Zachary is having a great experience with Loves Football. The sessions have greatly helped with his confidence and built up his ability to work as a team. The coaches are fantastic and provide a fun, interactive environment, incorporating football skills in an enjoyable way where Zachary is laughing and learning !! James has created a fabulous club where all the children are learning, playing and growing their skills. A Great club which is fun, very well organised and has a great coaching team that is knowledgeable and dedicated to all its members. Highly recommend Loves Football, its a professional, very friendly and fun club.

Absolutely amazing team – wouldn’t trust anyone else! I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the whole team at Love’s Football for another amazing holiday camp, and especially to Shak and Conrad.

I’ve used Love’s Football every time the camp has been available during the school holidays, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else more with my son. As a neurodivergent child, it means so much to me to know that he is somewhere he is understood, supported and genuinely included.

I know my child can sometimes be a little challenging, but the effort the whole team makes to keep him involved, included and feeling like part of the camp has honestly meant so much to me. The patience, understanding and effort they show him is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

As always, my son has had an absolute blast, and we’ve had such a positive experience every single time. I will continue using Love’s whenever the camp is available — I genuinely wouldn’t want him anywhere else.

My son is attending the Loves Football summer camp. He usually finds it really hard to settle into new places and difficult to interact with new people. I am so happy how well he has settled in. The first few days were tricky but the coaches were so understanding. He is now excited to attend and doesn’t stop talking about it. This is down to the amazing coaches!! They picked up on my child’s anxiety and went above and beyond to make him comfortable and included. The coaches have also kept me fully updated with how he has been each day, which puts my mind at rest. My son has asked to join the Saturday sessions when he is back at school which is definitely a shock compared to a few weeks ago. He seems to have really bonded with everyone and I am so glad we found Loves Football!

My little brother has been attending for 3 weeks in the summer holidays and has had an amazing time. Lovely activity for the kids in the holidays. Staff are lovely and can’t thank them enough

Poor supervision, self-protective management, and failure in duty of care
​I am leaving this review so other parents can make an informed decision before booking with Loves Football in Birmingham.
​Our two sons (ages 6 and 9) attended their holiday camp. On the second day, our 6-year-old son was removed from the camp following an incident on the pitch. While management claimed our son used inappropriate language, they completely ignored the context—including the fact that our 6-year-old was physically kicked and racially targeted with specific slurs ("Temu guy" and "white monkey") first, which his older brother witnessed on the pitch.
​As an immigrant family where English is not spoken at home, our 6-year-old had never heard these niche English playground slurs in his life—he was simply repeating the exact verbal abuse hurled at him while unsupervised.
​Key concerns for parents:
​Lack of On-Pitch Supervision: Staff failed to properly monitor activities, completely missing the physical aggression and peer-on-peer slurs directed at a 6-year-old.
​Self-Protective Management: Lead coach James was not present on-site at pick-up to address us face-to-face. Management showed zero genuine concern for what our 6-year-old child experienced, operating purely to protect themselves and deflect blame onto a young child.
​Deleting Negative Feedback: Please note that negative comments and feedback are actively removed across their online platforms to mask bad experiences from prospective parents.
​Refusal of Full Refund: Despite failing to provide a safe, well-supervised environment, management refused to issue a full refund.
​We have formally escalated this incident to the Birmingham County FA Safeguarding Team. Look elsewhere if you expect proper supervision and a business that prioritizes child welfare over protecting its own reputation.

My son has just turned 4 and started at loves football they are amazing! Very efficient and make it fun for them to enjoy they take time and patience to guide the children into learning and developing in their own time.

Very slick and professional, with excellent structured coaching sessions. Focused on both development and fun, meaning my son is improving as a footballer and person. Highly recommend

My son has been with Loves Football since he was 6 (and he is 10now!) and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. It’s been amazing for building his confidence, not just his skills.

James really stands out—he knows every child (and parent!) by name, which makes such a difference. The whole team are brilliant with the boys, really engaging, supportive, and great role models.

Brilliant and fun football environment for my 6 year old son and his 5 year old friend. Joinedin the middle of winter and the boys have enjoyed every weekend they have come for training. Coaches have good balance between challenging the children and also allowing them to grow at a rate that keeps them enjoying football.

Yanis has been going for while now . What started with one session a week is now two sessions a week . Did not take long for him to agree to another session. He is always looking forward to go to his training .. he would not miss it .. thanks to the team and I would highly recommend.. thanks to the team for the support they show to the kids ..

Loves football is Absolutely Fantastic! Salahuddin has been going for over 3 years now and absolutely Loves it! I have seen him go from a quiet boy to a very confident boy who is now a very skilful footballer and loves to challenge himself,all thanks to Loves Football. No matter what the weather🌧️❄️ or how he is feeling every Saturday morning he is ready to go. The coaches show great motivation and encouragement to all the kids and make it a fun and exciting place to be. James is an amazing coach, keeps you up to date with everything happening, very understanding and supportive. Stumbling across Loves football when I couldn’t find the right place for my son to play football was the best decision I made! I would highly recommend Loves Football to anybody! Very organised sessions to suit every child with highly skilled coaches it offers a safe and friendly environment for kids!

Loves Football has been a brilliant experience for my son. He was initially a bit shy and unsure of himself, coming to football at the relatively late age (!) of 10 years old, but it was exactly the right kind of nurturing environment he needed and his skills and confidence are off the chart now, nearly 5 years later, which will have given him the ability to play and enjoy football for life. The ethos and coaching style of the organisation puts kids’ development in a supportive way front and centre. There’s no yelling on the sidelines here. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Absolutely fabulous football coaching. Loves Football is run so well; it is very welcoming and inclusive, the communication is great, and the coaches really bring out the best in the kids — encouraging good values (teamwork, leadership, kindness, sportsmanship etc). Kids evidently love coming here every week, whatever the weather. The facilities are fantastic (3G pitches) and there is ample parking. We have tried a few other clubs in the city, and Loves Football is by far the best. The boys have more time with the ball because the group sizes aren’t excessive, as you may find in other clubs. What I love about it also is that there are no parents coaching from the sidelines, shouting at the kids. It truly is a wonderful and friendly club.

Fraser has been training with Loves Football since 2022 and his confidence and level of ability have both grown MASSIVELY during this time. He is always positive about the sessions, which are perfect for him as a child who isn't in a team at school and just likes to play because he enjoys it. James and the coaches create a friendly, energetic and encouraging atmosphere for all the children. Loves Football is definitely the best choice if you're looking for a pressure-free and fun environment for your child to play football!
