Location were very efficient and helpful in providing a vehicle that would suit our needs for a wonderful week in Tuscany. An easy walk from the station in Firenze, there were no issues, plus there pricing was much better than the larger competitors.

Be careful with the time
We tried to contact them around 7 pm and they didn't answer. We arrived at 7:02 pm and there was no one at reception, and we had to pay a €20 fine for the delay. They didn't give us an invoice for that amount. And we saw that in fact there was still a company employee arriving at the garage with other customers, so they could have received the car.
A way for them to make money unfairly.

Hello Susana, thank you for sharing your experience with Locauto and for giving us the chance to explain the charge.
The parking garage in the city of Florence gives our vehicles free access during our working hours (8.30 am - 7 pm). Later than this time it's still possible to drop off our vehicle but the customer has to pay an "out of hour" fee to the garage, that will collect the key and the car.
Since you were late, even for a few minutes, you had to pay the out of hour access to the garage. You can check the rental agreement that has been sent by email where it's explained about the out of hour charge.

Bon accueil et Service conforme
Bon accueil et prise en charge dans l'agence ainsi qu'au garage pour le remise du véhicule qui été propre et en bon état général. Véhicule différent de celui réservé mais équivalent.
Le point désagréable est la difficulté de trouver son chemin pour retourner au garage malgré le GPS sans éviter de rentrer en ZTL.

buy I it was difficult to find the place to give back the car in Fumicino, this was the only bad experience.

Worst customer service
I had a very frustrating experience with Locauto.
I returned the car almost a month ago, and I’m still unable to pay for the reported damages — not because I don’t want to, but because it has been impossible to get in touch with anyone who can actually help me complete the payment. And they do know my insurance coverage is about to expire.
I have tried contacting them through every available channel: phone, chat, web forms, and email — and received no meaningful response.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to be very cautious when dealing with this company. Customer support is essentially non-existent when you actually need it.
