What a brilliant company. There was lots that needed fixing on my MacBook and they fixed as much as they could and kept me updated. Their communications were brilliant. I was very pleased with the work carried out.
I was a bit nervous sending off my laptop but I read the reviews and so felt safe sending it off.
A brilliant company and I would have no worries using them again.

I had a damaged MacBook Pro ( somehow kicked water over the keyboard), spent £60 on a train ticket to my nearest Apple Store only to be told “ the logic board is broke and it’s gonna be £1,549 to fix”. There’s no way I could afford that so came home resigned my MacBook was now a very expensive tray. Out of desperation I googled ‘ MacBook broken logic board’ and eFix popped up! Free diagnostics and shipping to them? Why the eff not?! What’s the worst that can happen right?! eFix got back to be within a couple of days and told me THE LOGIC BOARD WAS FINE ( just a bit of residue) and that there was an issue with the keyboard, a tiny trackpad issue and a backlight problem. They quoted me less than 1/3 to fix and send back to me. So yeah ofc I paid it!! Wtf Apple?! Y u lie to me?!

I just received it back ( super quick turn anround) and boom.. she’s a beauty again! They even gave her a good clean so my fingerprints aren’t all over the screen! AND THEY INCLUDED SOME SWEETS!

I had my MacBook Pro that was water damaged and had a broken LED screen fixed recently. I couldn't trust a company more with laptop repairs this is the second time I've went through eFix!

I had my MacBook Air repaired recently, I had a problem with the screen and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received from “efix” From the start, they performed a free diagnostic check, clearly explained cost of repair upfront. Throughout the entire process, I was kept in the loop with regular updates. The repair was done efficiently and professionally. Easy to post off with clear instructions and return via DPD. Great customer service all round, would definitely recommend to anyone in need of tech repairs.

Reece was very good in identifying the problem with my device and sorting this especially when Apple were quoting around £900 and claimed multiple components were damaged which turned out not to be the case. The turnover with repair and device being returned was very quick with Reece always available via email and was happy to help with any questions I had.

I would highly recommend using this company especially instead of going to apple.

Excellent service. Cannot overstate how transparent the process was from start to finish. Was told by Apple Store it was a logic board issue. Once received by eFix, they advised me it was a battery health issue. Very fast repair once diagnosed. Highly recommended to Apple customers.

M1 MacBook Pro 16” 2021 logic board failure, REPAIRED by eFix! It wouldn’t power on or do anything, it was a brick. I took it to Apple who informed me it was a logic board failure and there was nothing that could be done, my data was gone, and the cost to replace the logic board with a new one (as if a new machine as data is linked to the logic board) was £830, half the cost of a new similar spec machine (M4 MacBook Air 15” 2025). I found another company (DriveSavers) that might be able to recover the data, but they wanted to charge me between £1,155 and £2,400 to recover the data and also said there was no possibility of repairing the machine. Out of hope, and much searching, I found Reece from eFix at MacBook-Repairs.co.uk who said they were confident in being able to to FIX the logic board, something Apple and DriveSavers both said was impossible (as did many bloggers on the internet), and for only a fraction of the price! Reece delivered, and I am typing this on my MacBook Pro with it’s FIXED logic board, ALL data intact, I paid for an express service and was delighted to get my machine back within one week, FIXED for a very reasonable total of £320. Shame on Apple for just trying to sell me a new device. I was informed by eFix that this was a random failure, nothing I did to cause this (no liquid damage, etc). It is a pattern fault on these, but it is a problem which can affect any electronic device, old or new. They’ve even seen this happen on some of the late 2024 Mac models, which are at time of writing is less than 6 months old.

This is my second time using this company and honestly do not even bother going to Apple. Try these guys first. Top knowledge, super prices and top service. Thank you for saving my device second time.

Apple diagnosed my 3 year old Macbook Pro with a logic board failure and quoted me over £700 to fix/ replace it. V conveniently this was just 1 month out of warranty too and not covered by insurance either.

Reached out to eFix as they had fantastic reviews and they did not disappoint. They managed to repair the logic board with a very quick turnaround, great communication, and most importantly, a fraction of the price quoted by Apple.

My Mac was returned to me in perfect condition and I'm SO glad I didn't go directly through Apple. Would 100% recommend!

There was a coffee-spillage incident with my Macbook Pro... the keyboard was done for. I got in contact with the main man Reece for some good advice. Ended up sending the Macbook to him to get assessed and then repaired. Swift, efficient and reasonably priced. They managed to do a superb job bringing my machine back into play within a few days. A special mention should be made about the end-to-end delivery service that is included. I heartily recommend, but hope to never need them again!!

Excellent service and price. Considered doing the repair myself but the price was so good decided it was not worth the risk. All of the excellent reviews are entirely justified.

After spilling a tiny bit of coffee laced with honey, on my 2015 MacBook Pro keyboard it stopped functioning properly. Apple Support were no help.
I was at my wits end looking for somewhere to fix it for over a month, and other repair services also didn’t want to know either and we’re not interested as my Mac was nearly ten years old.
I finally found eFIX, who only specialises in fixing MacBooks; when I read their reviews from their customers, I decided that this was the company to fix my Mac; I was very wary about sending my computer via the post, I rang them and they said that the would send me pre-paid packaging which I could purchase on their website…Best decision that I have ever made!
They completely replaced the keyboard and tidied up other minor issues, the Liquid Damage / Water Recovery Service was £160, a price I am very happy

Does what it says on the tin: easy to send my macbook, quick excellent repair, macbook retuned in 100% working order for a reasonable price. Will definitely use them again if I damage it again.

Highly recommended - very speedy, and kept me updated regularly with the progress of the repair. They were also very thorough, and spotted a couple of additional issues unrelated to my original issue, which they offered to fix for a reduced price.

Had Macbook Air A1466 originally purchased Nov 2014 that was not powering on.

Contacted eFix (alias macbook-repairs) on 14 April 2025 and received an email with a label to post to them the same day for diagnostic test. eFix received the macbook by lunch on 15 April. Reported logic-board repair needed (£160 incl. VAT and shipping). Authorised end 15th April.

16:06 16th April eFix reported repair success and also offered to repair 2 worn key-caps for £5. Paid by end of day. Due to easter, return delayed until 22 April. Received back lunch 23 April.
