Over the Easter long weekend my brother had a consult and the whole process was simple and straight forward. Now unfortunately, I've come down sick as well, and with our local GP closed for the holiday break, it was such a relief to know we could use this service again.
Being able to have a consult from the comfort of your own home makes it a lot easier, especially when you're not feeling well. The experience had with my brother gave us confidence to use it again, and it will definitely be our go-to from now on.
It was also reassuring to have nurse Angela attend to us again. She was incredibly helpful with organising the booking, and recommendation for a follow-up consult. Her support and guidance made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
Thank you to the GP, Harry , and Nurse Angela for all your help. We will definitely be using this service again in the future and will recommend it to our family and friends.

I have used this service several times now and it is quick, efficient and cheaper than going in to see a doctor who are almost always running late .

I waited 2 hours to get a call from the doctor on a weekday early morning. Then waited 1 hour to get my medical certificate, which is not mine! Customer service doesn't pick up their phone and takes ages to reply to messages.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent consultation with Nurse Emmi from Medmate.

Nurse Emmi went above and beyond to assist me in resolving my issue, particularly in helping explore options for non-flavoured vape alternatives.due to experiencing reflux with mint flavours , She was attentive, efficient, and highly responsive throughout the process.

What stood out most was her caring and understanding approach. Seeking support for smoking cessation can sometimes feel uncomfortable due to stigma, however Nurse Emmi created a safe and non-judgemental environment. I felt genuinely listened to, supported, and reassured.

Her professionalism and compassion made a significant difference to my experience, and I am very grateful for her assistance.

I'd give a 0 but can't, so I ordered escripts online and didn't know til afterwards the pharmacy is on the other side of the country. Yeah that's useful. NOT!

When I tried to register my details the 'Submit' button doesn't do anything even after trying a few times. Later on a staff called me regarding the registration. I explained. She tried herself to no avail.
Then a Doctor called and said I merely had a viral infection. Vitamin C, Ibuprofen etc should resolve it in a few days. (In hindsight I should have reminded him that I am not an average young man with a healthy immune system.)
But my conditions went downhill and so I had to see an in-person Doctor who diagnosed me systematically and prescribed me antibiotics.

A big thank you to Nurse Angela for recommending Medmate. My husband was really unwell and we couldn’t get into our local GP, so Medmate was a great option, especially on a weekend over the festive period. The appointment was easy to book, the wait time was short, and we got exactly what we needed. I’ll be recommending it to family and friends!

Waited 3 hours couldn't contact anyone or emails not answered. Went to bed useless service still waiting for a refund.
Thankfully it was only for a a script.

Negative experience. Paid twice. No service. Update: 19.11.25. Medmate refunded payment at last. Given the $22 rate, not a bad service all round. Thanks.

Not sure whether they are real or not. Have no way to contact them. Paid for a consultation and they sent 2 texts saying will contact you soon and never called. No one to answer calls from their side.Their app is not even working on my phone.

They have called after 4 and half hours late. But very nice doctor. Explained they are short of staff and sent me an e-script. Also apologised.

I didn’t know about Medmate until our pharmacist told me about them. It was a Saturday morning and couldn’t get into the doctors and I just needed a script. Easy to organise online and it only took about 40 minutes for them to ring back and the doctor was quite pleasant. The script came straight through to my phone. Great service.

These guys are always professional and very helpful whenever I have an issue with my chronic illness. I often can’t just get into my GP so it’s a good alternative.

Absolutely not useful at all. I received 6 text messages on Saturday advising that someone will ring shortly. The 7th text notified me that your query may take 24 hours before someone will be able to assist. this was over a 3 hour period. My wife rang our GP and he did a telehealth over the phone & I was given a script to be given to the pharmacy. I rang 3 times saying that I no longer require their GP to assist, as I have been sorted by my own GP and a refund will be required. 2 hours later I had 4 calls from various doctors wanting to help me with my problem, my wife was notifying them that this has been cancelled as I have already been attended too with my own GP. They did refund my card promptly, but they did not remove me from their callback system so I didn't get anymore calls. 2 days later & I am still receiving emails regarding pharmacy follow up, nurse will contact me as a follow up. This would be great if I was attended to on the Saturday. Sad to say but if you are away and on holiday, I personally wouldn't recommend using this service.
