Das Personal erwartet völlige Stille und ist unfreundlich. Schade!

Mein Freund und ich wollten bei diesem Unternehmen spontan eine Rundfahrt machen um einen ersten Eindruck von Amsterdam zu gewinnen.
Leider schreibt das Unternehmen Lovers Canal Cruise ausschließlich Zahlung per Karte vor und macht eine Barzahlung unmöglich. Sie lehnten unser angebotenes Bargeld ab ohne darauf hinzuweisen, dass 15 Meter weiter auf dem Steg ein anderer Anbieter von Grachtenfahrten sehr wohl Bargeld akzeptiert.
Auf unserer erstes Unverständnis, warum sie wirklich ausschließlich Kartenzahlung akzeptieren, reagierten sie unfreundlich.
Absolut unprofessionel und ärgerlich und sehr schade, dass immer mehr Zwang entsteht auf Bargeld verzichten zu sollen.

Ik heb een kaartje gekregen voor mijn 80 ste verjaardag ik werd zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam ontvangen op boot door Omar en Ivanna, de sfeer was geweldig die twee waren zo gastvrij, betrokken en lief voor de gasten maar vooral voor mij. Speciaal voor mij omdat ik niet goed Engels kan verstaanmocht ik naast de kaptein zitten die heel lief sommige dingen vertaalde voor me , ook ivana was erg lief voor me . Die twee waren helemaal op elkaar afgestemd, vrolijk en maakte tijdens de informatie veel leuke grappen, kortom ik heb genoten

Just horrendous, disgraceful and reckless behaviour from the captain, good god how does he have a job! He is nothing but a bully and needs to be dismissed. Choose another company to see Amsterdam with.

Very disappointing experience with Lovers Canal Cruises.
We were instructed by their staff to purchase tickets online, only to find out immediately afterwards that all cruises for the day were already fully booked. This means they continued selling tickets for a service they were not actually able to provide.
We contacted them within minutes to request a refund, but instead of taking responsibility, customer service tried to avoid reimbursing us. Extremely poor organization and disappointing customer care.
A professional company should not sell unavailable services and then refuse to properly resolve the issue. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.

I bought two tickets to the Body Worlds museum and accidentally bought the package with the canal cruise. I immediately contacted their chat agent about a refund for the canal cruise and was told that I would have to email them for a refund. I did that and got contacted 5 days later and was told that I could only cancel up to 8 hours ahead of time. So much for customer service. This company is a rip-off

No recomiendo esta empresa ni para una reserva menor. Solicité la devolución con antelación y por una causa totalmente justificada: alertas meteorológicas graves en Ámsterdam, suspensión de transportes y advertencias de la propia aerolínea recomendando no volar. No fue un capricho ni un cambio de opinión de última hora. En un contexto así, cualquier empresa seria habría gestionado la situación con responsabilidad; aquí hicieron exactamente lo contrario.
La atención al cliente fue un esperpento. No hubo ayuda, no hubo criterio y no hubo nadie al otro lado con intención real de resolver nada. Solo un chatbot inútil, repetitivo y desesperante, diseñado para marearte con el mismo mensaje una y otra vez mientras los correos quedaban sin respuesta. La sensación final es la de una empresa opaca, cobarde en la gestión y totalmente indiferente cuando ya ha cobrado. Después de esta experiencia, mi consejo es muy claro: no adelanten dinero a esta compañía y reserven con cualquier competidor más serio, porque cuando surge un problema aquí solo encontrarán silencio, bloqueo y una tomadura de pelo. NO ADELANTE SU DINERO,

Slechtste avondrondvaart ooit. Ongeïnteresseerde kapitein die geen woord zegt. Uitleg via oortjes/koptelefoon met ingesproken tekst vol sluierreclame. Terwijl je langs schitterende gebouwen vaart als het Scheepvaarthuis gaat het over het drijvende Chinese restaurant. Pure reclame. En dat gebeurt voortdurend. Slecht zicht omdat de bovenkanten van de boot van dof mat glas of kunststof zijn. En dat terwijl je naar de gevels wilt kijken. Tekst via de oortjes verspringt steeds in een andere taal. We waren al na 53 minuten terug, hij voer ook niet synchroon met de tekst via de oortjes want hij wilde het gewoon snel afraffelen. Kortom alles waardeloos!

1 ster is zelfs te veel. Lovers boat maar je kan niet eens naast elkaar zitten, trekt op niks.

The tour itself was fine, nothing too special or memorable and it was just a guided tour where u look out of the window and listen to a headset. There was an extremely rude middle aged lady (dark hair in ponytail)in the lovers cruise cafe. We went into the cafe which was totally empty after our night cruise tour to put our bag down to find something. she immediately told us to leave if we weren’t waiting for a boat even when we said we just finished our canal tour. Even if we weren’t allowed to be in the cafe she could have told us nicely. I guess she knew that was being super rude because she refused to give us her name.

Ga NOOIT een rondvaart maken als het regent: beslagen ramen waarbij je met een ramenwisser mag proberen het raam condensvrij te maken....lukt niet! Zonde van je geld!

Around Christmas we go with 6 people
In a rush I bought 7 tickets .at the office across the trainstation in Amsterdam.
And immediately realized I made I mistake ..I bought 1 ticket to much..
When I tell the lady who sold me the ticket right there she said you can get a refund by submitting a email with the details..she also gonna send a email.
After one week no refund I ask them about it. They said they will not refund..
It's not about the money it's about the treatment..
They don't deserve a good review on my point a view I got scammed.

Ha. Would not recommend. Instructions said to arrive 5 mins before departure. We arrived 15 mins before and were placed on an already full boat. We were 6 people who were split up. We paid for a 75-100 min cruise and only did a 60 min cruise. We asked the ataff after boarding if we could please get on the following boat because this was booked for the purpose of 6 people sitting together. They said that they are fully booked. Checking immediately online, I could see the next cruise still had 46 tickets available. I sat next to a couple who were trying to have a romantic cruise and they kept unplugging my virtual tour earphones (potentially accidentally, but repeatedly). Do yourself a favour and walk the short route instead of doing the cruise. Not meant for locals. It is like buying a stroopwaffel in Amsterdam Centrum. It's a tourist trap. Just DIY.

De boot vertrok bijna een uur te laat.
Daarna de lichtjestocht door de kanalen, met een wellicht zwakbegaafde of onder invloed verkerende schipper wie dacht de leukste te zijn met continu kinderachtige "grappen" en veel gejoel.
Ook bijzonder hoe die man bezienswaardigheden in zijn eigen stad kleineerde.
Mijn zoon en ik waren blij toen die toer weer afgelopen was.

Met een groep van 12, leuk varen in Amsterdam! Teleurstelling omdat meneer de "kapitein" als snel stond te schreeuwen aan onze tafel. De jongens van 5 en 7 liepen een paar keer van en naar buiten. En dat mocht dus niet. Hij had ons op een gewone toon kunnen zeggen dat ze moesten blijven zitten. Geen probleem maar van een schreeuwende "kapitein" die direct ook dreigt ons van boord te zetten kan je een reactie verwachten. Uiteindelijk konden de huilende jongens met papa van boord stappen. Wat een droeftoeter die man. Al met al een teleurstellende dag voor de kinderen

Om eens te ervaren hoe het is om het Amsterdam Light Festival met een boot te doen, boekten we bij Lovers. Wat een deceptie. We zaten aan een raam dat volledig beslagen was. Dus we zagen geen moer. Fijn hoor. De boot mudvol, dus verplaatsen was geen optie. Bovendien zat één van ons tegen de vaarrichting in, kun je beter niet doen.

Een hele slechte rondvaart. In de boot van LOVERS stond de muziek veel te hard. Leek wel een party-boot en dat kan niet de bedoeling zijn. Verder een hele vervelende “ stuurman = kapitein “, die zichzelf kennelijk erg grappig vond. Met een hoog gehalte van zelfdoening vertellen dat hij twee weken nog maar aan het varen was; of je wel een zwemdiploma had, want onvoldoende zwemvesten ( en dan lachen ) en te populair doen alsof je een vriend bent van hem en uiteindelijk NIET vertellen op welke grachten je aan het varen bent. Kortom, zonde van mijn geld en NIET doen is mijn advies.

Light-tour vanaf Rijksmuseum.
Beschrijving wekte vals verwachtingen. De verwarmde boot bleek ijskoud, de ramen besloegen. Ik had het me anders voorgesteld, een echte teleurstelling!

We booked a cruise with the 5 of us in the family. We got on a random boat last and we couldn't sit together because of a the groups of 2 and 3 boarding first, the staff didn't help assign seats at all.... I asked the staff if they could assist but they refused rudely quote "you bought tickets but not seats and i don't care". Pretty disappointing to book a cruise two months in advance to spend time with family visiting from abroad and sitting with strangers instead on Christmas.
