Utterly appalling experience with LMC Cars. I would strongly advise caution before dealing with this company.

We purchased a vehicle remotely through Cazoo and experienced serious issues with transparency, communication, vehicle condition, and customer service throughout.

One of the main issues was a £199 administration fee, which was not clearly disclosed through the Cazoo advert or purchase journey. We had already paid a £199 reservation fee, which LMC repeatedly confirmed in writing would come off the total purchase price. However, after the full funds had been paid, LMC then claimed the £199 was actually an administration fee and not a deduction from the purchase price.

When challenged, LMC said the fee was shown on their own website, but this does not address the issue. We purchased the vehicle through Cazoo, not directly through LMC’s website, and the fee was not detailed on the Cazoo advert or purchase journey. LMC would not confirm that the fee had been disclosed to us through Cazoo before payment was made.

Despite all requested funds being paid, including the disputed fee and delivery fee, LMC attempted to pull out of the transaction rather than properly address the complaint. This was particularly shocking given that the broker confirmed that, because all funds had been paid, LMC were required to proceed and the finance company was now the owner of the vehicle. The broker also confirmed to us that LMC should have informed us of the £199 fee because we were not taking their finance, but they failed to do so.

The issues did not stop there. As this was a long-distance purchase, we specifically asked about the condition of the car and were told in writing that there were no obvious scratches. This was completely inaccurate. When the vehicle arrived, there were obvious scratches throughout and a cigarette burn on the seat.

We were also promised in writing that the vehicle would be professionally cleaned and that a mark on the back seat would be removed before delivery. This was not done. The vehicle arrived dirty, with mud inside, Rizla left in the car, a receipt left behind, and the mark still present.

In my opinion, the service, communication, transparency, and overall handling of this sale were utterly appalling. The situation caused unnecessary stress, delay, and inconvenience, and the condition of the car on arrival was nowhere near what had been represented to us.

They did respond to this complaint claiming I was abusive, this is completely untrue. During the whole process even given the circumstances all of my communication remained professional. They also reported this review as defamatory which was rejected by TrustPilot.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend LMC Cars and I would strongly suggest that you review all the Google and TrustPilot reviews before proceeding. Its clear they are not to be trusted.

Do not bother with a warranty, they advertise that the audio is covered, but the warranty company say it isn’t,
and despite promising at point of sale that the radio would be repaired after she bought the car, they have now wriggled their way out of it.
Sad reflection on customer service, so save your money and don’t bother with a warranty.

What a total joke.Here is the hilarious part: I checked the live DVLA database. The car was actively TAXED the exact same day they claimed it was a dead piece of metal. You don’t tax a car with a blown engine. They got greedy, secretly sold my car to a higher bidder from under my feet, and invented a fake mechanical fault because they thought I was stupid enough to just take a refund and walk away.A guy named William then emailed me trying to salvage the lie, claiming the car was "returned to the supplier." Another absolute corporate fairy tale exposed by the live DVLA tax disc. You don't return a rejected, broken car to a trade supplier by taxing it for public road use!They are so desperate to cover their tracks that they are practically begging for my card details to issue a silent refund and bury the evidence. Too late. I’ve already found other reviews showing they use this exact same "blown engine" trick on other buyers. It’s a systemic, fraudulent pattern of trading.I dare the management to reply to this review with the name of the garage and a copy of the diagnostic report. You won't, because it doesn't exist. You got caught red-handed.Enjoy the formal Letter Before Action currently sitting in your inbox. I am taking LMC CARS LTD straight to the County Court for a full £6,000 lawsuit for Breach of Contract and Loss of Bargain, alongside a comprehensive fraud report to Trading Standards.See you in court, boys. Can’t beat them

Purchased the vehicle on PCP, noticed a sensor fault on the vehicle when it arrived. Warranty didn’t cover this apparently, had to liaise back with the salesperson who finally managed to sort this and get most of the cost for fixing covered, was surprised this wouldn’t have been included? Haven’t had my VC5 yet so having to chase this also (2 months since I’ve had vehicle). Love the car, would have hoped the first couple of months had been trouble free though!

Warning - please read first if paying straight out for a vehicle.
I purchased an Electric car on friday 29th May, and had the invoice stating that i had paid the full amount, part was paid through bank transfer and delivery and admin paid by Visa debit. i spoke to a guy call Will at first, and he told me the car went for an MOT on that day, he also arranging the delivery for friday 5th june, Great all going smoothly. The next day the 30th, i get a phone call at 4.50pm and a guy called Yusuf said that i could not have the car because they had charged the ev battery and it had dropped from 90% down to 18% overnight . I was absolutely gutted, and we agreed that because of the bank holiday weekend, he would charge it again and let me know on Tuesday 2nd June with an update. Meanwhile i checked the tax and insurance status of the car and low and behold it was taxed and insured to someone else on the same day as i purchased it. So Yusuf was lying, they had sold from under me, i can only assume that someone was paying with finance, and they would get a better profit margin. I waited till Tuesday for a phone call, but in the end i rang them in the afternoon. Yusuf said im very sorry but its still faulty, again a bare faced lie, but could not complain till now because i had to get a refund. Now this is where the trouble started, trying to get the refund of both payments. after 3 or 4 days i had the bank transfer back, but not the debit card payment, so i kept sending messages to Yusuf and he told me it would take longer as it was a card payment. I now have the card payment back after 2 weeks of waiting, and i put that down to my last message stating i had contacted my bank and visa to open a dispute. So i don't believe they are at all honest, so please be aware if you pay outright for your vehicle, please be cautious of this company.

After a few problems and getting disappointed eventually LMC did contact me and got my issues sorted.. now I'm very happy with my new car 🚗

Service was good, purchasing the car was good William was fantastic no issues with him at all. Just after care service, I remember having a couple of questions and whoever answered the phone was just rude and didn’t care, or even find a solution. Personally would expect better especially when your spending a lot of money.

Stay well aware really rude staff doesn’t want to help with anything ignores you sold us a broken car to a heavily pregnant woman these are frauds don’t buy from these
