Mi experiencia con Londonist United Students en Lemon Street, Londres, ha sido francamente decepcionante y, desde el primer día, tuve problemas.
Al llegar al alojamiento, la cocina del piso compartido estaba en unas condiciones de limpieza lamentables: había suciedad abundante, moscas por todas partes e incluso larvas de mosca. Me parece especialmente grave teniendo en cuenta que, antes de llegar, se ofrece el alojamiento como preparado y en buenas condiciones para recibir al estudiante.
Además, había contratado un pack de ropa de cama y toallas. Al llegar únicamente disponía de la ropa de cama y tuve que esperar cuatro días para recibir las toallas.
Respecto a la limpieza de la cocina, tuve que esperar una semana hasta que finalmente acudieron a limpiarla. La respuesta que recibí fue que el problema no era responsabilidad de la agencia. Sin embargo, considero que, si se ofrece un alojamiento preparado para la llegada de los estudiantes, las zonas comunes deberían encontrarse limpias y en condiciones desde el primer día.
Y lo que considero más grave es el problema con la devolución de la fianza. Solicité la devolución el 8 de julio, dejando la habitación correctamente y sin ningún problema. A día de hoy, 2 de septiembre, sigo sin haber recibido el dinero. He intentado contactar con ellos en numerosas ocasiones y, lo más frustrante, es que no recibo respuesta.
Entiendo que puedan surgir problemas durante una estancia, pero lo que me parece inaceptable es la falta de respuesta y de soluciones, especialmente cuando se trata de la devolución de una cantidad de dinero que corresponde al estudiante.
Después de mi experiencia, no recomendaría United Students ni este alojamiento a otras personas que vayan a Londres. Antes de reservar, recomiendo informarse muy bien y tener en cuenta que la experiencia real puede distar bastante de lo que se ofrece inicialmente.

Siempre nos esforzamos por atender las necesidades de nuestros estudiantes y no queremos que ninguno tenga que enfrentarse a este tipo de situaciones. Agradecemos que hayas compartido tus comentarios, ya que nos ayudan a identificar aspectos que podemos mejorar.
En cuanto al reembolso del depósito, debido al alto volumen de solicitudes, el proceso puede tardar un poco más de lo esperado. Sin embargo, tu reembolso será procesado y lo recibirás una vez que se complete el proceso.

Location is very nice
Location is very nice, transportation is easy, safe area. We are happy to choose this location.
I have to mention about Can from londonist who served very kindly supported and replied whatever ı need to know.
However we had few difficulties during payment process. After my first inquiry, they were willing to resolve issues. Now all payment done :) .
Next time when i need to book a room via londonist, i got experience how i should move further.

Me quedé en Paddington Citi View. Luego de tres meses desde que dejé la habitación al fin recibi el reembolso del Security deposit. Esto me lleva a editar mi comentario y evaluación anterior. Si bien esperé mucho tiempo sin obtener una espuesta, quisiera destacar la atención de Mohammed, quien al principio y al final del proceso fue responsable y cordial conmigo.
Aunque mantengo como aspectos negativos que no fueron consideradas mis sugerencias de habitación, la silla de mi cuarto sólo tenía dos tornillos (le faltaban otros dos) y la comunicación con otros agentes no fue la mejor.

The room was not cleaned when I…
The room was not cleaned when I arrived, despite my insistence and wait. I was told that the room was cleaned but it was in an awful state when I arrived. The bathroom also smelled badly and was clogged. I had to clean the whole room myself!

I have booked 2 times with londonist…
I have booked 2 times with londonist now and I can say that I am really pleased with the communication with Khawaja, who happened to help me both times. He is incredible, very patient and always tried to solve any inconvenience that came up. I have no complaints, costumer service is 10/10.
The only issues I faced where firstly, in my initial booking they forgot to give me a package of necessities I paid for from the start, which cost me extra money in order to settle in, but with the help of Khawaja it was resolved days later.
My second complaint was that they did not send the first deposit back, but again they used the same one for my second booking, which was nice. I had trouble contacting them for that one though.
Other than that my experience was very good and I will come back again and again in the future if need be.
