Most incompetent place of work, no one is really communicating to each other, and you can only contact them via email.
Only gave 1 star because I had to too.. I would of given none !! No contact at all really for job I applied for, turned upto the job and then when I got there the job I applied for didn’t even exist it was a completely different position which was not suitable. Awful company and awful service. Do not .. I repeat so not use them.
Please do not bother with this trash company, spent my time filling in a form with information I had already given them previously, only for that form to not show the checkboxes necessary for me to submit it.
Also didn't bother to tell me that I didn't need to fill in a ton of information on their compliance check page so I had to phone them up asking about it, I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO THIS. Terrible company, avoid at all costs.
Do not work for these. They will mess you about with your pay for weeks and ignore emails and when contacted directly will give you a book of excuses..!
At first I got quick responses but when an interview needed to be scheduled Nicole was almost impossible to get a hold of, I would call back numerous times and kept getting told she’s busy. she wouldn’t even try getting back to me which meant I missed out on the job because Nicole’s priorities were all wrong and it felt like she was avoiding my calls.

I applied for work with Manpower as a delivery driver during the pandemic and after all the usual checks I was offered work at Royal Mail delivering parcels. I did mention during my telephone interview that I’d had back operations and that I couldn’t walk long distances and I was assured that it was fine because I would be delivering parcels.
3 days into the assignment I was told that I was going on a full walk. After explaining all to the manager I was told to finish the week and move on.
I was then sent to another delivery office where I was delivering parcels but this time I explained to the manager from the start about my condition and the manager made out that things would be ok.
I was delivering up to 140 separate deliveries per day which was quite unusual for “ an agency worker “ but having a parcel company background I was happy to get on with it.
Then came the full round “ Delivery walk “ which I again explained to the manager that I couldn’t physically do it as I then had to increase my pain medication in order to cope with the demands of walking between 7 and 9 miles daily.
I kept asking my contact at Manpower to place me in another job as I was licensed and experienced to drive a C1 vehicle and every time there was nothing but excuses.
I eventually had to leave because my back was taking too much of a pounding.
The Delivery office manager bad mouthed me to Manpower because my contact no longer answers my text messages, I wrote an email to Manpower asking for someone to explain the treatment I have received from them but as you can imagine no one has bothered.
They knew my problems with my back because my contact at Manpower even rang me once to ask me some questions about the pain, treatment etc for a spouse
Maybe Manpower should train their staff to listen and take notice when someone applies for a job and informs them of all the “ what I can do and what I am unable to do “
Also understands that some managers do tell lies rather than tell the truth about the reason why employees leave

Avoid at all costs. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing in ManPower. No professionalism from their staff. Worse experience of my life.
Issues with contract, which took 10 people in ManPower to resolve.
Then issue with logins so could not get see payslips for 6 weeks.
Then payments stopped and another 6 weeks to resolve this.
To top it up, a payment missed and it would take another 10 people to sort out.
Worse company. Miserable staff. If you ask for Apples, they will give you oranges and say enjoy.
Avoiddddddd at all costs.
i started worked and not been paid! when i spoke to fellow agency (manpower workers) then ALL had not been fully paid SHANNON HALLAM could not deliver a newspaper
Terrible. Dulux distribution job came up with two positions, (sales and sales plus driving) . My GF went for the sales position as the driving was more suited to a man as there was heavy lifting. Manpower put her in for sales and gave her an interview date but they put her forward for the driving position by accident. By the time they went to change it the sales job she wanted to go for was filled.
So in a nutshell the woman at manpower may have lost my gf a potential full time job. One thing is my gf has advanced experience in the paint industry and did not need training.
Well done manpower.

I received a call on my mobile and verbally accepted the job, although this was different from the original role I was offered. I was told training will commence on the 9 Mar 21.

I started to train on this day. I completed 3 hours of training. At the end of the training, I was told from the client that I will be contacted directly regarding start/ finish times but I was not contacted once, after the 9 Mar 21. When I asked Manpower what happened, Manpower said... "the client has gone quiet and we have been unable to get any answer as to why you were not informed of any further work." Are you serious? I will say no more!

Manpower terminated my employment without notice.
I have applied for a Customer service job at HSBC on 18th April, interview scheduled on the 22nd April and offered the job on the same day, conditioned by me passing the compliance check. Lots and lots of documents requested to upload on my account opened on ManpowerGroup platform. I was initially told that starting date would be around 10th May , then someone called and said it will be around 7th June, then I have sent an email asking about any updates and a guy told me that he "can`t give out information regarding start dates for individuals as he doesn`t have access to that info". Really ?!?
So, they advertised a job without even knowing the start date ?
Anyway after this , someone else called me about few weeks ago saying that she doesn`t know the starting date, but it might be sometime in June or July....... Or never I would add. Useless company!!! If you really want a job and need that job as I did when I have applied back in April , don`t waste your time .
I think that the only thing they do is that they advertise for hypothetical jobs so they can have a data base of candidates. I`m just sorry I have wasted so much time so far but a while ago I have already started to apply for other jobs.
Manpower are the WORSE 'recruitment company' (& I use that term loosely with regards to them) I've ever come across. They offered me a temp home Covid testing job (through Teleperformance...another croc) that I jumped through every hoop to get. It was like going through an alien autopsy. After messing me about with start dates we agreed on 17th May. At first they asked If I had my own laptop/PC (everybody does) so said yes..be careful, this locks you in for any other campaigns that will give you a work PC even if the job is completely different, perm or temp. I get an email later on to say that the Covid job MAY start now at the end of the month or COULD BE in June. That doesn't say there's a job there for definite after I was offered it with me signing forms etc accepting the role. I rang & emailed numerous times for someone to get back to me, it was like pulling teeth. Nobody got back to me to discuss the same. In the same email, I had another job pushed in front of me instead with a vague job spec for Student Loans through Teleperformance and was forced to make a choice. Did I want to wait for a job that may not come into fruition or go for the other job. I went for the other job in fear of being without a job altogether. No way did that job spec say how involved this campaign was. You had to be the font of all knowledge with in depth understanding of finance with regards students of all ages, Countries, backgrounds, plans, financial status etc wanting to go to University. It's a job you need to have had experience & have done before, but this was not explained. Of course I jumped on it as I was afraid of the other job not being there at all as to the way the email was worded, I thought I'd no choice. After 2 days on the student loans course, I thought I was going to have a brain tumour...it was so involved, intricate, complex (& I'm no dumb dumb) but even Einstein would've been struggling. They admitted it was 'quite complex'. All this for min wage & 40+ hours with unpaid Bank Hols you had to work with unpaid lunch/breaks (ahem..slave labour). I decided it wasn't for me after 2 days training & kindly removed myself so they didn't have to pay me for the full training with me not taking the job at the end of it. I asked if I could jump back onto the Covid job (which I was told I was able to do in the beginning) only to be told 'NO' as I'd passed the interview for the Student Loan job & it would only apply if I'd failed the interview. I was then told I could be re-hired but have to go through all the same old rubbish again of filling out forms, being re-interviewed etc which I was prepared to do. I tried to communicate with them & could never get the correct people who had hired me in the first place, & they & Teleperformance are now playing ping pong as to who is going to pay me the 2 days training I attended. I put off looking for other work for this job...and now left without a job through them who have basically washed their hands of me now & blotted my copybook with Teleperformance. I tried to jump on other campaigns with Teleperformance without going through Manpower, to no avail. I was told by Teleperformance that the Covid campaign was not active anyway. So it begs the question, why are Manpower hiring people for said job if it's not active? So after all that hard work, glowing references, over 20 years experience, having to pay for a new laptop, headphones & ethernet lead out of my own pocket whilst still on benefits (which they promised they were going to provide for the perm job, I have the email to prove it) going through every bloody background check known to man & downloading all the software on my laptop...I'm without a job & back on the job-hunt treadmill. Don't use them to find work as they don't communicate with you or the employers, they don't care & if they offer you a job, don't think it's written in stone as they pull the rug from underneath you with no regard & turn their back on you. What an unprofessional ball of poo they really are....STAY CLEAR!
I recently gave up on a Manpower homeworking role as the compliance checks and verification simply took too long. I started uploading the background documentation on April 29th and was still at it in mid June. Proposed start dates seemed to come and go and be forever pushed back into Narnia. In the end I simply had to get on with life as the ping-pong with the compliance checkers was the stuff of a Samuel Beckett play. The 'Congratulations' e-mail I originally received, after the webcam interview in April, now feels like one of those 1980s Readers Digest letters, do you remember them? Informing you you've WON a fortune only to discover you've merely been entered into a Prize Draw. Perhaps it is just a very long process I don't know. The assignment was for a High Street Bank but it was ponderously slow and nobody really seemed that bothered about getting you over the line or receiving the all important commission. Funny old world now to be honest, no real human contact just asynchronous messages via a desktop portal. No specific rejection either just "we'll come back to you" inertia and a wait which never ends. Hope you have better luck with them than I did. I'm getting way too old for this malarkey!
I started a new job and Manpower told me that they had closed my account and it "automatically" sends my P45 to the HMRC. As soon as I told them I was leaving they were completely unprofessional and down right rude.
After 2 weeks of no P45, I called them to be told that it's got nothing to do with them now and it's already been sent over.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited another 3 weeks and still no P45. I called and was ignored for a whole week of phone calls.
I eventually gave up and rang the HMRC who told me that they hadn't even sent it over to the HMRC to post out to me. So no wonder they were so reluctant to take my calls.
Just a completely unprofessional business, if you can steer clear from them then please do.
Manpower clearly don't like gay people. I had a call from them recently and I could tell right away the person on the phone was taken aback by me. He wasn't long in finding a way to end the call. It is disgusting that homophobia still exists in a working environment. I guess the clue is in their name.
Worked for them for a few months they didn’t pay me the right wage once and then got an attitude when you asked them for it , when I quit the didn’t take me off the payroll so I’d pay double tax in my new job , theirs a woman Hester if they fired her it would probably be alright but she is just terrible at her job.
Terrible company. Mis use and abuse of power.
