Mavis Tire - Patchogue Arvostelua 37

If I could give a zero, I would. I called Mavis in Patchogue to schedule my appointment. John, the manager, joked and said, "Do you know where you live?" You live 4 hours away, I said yes, I'll be there in about a week and a half, and I need all parts ordered for when I get there to have my car done because I am traveling out of state in about a week. He stated he would order all parts, so I told him what I was doing 4 tires I told him what the price online he said he would keep that price for the tires, an alignment, balance tires, oil change, wiper blades, cabin filter, and air filter, he told me a price.
He did not keep that price nor did they do everything I asked them to do. I get there and they take my car in call me say it is done. I get there and they say we couldn't do the wiper blades because they couldn't get them; they have to order them. I said," do you see when I called to make this appointment?" he said yes," A week and a half ago. I said, " Yes, you had a week to get blades in, and you do not have them." He said "No, we can order them, we can do the back blade for the 20 dollars." I said, "20 more than what I am paying now.", Durby said Yes... I said the price John told me had everything included, now I am not getting blades, nor a cabin or air filter for the same price with less done.
So Durby brought the price down a little bit. Still did not get the other stuff done. I go to pull my car out and notice a mud flap on the back is off; they did this. So I go back in and tell Durby, he goes into the shop, and speaks with John who is the manager, and he was as rude so I went out to speak with John and he was rude as can be. I, the guy working on the mud flap was aggravated because he had to fix this.. which was their fault.
So I take my car out and the tires that are supposed to be balance are not the left tire front looked low, they never checked the door to see how much air should be in the tires. So, I go back in and tell Durby this, he sends a guy out who was made because I kept questioning everything. This guy says yes tires are two high in pressure and lowers them, I said okay, thanks, I leave, as I am driving my car it is still pulling to the left.... I was supposed to have had an alignment done, what the hell. I call back and Durby says I am so sorry you can bring the car back in or come back tomorrow, I said no way am I every coming back to you. He then said I have 30 days to get it fixd. I got talked into buying the tire repair for every tire onto my price. I asked to take off two coupons on for $35, and one for $20 for oil and alignment, Durby said he took them off. The price John quoted I paid for with have the stuff not done and the stuff they did wasn't correct. I will be calling customer service and above them to Mavis headquarters they should not have John as a manager, I feel like I was batted into this sale because they worked on my car and charged me to much for what they did the full price with stuff not done for that full price.
Durby was the only person who tried to do what he could. The manager John should of did something besides being Rude!

Tim and Rob took excellent care of me. Everyone in the store is competent and always provide great service.

They handle appointments well, their service is excellent and they take the time to explain and show you the work that needs to be done. Highly recommend them!

Strongly recommend avoiding Store number 53 located in Patchogue. After ordering a set of tires from Amazon and having them shipped to this location for installation. I was disappointed to find they damaged all of my rims around the center caps after being instructed by other companies that due to the damage all the rims will need to be refinished I reached out to corporate 4 times and was instructed they would call me back which still did not happen. After speaking to the store manager who is not the most friendly person you will meet I was instructed on how they use plastic tools and could not have caused the damage the only problem with his explanation is that I wash the truck 2 times a week and it is a 2021 with 21 thousand miles so Mavis was the first company to replace the tires and perform the alignment. The only way I would recommend using this company is if you enjoy writing bad reviews and filling out paperwork to request a day in small claims court or just laying out additional money for something they caused.

It's a good thing Mavis corporate cares about repeat business because Mavis located on Medford Ave in Patchogue, NY does not. What a bunch of unprofessional amateurs at this location with an owner or manager who is a complete a-hole. Took my car in for a NYS inspection this morning and for the usual oil change and tire rotation. I am a repeat customer with a long history of doing business at this location. They call to inform me that one of the wheel studs is stripped and it will cost me $125 to fix and, of course, it won't pass inspection without the repair. There were no stripped wheel studs on the car before I dropped it off, and that's a fact. Now, wheel studs don't cross-thread or strip themselves but an idiot with an impact wrench will do the trick, especially if he's turning the lug nut in the wrong direction with one million pounds of pressure on the wrench. When doing automotive mechanical work, sometimes bad things can happen and that's OK. What's not OK is charging the customer to pay for your mechanic's mistakes. Just fix it and don't charge me for the repair. Unlike the schmucks at this location, Mavis corporate handles themselves in a professional manner and was able to resolve my complaint to my satisfaction by issuing a voucher to mostly cover the cost of the unnecessary repair. The only looser here is Mavis on Medford Ave. Check my record, Scott, you looser. I've spent plenty of money here but I won't hand over another a dime not will I ever return to this location. Thanks to Miguel at corporate I will give Mavis another opportunity, but not at this location.

Quick service, always pleasant, and never try to sell you on something not needed.

I love coming Here. They always take care of my Jeep. Friendly and price is always right. I like that they come out to you and speak to you. If anything else is wrong or something needed. Thanks guys. Keep up the great work!!

They are always courteous and informational about the services needed..And, they never do or attempt to go beyond their capabilities. I love that, so I keep going back to the Patchogue center, I live in Freeport now.

This store is fabulous. Had low pressure in tire. Went to Patchoque they were busy. Chris said he would put air in my tire. As he was doing that he saw a nail. For my own safety reasons I decided to wait and have it fixed. ( wait time 60 minutes). I was delighted to be taken on way before that. So professional, respectful, with a job well done. I would never go anywhere else. Patchogue’s team is outstanding

I explained what I thought was wrong with my Mini and John listened. We checked the tires and did alignment and the ride and feel were greatly improved. Price and speed were much better than dealer. Glad i came here again.

Took my truck in for an inspection to the mavis in Patchogue NY and was told that they could not do it because I have wheel spacers on my truck, mind you they have been on there for years and have never had a problem and it has always passed with them on. Took it to a different place and got it inspected was told my wheel spacers have nothing to do with the inspection. So what is Mavis’s problem. Obviously they just did not want to do it. I will never recommend Mavis in Patchogue NY.
