I have used the French lessons
I have used the French lessons/instructors, so my opinions are related to these only. My biggest complaint is that the system is definitely set up to favor the company and the instructors over students. There are a number of highly qualified and highly effective instructors that have been very helpful. Unfortunately, there are just as many that are not as helpful or effective and students have little to no control over who will teach the classes you sign up for. You cannot choose the instructor and if you cancel within 72 hours of the class you will be charged for the class (even though the instructor might change to someone you don't want to work with during that 72 hour time frame). Even if you schedule a private class, you cannot choose the instructor. This creates a situation that feels much like playing the lottery to see if you get someone that is effective or not. If you need classes at a particular time of day, it can be challenging, depending on your time zone. Instructor feedback (provided after the class is over) is pretty meaningless. For example, the feedback will be a list of two or three categories that you did well and one or more that you can improve. Sometimes the areas to improve are listed as "other", which is completely unhelpful. The better instructors provide written narative feedback that explains the cateogires, while others either leave generic comments that could apply to anyone, or none at all. It's also problematic that Lingoda doesn't assign native speakers based on the language you're learning. Although I am learning French, I may be assigned someone that is not a natrive French speaker, which has happened multiple times and often had a negative impact on the quality of the instruction. There's also an issue with the consistency of instruction because you work with a different instructor in almost every class, so it hasn't been uncommon to receive inconsistent information from the instructors. This makes learning a language very confusing and more difficult than it needs to be. There's very little material that's instructive within each class and some faculty have an expectation that you know things that have not been included in the curriculum. Although I'm glad to learn from them, when they skip slides and material that are part of the curriculum and add information that isn't it creates a new set of issues. I'll use the credits I've already paid for, but I won't be purchasing any new credits with Lingoda. I wish I hadn't purchased as many lessons as I have and would advise anyone new to Lingoda to take at least 10 lessons before purchasing a large package.

Learning a language takes a lot of effort, and our goal is to ensure that every scheduled class takes place with a qualified teacher. To prioritize keeping your class on schedule, if the original teacher cancels within the designated time window, we assign a replacement. For private classes, we can only accommodate the students' preferred schedules by assigning a teacher after the booking is made, which is why we cannot display the teacher beforehand.
We completely understand your frustration when a teacher does not meet your expectations. Our Teacher Operations team works hard to guide our teachers, so please reach out to us directly whenever you have a disappointing experience. Checking classes function could be better.
Native German teachers help me learn Germany well in pronunciation and listening. The lesson designing and materials are systematized to learn.
Some advice below. On app to review my rate in lessons and check classes is not convenient. For example, It will be better to show the A1.1 all classes state on a list in course model. But now I have to click in every chapter, and then I see the state of every class.
It’s too important to show the class index at any class title in my opinion. After I book a class, When I check in few days, I may forget the class title and which chapter or what a rate in a chapter.

Under point 5.3 of the official rules document for your specific Sprint, it is explicitly stated that students must take 15 classes per Sprint month, with a limit of no more than 1 class per day and no more than 5 classes per week.
Please be assured that your situation was thoroughly reviewed by our Sprint Management Team. However, because this rule was clearly outlined in the document available throughout the entire Sprint, we must stand by our decision. This is also a matter of fairness to the other students who strictly adhered to this rule to qualify for their reward.
This decision does not minimize your efforts in the slightest. We recognize the immense effort and discipline you put into this challenge. That hard work is not lost—you actively participated in your classes, made the most of the learning materials, and advanced on your language journey. This progress is yours to keep, and it is a valuable achievement. Unfortunately, the cashback reward can only be granted to participants who followed every single rule. We are truly sorry that we cannot make an exception in this case.

I completed the full Lingoda Sprint…
I completed the full Lingoda Sprint Challenge — all 30 required classes across the two-month period. The challenge is split into two separate windows with a break in between, which makes navigating the exact boundaries genuinely tricky when scheduling classes over such an extended period. I accidentally booked one more class in the first month — one day off — and was disqualified entirely as a result.
Despite completing every single required class, Lingoda refused to review my case. I gained no advantage from this scheduling error, and the mistake was a direct consequence of the challenge's own complex structure.
I understand rules exist, but penalizing a student who completed 30 out of 30 classes with full disqualification — over one day — feels disproportionate and contrary to the spirit of a challenge meant to reward learning. I have escalated formally and hope Lingoda reconsiders.

First, we completely understand your disappointment, as you put a lot of effort and discipline into your participation in the Sprint.
The rules do not exist to penalize students. The main pillar of the Sprint is continuous participation in lessons to ensure ongoing learning progression. However, because the Sprint is a challenge, it is strictly governed by the rules document; the cashback can only be awarded when every single rule is followed. This is also out of fairness to all the other participants who followed the rules and qualified for the cashback.
There is no official break between the first and second month of the Sprint. In the rules document, the dates for the first and second months are explicitly stated. It outlines that 30 classes must be taken within these two months—specifically, 15 classes in the first month and 15 classes in the second month, with a limit of no more than one class per day and no more than five classes per week. The Sprint challenge has a complex structure, which is precisely what makes it a challenge. All rules and dates are clearly stated in the document, and our student support team is always available to clarify any doubts during the challenge. While the true reward of the Sprint challenge is the progress made by staying focused on your learning journey, following every rule is necessary to receive the cashback.
We regret that we cannot change the outcome of your results, but we hope you can see the value in the progress you have made by attending classes and utilizing the learning materials.

This has been a life altering experience for me and I cannot shout your praises loud enough. Highly recommend
I started using Lingoda two years ago and during that time passed the DELF A2, B1 and now B2 exams. Their service definitely played a key role in making that possible. Admittedly, I was skeptical to try Lingoda at first. It was the no-risk trial and YouTube influencer reviews that convinced me to give it a go. I was immediately surprised at how great the lessons and content were!
The combination of flexibility, topics, and a structured curriculum is so helpful. I am planning to keep going with Lingoda French for a while since even though I passed the DELF B2 I still feel I can learn a lot from the platform. Eventually though my plan is to stop the French lessons with Lingoda and switch to Lingoda Spanish lessons. :) Then who knows....maybe Italian or German from there.
Lingoda is an integral part of my language learning journey. It is a great product annd their customer service along the way has also been terrific. I highly recommend them to anyone I speak to who is interested in improving one of the languages the platform offers.

Great and engaging experience. I had 32 one-to-one 1 hour german lesson with 31 different teachers. Everyone extremely prepared. I had to cancel it because I do not have much time at the moment, but I will start again soon.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with all the teachers, but I’m especially grateful to those who make an effort to make their lessons more interesting and engaging. Nothing replaces an actual teacher, human rather than AI, with native language level experience and knowledge. Lingoda has an excellent formula, wherein a live conversation is placed within a framework of a specific learning topic, but is flexible depending on the capabilities and interests of the student(s).
