Unroadworthy vehicle and unjustified extra charges
I cannot recommend this rental based on my experience.
The vehicle I received was in poor maintenance condition. The regular service interval had been significantly exceeded, and the cabin air filter was soaked with moisture. As a result, the windshield repeatedly fogged up from the inside, even with maximum airflow and the air conditioning set to 29 °C. Additionally, it was practically impossible to heat the interior properly. With outside temperatures around 2 °C, this is a safety and usability issue that should not occur with a professional rental company.
On top of that, I was charged a “late fee” of 28 EUR, even though I returned the car at 23:30 — more than 10 hours before the contractual end of the rental period. There is no factual or contractual basis for this charge.
What ultimately made the experience worse was the reaction of the staff when I raised these concerns. Instead of addressing the issues professionally, I was met with a shrug and a smirking remark suggesting that I should “complain to customer service.”
I am fully willing to pay for services properly rendered — but I also expect a roadworthy vehicle, correct billing, and professional conduct. Unfortunately, this was not the case here.

The vehicle’s service indication was explained in advance as relating to an upcoming scheduled service and not a technical defect affecting safe operation. We would also like to clarify that the applied fee was not due to a late return of the vehicle, but because the return was handled outside the office’s official working hours.
After you raised your concerns, the case was escalated to the relevant departments for internal review. In our direct communication with you, all points were addressed and appropriate compensation was provided as a goodwill gesture. All aspects of your feedback were carefully evaluated in line with our internal procedures. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

הרכב היה חדש ונקי, תהליך קבלת הרכב והחזרתו בדלפק היה יחסית EUROמהיר, גם בדיקת הרכב ושחרור מכרטיס האשראי 400
הדבר היחיד שלא היה בסדר זו המתנה של יותר מחצי שעה בקור בחוץ להסעה למגרש המכוניות כשהנציג דיבר על 10-15 דקות וגם זה לאחר טלפון נוסף ממני למשרדים בכל אופן תודה לצוות ולשירות.

I am not going to claim the car was…
I am not going to claim the car was pristine as it was quite high mileage but .... it did everything well .. pick up and drop off was reasonably efficient (no matter who you rent from car rental documentation seems to be stuck in the pre tech age) and transfer to/from the car depot (Sofia Airport) was quick.
For the price it was very good

18 Euro cleaning Offer = Scam
Easy transfer from the airport outside Sofia T2, but only one guy on the desk so took far longer than it should have done. Brand new car so a bonus, downside is the 18 Euro ‘offer’ that they have to clean the car, which if you don’t take could be 36 Euro if it’s not upto their standard. At 22:00 at night what do you do? You certainly don’t clean the car before you get there as the road to the car centre is under a metre of muddy water so the car is unlikely to be clean unless you clean it yourself outside the gate. Have used these quite a lot over the years but this left a bad taste and probably won’t use them again.

We would like to clarify that the car wash fee is not mandatory - it is an optional service created for our customers’ convenience. As is standard in the global car rental industry, vehicles should be returned in the same condition as they were received. This ensures fairness for all clients and helps us maintain high operational standards.
The difference with us is that we offer flexibility - if you choose the car wash service in advance, you can return the car without washing it yourself. If you prefer not to use this service, no fee will be charged, but the car must be returned clean.
Regarding the €36 fee, please note that the requirement to return the vehicle clean has always been part of our rental agreement and is not a new rule. If a vehicle is returned dirty or not properly cleaned (for example, with insect residues on the exterior), an additional cleaning fee may apply according to our official price list.
