this case to my bank to file for a fraud case and i will definitely be suing megabus. Never again! i will rather walk to toronto from montreal than use this transport system. Please STAY AWAY.This is a Fraud!!

Carl Bradly of Atlanta, Ga was very helpful respectful and he met me across the street to help with my bags.. it was so helpful because my foot was really hurting and he had no idea. He was very pleasant and very protective over the people riding the mega bus in Atlanta. I felt very safe!

I was supposed to take a Megabus at noon today from Boston to NYC. Noon cane and went, no bus and no communication from Megabus. I calked them and was tokd that they couldn't track the bus and to call back in 10 minutes . So I called back and was told the bus was 69 minutes late. I guess the tracker was all of a sudden working . I asked for a refund and was told they did not give refunds. I finally just decided to take Flixbus because I did not trust what Megabus was telling me.
Thanks, Megabus! And their online bus tracker said the bus was on time, by the way. Awesome.

I am sitting in the bus right now from Bristol to Leeds. While booking, I was told the bus would be a double decker and I paid extra to book the front-most seat at the top. I intended to have a beautiful scene during the journey and this was the most exciting part of my trip.

However, some other bus came which was neither a double decker nor having a wifi. This hinders my plan of working on the bus as well.

I have been told that when I send a mail, I will get the extra money I paid for the seat back, but it doesn’t help me enjoy my trip at all.

I am highly disappointed. This is very upsetting.

Tried multiple times to book tickets online. Used 2 different credit cards, logged in as a guest and also used my actual account, continually told there is something wrong with my billing address or my credit card. Called both of my banks, they told me they see the attempt but then Megabus pulls back the charge. The problem is Megabus, not either of my banks. Called Megabus customer service. "Joe" tells me that my cards were flagged by some algorithm but he can't say why. He told me to have someone else buy my ticket and have me pay them back. What a stupid option. I told him to book it over the phone. He said he can't take my credit cards because they've been blocked. I told him that when I can't book online, I always call and someone books them over the phone for me. He says that's impossible. I tell him to look at my history but he says his system is down. He then says, call back later, is there anything else I can do for you? I tell him I want to talk to a supervisor. He tries to transfer me but after 60 seconds he says there's no one available and I should call back in 10 minutes. I hung up on him, called reservations, the woman booked my ticket using the credit card that Joe said was blocked, and I got my reservation. Apparently, this is a scheme they now use to drag a $7.00 phone booking fee out of people who they intentionally block from paying online. I will never buy a ticket from these dirtbags again.

Never again will I use this service. It is the lowest of the low. It just screams of nasty and filth. This company does not bat an eyelash if the bus inconveniences it’s customers by picking up and/or arriving severely late which was my last straw with this service. The buses use to be modern, clean, had 2 levels, all of that. Not anymore. It’s the exact same level as Greyhound now trust me. Passengers sneezing and coughing throughout an 8+ hour ride, nope I’m good I was paranoid for myself the entire time and I made sure not to get out of my seat not once with my belongings tuh!

Not good services , the bus from Heathrow to Cardiff delayed two hours without giving any reason , we waited in cold weather outside Heathrow airport , no one knows the reason , I never book with them again

Terrible payment experience. Had to do the payment many times, until the price was risen. This company is pathetic

Big Liars!!!! The customer service will stoop doen to any level to not refund you the money. Its ok dont refund but atleast DON'T LIE!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Big trip I've been looking forward to for weeks and this stupid company decides to cancel due to "inclement weather" less than 24 hours in advance. This level of irresponsibility while only offering a refund instead of compensating the customer properly for the inconvenience is honestly just embarrassing for them. I will not be using Megabus again due to their incompetence and neither should anyone honestly.

Megabus have made it all too easy for someone to steal my suitcase from the underneath luggage compartment which contained over £500’s worth of clothes, jewellery, and accessories. While they insist on packing your luggage onto the bus they leave every to take their luggage in a frenzy.

I have since looked online and seen this is a common occurrence on ONLY MEGABUS JOURNEYS, I have used other coach companies such as National Express and they have taken care of my personal belongings whilst in possession of them.

I would also like to add that despite the relatively high ticket costs the bus itself was filthy, had a terrible smell and had unbearably jagged and uncomfortable seats.

They also show no regard for enforcing COVID 19 restrictions such as having the passengers wear face masks and the reckless driving made me and my partner fell quite frankly unsafe.

A few hours before arrival I asked megabus (customer operations) to change or refund my ticket because my flight was delayed.
They simply answered, no our tickets are non refundable....
A good company would be more customer minded and in a situation like a delay of flight, which is possible to check, more flexible.

my wife and i took a bus from miami to orlando…it was so weird because when the bus started the trip just my wife and i were the only passengers, after that it stopped 5 minutes after leaving the station…the driver told us He said that the bus had been damaged and that they used us to get off, we got out and walked back to the stop and only after taking more or less 20 steps the driver started the bus and left... it was so obvious that it was not the trip with only 2 passengers who didn't mind leaving us in the middle of the street without at least returning us to the stop... call costumer services and it took a long time to assist me and resolve at least the return of the money!

FUYEZ ce transporteur . Privilégiez le train. Le chauffeur du car a balancé ma valise dans la soute sans aucune précaution, cassant roue et pied de la valise et mentant ouvertement en prétextant que ma valise était "overweight" ( dés lors il n'aurait pas du l'accepter) et que la roue était déjà cassée (alors que je venais de l'acheter pour mon séjour ). Après près de 2 mois de relances et aucune nouvelle du service client j'ai reçu un fin de non recevoir ,m'indiquant que je mentais et que le chauffeur avait raison....et ce alors même que 2 personnes scandalisées par l'attitude du chauffeur m'avaient proposé un témoignage. J'aurais préféré rester sur le quai et perdre 20e de billets plutôt que le prix d'une valise neuve . SCANDALEUX ET HONTEUX .

Awful, take National Express instead please!! Staff/drivers are so rude, driver rolled his eyes at me when I gave him my suitcase to put in the holding compartment (sorry I’ll just travel 200 mile with nothing shall I??) and his mate/spare driver was shouting at the customers for daring to get up to the toilet!! Please please for the sake of an extra few quid use another bus company. Never had an experience like this before, shocked how they can get away with treating paying customers like this. Just sad and frustrating

Freezing cold on the bus, ALWAYS!
If you want to freeze your bum off, then take Megabus, especially in a rainy, humid day. Been using Megabus for a few months, always cold. Today, I asked the driver to put heating on, which worked for about 20min, then he turned even lower than before. Its an absolute joke!
I wish I could upload pictures, nearly all of the passengers sitting in Jacket. Air conditioner is on in January!
This was the last time, I rather take National Express for an extra 2-3 pounds, worth having heating!

What a horrible bus company! I called prior to purchasing a ticket informing the agent that I was purchasing a ticket for my 83 year old uncle who uses a wheelchair. I asked if he would have any issues getting on the bus and what information would he need since I live in a different state and I was purchasing the ticket for him. I was told that all he needed was the reservation number and he would be fine. This trip was travel from Washington DC to Penn Station in NY on Thursday, December 23,2021. I had a family member take my uncle to the bus station just in case he needed assistance. They got there around 5:40am and there were no buses for Megabus nor were there any agents directing customers to where the Megabus would be leaving from. My 83 year old uncle waited in the freezing cold for 40 minutes only to find out that the bus left. I’m not sure if the bus left earlier than it was supposed to because it wasn’t supposed to depart until 6:20am but while my uncle was waiting and there was no bus. I had to have my family member put my uncle on the train and because of that experience I didn’t want to chance another issue with this company so he didn’t take his return trip back. I emailed the company and informed them of what transpired and the response was an apology for me missing the bus but told me I could purchase another ticket and further informed me that I would not be receiving a refund. Days later they had the nerve to send me emails to review their company. They have to be out of their minds. I will review on all platforms but unfortunately it will not be a positive review. I would not recommend this company at al!

I am a disabled person who cannot take a bus during a pandemic and I asked for a refund for a trip I'd planned -- and they refuse. During a pandemic. What a heartless, soulless, inhuman company. Truly disgusting. I never write negative reviews, I usually just let things go, but this deserves all the ire I'm giving it.

Megabus is SOOO HORRIBLE!!! Like countless times I've had to wait 3 or 4 hours before my bus comes. When I check on the timetable and track my bus it says the bus is already here. It's so fake and terrible. Definitely shouldn't go on it or you will definitely be 2-3 hours late to what destination you are going to.

I had a 16:55 ticket and the coach didn't arrive until 17:15, and when it did, the driver said it wasn't for the location I was going to. He said to catch the next one. Fine. The next coach arrived at 18:10. That driver too said that's not my coach. So, when I went to customer service , the staff said my coach had already departed at 17:15.
I have contacted Megabus for a refund. Waiting to see their response.
Avoid! Absolutely avoid. In a world where Time = Money, Megabus wasted both time and my money.
