There are a bunch of "normal" ETFs that they don't support at all even though you can easily buy them at other brokerages.

Also the pie model won't let you put more than 100 stocks/ETFs in your pies (not just one pie) and you have to keep juggling you holdings to keep going.

Also I thought their M1 Plus thing was a one-time payment, but turns out you get charged every year, and it's a lot of money for not much -- seems to counter their "free commission" claims.

I would like to see a forum to communicate with friends, family, referrals, and other investors on the platform similar to Public. Also, a more comprehensive auto-invest to buy/sell at limit orders or percentages. Is there a way to link multiple external bank accounts. Other than that, I like the simple nature of the platform and the easy of connection between invest, spend, and borrow.

M1 smart money features is what I have been doing with my savings and investing. It makes it easier.

I'm not a fan of the new dashboard home screen. Maybe it's nice for the people who use a lot of the different features, but I'd rather it just open up to the investment page. Other than that, I really like the platform, and it's easy to use.

Unlike so many other brokers you need to wait untill 9 am and 3 pm to trade and most of the time you end up not getting the best prices during the day . This is most annoying . One good thing is now we can trade ADR but giving more flexibility will help

Fully automated investment platform. M1 is great for diversified portfolio investing for broadly available public securities. The DRIP programs make dividend reinvestments easy according to your pie setup. Transfers are quick, work well across the M1 ecosystem (borrow, credit, checking) which starts to become a fully efficient ecosystem in itself. Highly recommend!

I feel cheated because the borrow APR has increased but the spend APR remains unchanged for my premium membership.

Great service along with great products. The debit card and Owners credit cards are excellent products.

I think m1 is an easy platform to understand I just wish they had a dividend calendar or notifications for which dividends are coming and when even if it was only part of the subscription. Other than that platform is great for long term investing love the pie setup features and availability of basically everything etf,stocks and things of that nature.

Still a great platform, but please dump the robot login screening tool.

I kept emailing support the identity info and they never would tell me a specific reason the info I upload was rejected. They would just send the same message that it was rejected and which forms were correct, when they could've told me that the statement I uploaded couldn't be used, and this would've saved me some time to upload different documents the next time around.

I would like more automation, such as automatically transferring dividends to the M1spaend account.

I love how I have full control where you invest my money. Also the fact that this app is a one stop shop. I can open up many types of accounts to fit my needs.

M1 website is extremely easy to navigate and understand. As a new investor into the stock market, it has made the process not only financially rewarding but fascinating and enjoyable.
Couldn't be happier with my M1 experience.

So far really enjoying the experience so far. There are only a few things I would do to improve
Add the ability to pause or lock auto invest / sell on single investments
The ability to set end goals on single investments ie invest till 100 shares of xyz
To be able to see estimated income real time without having to wait for statements portfolio/ single stocks

I have been a customer since 2018. Have loved the value m1 brings to me the consumer. The only complaints are service efficiency and being trade restricted to two time windows (especially for those who use m1 borrow to invest). I emailed a question about margin to service over a week ago and have not gotten a response. I agree with the platform centering around long term wealth creation and preferring to stay away from day trading. However, to those that use m1 borrow to invest (which is encouraged by the company) not having the option to trade freely during the day adds unnecessary danger to customers unable to offload stocks in the case of big market moves like the ones we have been having recently. Huge moves are happening during the day and being so restricted on something that can end up being so ugly is, in my opinion, not a good situation. I would like to see more options for trading as well as more education resources and encouragement on wealth creation long term. Both strengthen the toolset of the customer.

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 4 OR 5 STARS WERE IT NOT FOR THE FACT THAT YOU FAILED TO EVEN RESPOND TO MY WRITTEN CONCERNS REGARDING THE ANNOYING AND EXCESSIVE SECURITY EXERCISES YOU FORCE ACCOUNT HOLDERS TO TRAVERSE EACH TIME THEY TRY TO ACCESS THEIR ACCOUNTS.

M1 finantial tool has been an excellent experience so far. I would recommend it 100% to everyone that is new in investments.
