Mavis Tire - US 378 Arvostelua 

I made a reservation online for 4 new tires. I arrived at Mavis for my 12:00pm appointment on 10/5/26. When I gave them my reservation # they didn’t have the reservation for my tires. I had screen shoted my reservation # so I showed that to prove that I did do it online days before. Next I was told they didn’t have the tires I wanted there. Cassie proceeded to tell me there were other brands to fit my car. I only wanted what I reserved for. Then Cassie asked me if I could wait if she got tires from another store. I said yes. Her guy came back with the tires at 1pm. At 2:25 I was called up front & told my car was done. The CSR was getting my invoice ready & when he told me the total, it was way off what my reservation showed for my tires & I asked him to give me the breakdown. When I looked at his screen it had a higher price for each tire, not the price for reserving online. It had$130+ for computer balancing where my reservation price was $119.56. So they had to readjust all that. I ended up paying $1000,71. Receipt showed parts -$808.74, labor -$119.56, total taxable -$808.74, total tax- $72.41, invoice total -$1000.71. Do the math-7% tax on $808.74 is $56.61. I was overcharged for state tax. They told me that I needed to get an alignment after getting tires. While I know I didn’t have to just because I got new tires, I asked why they didn’t just do it while I was there. Cassie said because the person who does it wasn’t in. Upon leaving I noticed that they did not adjust/recalibrate my TPMS because my tires read 4 different PSI’s. I immediately went back. The CSR checked my tire pressure & said they all read the same & he said I should drive it for awhile & it will correct itself. Again, if it says they test the TPMS then it should have been done. I went home & had my son come out to look at the tires. It was then we both noticed all of my rims scratched up, a ding in one & grease all over all 4 of them. I was there for 2 1/2 hours to purchase 4 tires & get them balanced. The fact that I was overcharged for state tax alone is a big issue let alone the other incompetence. Mavis appears to be an auto center for beginner mechanics. While Cassie & her assistant were friendly, it seemed they were not fully proficient at their jobs.

extremely disappointed with my recent oil change experience. Before the service, I requested a specific oil and was assured that it would be no problem. This location had previously serviced my car using that same oil. However, my receipt showed that a different oil had been used.
I called immediately and Cassie instructed me to return so they could correct the mistake. I had originally visited on Saturday and returned on Monday, less than 48 hours later and driving 2 miles.
During the return visit, the mechanic struggled to remove my oil filter. When I asked what was causing the delay, he told me that another mechanic had the proper wrench and he wasnt in today. Questioning why they are short tools. After attempting to remove it with another tool, he repeatedly said he could not get it off. I ended up taking the pliers and removing the filter myself.
The filter looked extremely old, and the oil being drained appeared completely black—even though I had driven no more than two miles since Saturday’s service. There is no reason for the oil to black after 2 miles. The mechanic offered an explanation for the oil’s appearance, but what I saw left me questioning whether the filter and oil had actually been replaced during the original visit. It seriously damaged my confidence in the service.
The requested oil and new filter were eventually installed. However, having to return because my instructions were not followed—and then personally remove my own oil filter—is unacceptable. I expected professional service and left with serious concerns about the quality of the work and question more whats going on at this location and will be reaching out to headquarters for Mavis. If you go here asked to see your oil filter and oil to confirm the job was even done.

The picture is a picture of the oil filter that was 2 days old there is not one shade of white just black as can be.
