Pretty sure they are stealing money from people and scamming them. Not fulfilling orders ignoring emails for months on end. Since March I am yet to receive a response. If anyone asks anything on their social media they delete the comments so anyone new finding them doesn’t see what an absolute shambles of a company taking people money and not fulfilling orders.

Do not buy from this company!!!

I purchased a pre order in October 2023 with the promised shipment date for April 2024. It is now June 2026 and still have not received the book. I have emailed the company 8 times over the past three years and gotten a generic copy and paste reply only twice. They legitimately need to be shut down like i don't understand how this company is still operational? THREE YEARS and still no book? Unreachable customer service? On the website it just says its "up for next fulfilment" but other orders and books are getting sent out first? How can it take three years to post a god damned book to paying customers? The worst company and worst service i've ever come across.

I'd give them a zero but that's not possible so I give them a 1.

I preordered the Penn Cole set from them in November 2024. Since then there has been zero movement on their end for books that were supposed to be in my hand by May 2025. I don't mind a delay for quality assurance purposes (I'm a reasonable gal) but it's been a year and a half since I preordered these books and I've heard not a peep. They haven't reached out with anything - not an apology, not a reassurance, not even a half ass attempt at an excuse. Any updates I want I have to go to their website and try to parse out their infuriating updates page which doesn't actually provide you with any reassurance.

I'm not convinced this is an actual company. Maybe a hobby on the side? Maybe a complete scam? Either way, my money is long gone and I really don't think I'll ever see these books, which is a disappointment. I barely remember what they look like at this point though I'm sure they're gorgeous. Either way, Lithaven Botique cannot be a legitimate company and I would advise any booklovers to stay far away from them.

Have been waiting two years for a book. company continues to release new preorder books and does not provide accurate shipping timelines, does not respond to customer inquiries just tells you to cancel if you don’t want to wait. Books that have been released much later than others are shipped out first. Shipping updates are generic and not accurate.

Their customer service is basically nonexistent. Their overall management of their products is abysmal.
I ordered Blood of Hercules in march 2025 with an expected deliver of October 2025. I just received it april 2026. Currently I'm STILL waiting on a preorder for Anathema which I ordered October 2024 with an expected delivery of march 2025. Its nearly May 2026 and still no book. The only thing they offer are vague updates on their shipping faq page. Truly you can find so many book sites that are worth the money and are on time with the same quality product. I would warn potential customers to think twice before jumping into a purchase with lit haven.

Purchased preorder bookset Nov 2024 with a promised shipping date of May 2025. Excessive delays and still not shipped (currently april 2026). Merchant is unresponsive to refund requests via their email despite my emails since November 2025. Although they respond on social media they claim 'back log, delays, queues' etc. Visa charge back not possible due to exceeding the charge back limitations 120 days. Be cautious with this business. Honestly not even worth the stress. I wish I didnt fall for the hype or fomo.

Been waiting for an order since April 2023. Have not had a single update since January.

this business is scummy and a scam. i emailed 3 separate times over the span of a month to cancel my pre order while it was still within the stated pre order window and every single email was ignored. still haven’t gotten my refund a month later, extremely unprofessional and disappointing. they are actively deleting comments on their website. DO NOT purchase.

I ordered Spark of the Everflame NOVEMBER 2024 and was supposed to receive those books MAY 2025. They never emailed to say there was delay, they expect you to go on their site to find this information. When I still didn't see any updates DECEMBER 2025, I decided to email to cancel. They did not respond for 3 weeks! They said they would refund and I would get an email. NOTHING. It's been another week without a response. This company needs to be blacklisted and people should be warned. They need to stop releasing special editions and fix their delays.

If you like preordering books and never receiving them while they post cute reels about their new warehouse, then LitHaven is the store for you! You probably won’t ever get your book and good luck trying to get in touch with customer service without having to chase them down and have them make excuses about why it has taken them two years to respond to people and not even fully process refunds. They’re a terrible company that I would not recommend ordering from, no matter how pretty their editions look because that picture is the closest you’ll probably get to actually receiving your book.

If I could rate them a 0 star I would!! I ordered back in April with a ship date in November. Update in November on website said December shipping now. Shipping delay due to Holidays over seas??? They don’t celebrate Labor Day or Memorial Day or 4th of July or Thanksgiving… so what holiday? Chinese new year in early in the year. I have emailed MULTIPLE TIMES and no response: reached out on social media nothing. Shipping update page has not been updated since November and the book I ordered in not in fulfillment process nor in the next batch of books to be fulfilled but coming soon.. so at this rate IF I get a book it’s looking like this time next year at the rate they are moving. And Instead of stopping to complete what they have they just keep SCAMMING and taking new peoples money. I have not seen a single post where someone has posted about receiving book. I am posting this in hopes that someone does their research before ordering and just moves on without funding their scam.

I placed several pre-orders with Lit Haven Booktique and experienced very long delays, with some orders outstanding for over a year.

After requesting cancellation, I was told my orders were refunded. Two refunds were processed correctly (via PayPal and credit card), but one bank transfer / EU payment (€129.01) has still not been returned.

Despite multiple follow-up emails, I have not received a response regarding this missing refund. My bank confirmed that no refund has been received or is pending.

Communication stopped entirely, leaving me with no option but to escalate the issue through my bank and formal channels.

I’m sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision before placing pre-orders.

I purchased a book through Lit Haven Book, and unfortunately I had a very frustrating experience with the store. Due to extremely long shipping delays, I had to request a refund. Although the refund was initially approved, I never received my money and customer service stopped responding after several weeks. I don't recomand this store at all

Preordered a book on 30th November 2024. More than 12 months on the books have never shipped to me, I have sent multiple emails asking for an update and more recently a refund and got no response, absolutely terrible customer service. Would never recommend or use again

The only saving grace for Lithaven is the quality and design of the books they put out. Their customer service is non-existent as well as their ability to timely communicate anything about shipping and production. They made a big deal last year about changing their process and keeping everyone updated WEEKLY. Updates are about every four to six weeks. If you really start watching their updates books stay in transit via truck FOR WEEKS. Like how? Their logistics manager needs to be replaced. Or maybe they don't actually have one. I swear it's like there's two part time employees that work every other weekend. I have been waiting for a book since JUNE 2024.

Honestly, their customer service is non-existent. I have tried messaging them and commenting on their Instagram posts as well after emailing them on June 25th, but no one ever answers and it came to me realising that they just ignore their customers.

Awful company, really sad as the books are pretty but defo not worth the hassle.

I finally got my book exactly ONE year after I ordered it. That is just ... not it, but well, the book is very beautiful and I love it.
Shipping time got delayed sooo many times in this one year period I can't even count it on both of my hands.
Did not have any issues with customer support when I needed it, so that is great at least. But there is definitely needed by this company to take some measures to keep their customers.

Still waiting on a preorder from May 2023, almost two years (and counting) to wait for a special edition is crazy. They rarely give updates (when they do, it’s never even remotely accurate) and are not transparent, they don’t respond to emails or messages. Yet they keep putting out more and more preorders without fulfilling older orders. Their editions are beautiful but frankly, I don’t understand how this company is still in business.

I just really wanted to convey my gratitude to this book box company. They possess so many great qualities that lack in many similar companies.

1. Their books are affordable and so are the shipping rates for international customers.
2. Their spines have a rounded finishing which makes the books look more expensive with the dustjacket on. It just looks better compared to the square backs that many others offer.
3. There’s the option to choose between no-edges or different coloured edges. And the price is cheaper without the edges, which shows what an honest company they are. I don’t often like coloured edges so I’m very thankful for that.
4. There’s also an option for minor/major scratch & dent books which again, are cheaper in price.
5. They offer free art prints with their books, a reversible dust jacket, endpage art and even a beautiful hardback design.
6. There’s no waitlist and they offer a 10% discount for those who signed up for early access per product, instead of a subscription!
7. They usually continue producing sequels of books that are a series.

In conclusion, I absolutely adore Lit Haven Boutique and I never once regretted ordering from them.

I always feel scammed whenever I pay double the price for lesser in quality books from other companies, and I just wish many would follow Lit Haven their example!

They don’t ship.

Sure the books are beautiful but I’ll never recommend this company ever. Support other small businesses who care! Getting a response from them is next to impossible. I’m still waiting on books from May 13 2023. Delay after delay. Excuse after excuse. It’s absolutely insane that people will hype them up and become influencers knowing what they are doing. I
