Customer service and tech support are…

Customer service and tech support are slow to respond and can't get issues resolved in a timely manner. Tech support reps are hard to understand. Billing issues that are going over 3 weeks with no resolution.

Events requested to be removed take days to be moved out of the inbox. Constant issues with service disruptions - either cameras not connecting, website running slow, slow video uploads, live feed or browse videos freezing up, etc.

As a fedex contractor this is the…

As a fedex contractor this is the absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. They close tickets with no resolve and then put you off another 3-5 business days. Per fedex these trucks can’t run without a camera. I’d PAY good money to get out of this contract if I could just get anybody to pick up the damn phone. They won’t allow you to talk to management and as stated in other reviews have exactly zero urgency. It is the most dreadful part of being a fedex contractor.

NO Customer Service

Lytx customer service does not exist. I have made multiple attempts by email and phone for updates for shipment of new equipment that was ordered last year. I have sent emails that I want to cancel my account to only hear crickets.... NO RESPONSE. I just do not understand how a company operates like this.

Horrible Customer Service

Horrible Customer Service

Read and trust the other reviews. I have a spare camera that we have not had installed sitting on the shelf for like 6 months and finally installed it and it was not on my dashboard. So I call tech support and they say they can see it, but I can not. So they ask me to email Support and I did that, took over 20 days to get an email saying response times are taking longer than normal and someone will reach out and that was 6 days ago. They will lock you in a contract and then not support you after.

Save your time and money and go a different route than lytx.

Horrible Horrible Service. Don't do LYTX.

Bad service, Horrible customer service. Prepare to wait over an hour for a customer service representative to take your call. when they do, if they do, you will have the surprise of your lifetime; They don't know what you are talking about. they answer like robots and read answers of they cue cards. We were promised an Admin app to be able to track the flee on the run. That was a lie. that never happened. They have an app for drivers (reward points etc.) . If your considering purchasing their cameras for your fleet, be prepared to see invoicing errors, sales rep false claims, late follow ups, empty manager promises, shipment mistakes and character issues where no one takes responsibility and pushes you off to the next rep only to make more mistakes.
We stopped using the service and wanted to cancel. They refused because we have a contract. They want us to pay invoices generated after we stopped using their service and after we requested cancellation. they want a cancellation fee and 3400 in unjustified invoices. we are in the process of suing them.

PLEASE BEWARE.

This company is the worst

This company is the worst, like the majority of the reviews on here. They charge you for their device that doesnt work. I had a potential lawsuit and needed the video. We could not extract the video even with their techs trying remotely. They advised that they would send a tech out to swap out the recorder and take the old one to their headquarters to extract the video and that I would not be charged for it, since it was their product that malfunctioned. My business car was deadline for 2 months for this to take place. They actually were able to extract the video (the only thing they did right), and the potential lawsuit went away because of the video evidence (their attorney dropped them after watching the video). Now, many months later, Lytx is charging me $601.15 for an "unreturned event recorder". Eventhough I have an email from them when the recorder was being sent back, that I would not be charged for this situation. So, I guess they expect me to rip the recorder out of my car and mail it back to them and not have a camera in the car. Now even after sending them the email stating I would not be charged, they are saying a supervisor would have to review it to see if they can credit my account. Also, they go through employees very quickly because they obviously see how bad the company is being run. The attorney representing us also stated that he has never dealt with such an incompetent company and he is a very experienced attorney. I guess I need to call him to deal with this. I will be getting out of this contract once it is up. If you are thinking of using this company, run, run away fast. They are the worst at customer service and it's hit or miss getting videos. I predict they will not be in business much longer (once everyones contracts are up). I've been in business for 17 yrs and they literally the worst company I've ever had to deal with.

The worse customer service ever.

The worse customer service, ever. I am a FedEx contractor and I have to say Lytx lacks a sense of urgency when it comes to responding. No one takes responsibility and just pushes you off to another rep or recommends we send an email, still with no response. You are on hold for long periods of time. You offer empty commitments and no one follows through and then customer service gets upset with us when we call back and ask for some help and an explanation for their "care less attitude" for not offering any help. It's just awfully frustrating when customer service is where we are sent and this is the experience we get.

Horrible service

Horrible service! I have been with them for almost 5 years and I can not get out of my contract with them. They renew your contract automatically every year and when a device breaks, they force you to pay for it through the end of the contract you did not renew or acknowledge. Tried to get the device replaced with no luck. After asking how to terminate my contract when it ends, they told me I am billed month to month and I can stop anytime.... for a $3600 early termination fee. Never mind that it took me months of dealing with trying to locate a number for the company so I could finally talk to some one. All they want is to resolve everything with a online chat or an email that they just push to another person. Worst company I have ever dealt with!

Wow just wow horrible company to deal…

Wow just wow horrible company to deal with had a contract with them never came out to install them wanted to charge me to in stall in the contract says free install never did get installed so I canceled this several times after I did get it canceled now there trying to take me to court for the bill I never had there cameras installed you can’t get ahold of any one you leave a message and it’s never returned you email them and no return email wow just wow ya what an out fit DONT BUY lied said the paper I was signing was a price lock for the camera s it wasn’t vary vary shady company vary shady DONT BUY or SIGN ANY thing shame scam vary poor customer service no call back no email just billed me for something I never had or had installed never had it but they billed me then wanted to bill me for shipping the cameras huh how about NO not paying I never had your service I canceled it you refused to call me back or email me back in a timely manner just flat out refused to do anything so Iam not paying I didn’t have any service or your cameras in my cabs you never returned my calls No Iam not paying you a dime fare is fare then there Lawer sent me nasty emails after emails after emails threatening me if I didn’t pay they wer going take me to court lol Iam on soc security just wow just wow horrible horrible people sham scam not 1 phone call not 1 to me to work this out they just filed a court complaint against me never emailed me back I made at least 15 phone calls to them trying to work this out they plain out ignored me so I canceled it and now they wanna take me to court to bill me for a contract they didn’t adhere to wow just wow so you get to ignor me for months and months and now they got an attorney after I cancel wow just wow ok I hope everyone reads this and cancel there contracts to I called them probably 10 times to cancel they just played pass the phone around or it went to voice mail I’d leave messages NO call back I’d email them NO email back when I finally did get ahold of someone after months of playing games with me and canceled this to a 0 balance now there butt hurt and are going to take me to court like huh what?? Your company dropped the ball you never called me not once never emailed me back now cuz I won’t pay for something I never had to begin with now your going to call the Lawer huh did I miss something when u call customer service you eather get hung up on or they play pass the phone around to ignore you then you say I’ve had enough and they call an attorney to hall you into court to sue you like huh what??? Huh ??? Well good luck after I explain my case of how your company ignored me for months sent cameras I didn’t order and tryed to bill me for a service I never had cuz no one answered the phone or my emails

World’s worst customer service, Worlds most useless Video Telematics service

We started the Lytx program 2 years ago approximately sept 20 2020

We very much like the cameras.

The customer service of Lytx is the worst I have ever received in my entire life from any business.
Lytx is second to none in poor customer service

We purchased our cameras/ contract.
It took over 6 months to get most of our cameras installed and get us mostly operational.
To date 11/10/2022 we still have 2 cameras sitting in the office that have not been installed.
Lytx has given me 5 dates installers would be out to install them.

One time a installer did come out but installed one of the cameras in the wrong vehicle. Never has corrected the situation nor has anyone been out to complete the installations.
We had to have an outside audio store remove the camera that was installed in the wrong vehicle. It is still sitting in our office.

We have been paying our contract price for 2 years now for all of the cameras but 2 of them still not installed.

I get my insights report each month from Lytx, saying there is no behaviors.
Every month
Yet I have eaten and drank
to have no reports
I have been in the phone
to have none reported
Have had no seat belt on
to have no reports
Hard braking
no reports
Driven fast over RR track
with no reports
Speeding
with no reports.

I have called support and left over 30 messages and never received a call back still to date.

I have also actually got through to support 14 times and they have given me 9 different ticket numbers assuring me each time someone will contact me within 24 hours.
They have confirmed my email and phone number each time also.

I am still waiting.

Have left messages to try and find out if we can possibly install the cameras ourselves or better yet have our local audio store install them.
Again no responses as usual.

With the company growing I need the 2 cameras installed and setup.
As well we need a few more.

I can’t even get a return call to get more cameras.

I am now at the point of not paying my bill in hopes that a real person will contact us.
I guess that was just wishful thinking.

I now get emails with a bill from the collection department and even threatening to turn my cameras off till I pay in full.

I have so far in the last 45 days sent him 16 replies.
He will not respond to.
I have sent 22 text messages (not sure if the number accepts text messages).
Still no responses.
I have called both of the number I have for him 49 nine times now with no responses at all.

Tonight I reached another person in the collection dept. in hopes of getting a real person and resolution
To only be told she will forward the call to him.
I explained he doesn’t answer and I have left 49 messages already.

She transferred me anyway saying
“I know he is in now and he will help you out. If not leave a message so he can call back”
Again I told her he has 49 messages…please find me someone else that actually cares.

Now he has 50 messages.
Since she forwarded me to him anyway I have to take it that there is no one in Lytx that cares.

Again in the beginning, I do like the cameras. (Wish they where more clear) but I do still like the cameras.

Not sure if some of this is nothing more than me not knowing how to do some of this and am open to help.

But it does not excuse the poor customer service.
I am very much afraid this is probably going to end up with us canceling the Lytx service and we will try the service with our fuel provider WEX.

LYTX DASH/INCAB CAMERA IS GARBAGE

These incab/dash camera systems are JUNK!!
They go for every little tiny thing regardless to what the driver does, right or wrong...
STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNK!!

Sorry service and don't care

Customer service is without a doubt the worst of any company I have ever had to deal with in Trucking. As a FedEx contractor we have to deal with a CSM for FedEx and I have never had anyone blow you off, flat out refuse to return a call or even answer an email, this company is ridiculous. I'm in the middle of a serious situation in which I need to speak with a real person and yet no reply from the so called CSM person and have even tried calling her manger and still no reply go figure, if they would let me out of my contract I would be gone today. And before your little auto reply team sends a responce just save your time no one will call .................. sorry service

NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Customer support and service are "Hands Down" the worst. Easier to get service from China on Amazon. Waiting for an additional camera for months now. Takes 3-4 days to hear back from them; IF YOU DO.....utilize at your own risk. Camera systems are great. They need NEW MANAGEMENT OR OWNERS.

This company is the worst. As a FedEx contractor you must speak with client success team member which deals with FedEx only, well good luck I have never dealt with anyone who will not return an email a call or any type of help. I have been trying 3 weeks with no contact please stay away from Lytx is you except any type of support, you will not get it with this company!

!!DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!! Lytx is honestly the most DISGUSTING service we have ever had with fleet tracking. They are so backordered on equipment that we ordered cameras in April and were told that we would not get our shipment until NOVEMBER! To say that their customer service is subpar is an understatement. Their customer service is HORRENDOUS! They are essentially a fleet tracking company and can't even do the bare minimum. We call at least once a week and every time we are met with obstacle after obstacle. We constantly have issues retrieving footage, tracking the vehicles, adjusting settings, etc. Their server goes down ALL THE TIME. Not only that but if you submit a case, it goes into a queue for months and months. I have called several times asking to speak to a high level manager that can assist me or for an account executive, and every time I am told "someone will contact you, there's nothing else that we can do".....this specific case has been open for 75 days and still no call. Once our cameras come out of contract, we have been slowly rolling them over to another company. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!

ABSOLUTE WORST WORST WORST company

ABSOLUTE WORST WORST WORST company I have ever dealt with period. They make it impossible to speak to somone that will help you. All they do is make cases and than you have to wait with typically no resolution. They claim that there devices can read fuel mileage and track codes, yet they don't support ford f350 or sprinter vans. Next issue is if you want a device they are like 6 months out. Come on stock some devices for god sake
