I called the Quantum Fields in Littleport Cambridge sales office to booked for a visit to view one of the newly built properties, I was looking forward to see what the site look like etc. This guy name Colin greeted me he sounded as if I was bothering him when I walked in the sales suite. I know I was little early as the appointment was at 2 and got there may be around 1:20 I explained to him I’m a little early got an appointment with Linden Homes. Thinking Bovis will have a different office on the same site, I explained to him I thought I can have a look at the Bovis houses for now to kill some time, but I was wrong Linden and Bovis use the same sales suite which is fine. He was kind of ok but showed a bit of an attitude and had a patronising demeanor. So we were walking to view an empty reserved property he seems to ask a lot of personal questions one after another as if he needs to know where all family lives in uk and do I have any family living in uk or with etc etc. I find him very nosy and intrusive actually. I was not comfortable about that actually but at the time I answered all his questions anyway, I’d only later I thought that was unprofessional and unnecessary to ask so many personal questions about me and family in quick succession. When I ask him questions about the site he doesn’t seems to like to answer me, I have to ask him again and when he does he would respond to me as if I was stupid. Thinking back I really shouldn’t have answered him any personal questions. The whole experience of this appointment with this guy was not pleasant and below the usual standard! I also asked to see some of the samples of kitchen worktops and floorings he was not keen to show me that and by the end of the viewing he quickly shake my hand and say goodbye to me. He was keen to get rid of me! In addition, I thought he was a bit unprofessional to be wearing trainers instead of formal office shoes, his shirt was loosing hanging down instead of tucked inside his waist band. I have been to a lot of show homes I do know what to expect when I walk in a sales suite and a show home. When I requested to view the show homes the door on one of them were locked and the lights were all off. I just thought this is just laziness!

Martin was very friendly and helpful and very willing to take on any questions I had about said property and explained all the steps in great detail

Our experience with Linden Home, Priors Hall has been more than excellent. In particular Matt has gone above and beyond to support us in our journey as first time buyers and is one of the reasons we bought our home with Linden. He is warm and welcoming, nothing is ever too much trouble and is always at the end of a phone or email. He makes you feel as if you are his number one priority all of the time. In addition Rosie the site manager has be really great and friendly, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Everyone we have encountered on the team so far has been great, warm and friendly.

Allison was really accommodating. She was more than happy to spend time going between the houses that we couldn't choose between. She worked out the best possible deal she could get us. She was just super lovely to talk to.

We purchased a new build from Linden homes and moved in March 2026,the site manager Manny & Assistant manager Clarke have been absolutely amazing.
They go above and beyond to help you out with any concerns or issues in your new home,they have treated us with the upmost respect.
There site workers are polite and friendly,and safety is always a high priority with machinery being moved about.
The site it overall very clean and tidy and well signed posted,l don’t think l would have bought from another developer.
Yes we have had a few issues with our new build,but nothing is going to be 100% perfect.
It’s human made and errors do accrue from time to time.
Like we had an air block in the radiators,that needed to be bled as one or two of the radiators wouldn’t warm up.
But as soon as we raised these issues with the site manager Manny or Clarke,it was sorted the same day or the next day.
I couldn’t ask for a better site manager on this development,his team and self are 5 star ⭐

Had an amazing experience whilst buying our new house on a part exchange. Alison was kind, helpful and very supportive when we had issues with the solicitors. If it wasn’t for Alison’s support we would have pulled out due to the stress it was causing. Our new house has been great, a couple of snags but nothing that we weren’t aware of prior to purchase. It’s certainly the best house we have lived in, and it now feels that this is our new home and somewhere we can be proud of. Thank you the Bishop family

We visited the Linden Homes Whiteley Meadows development to see if a new build home might be the right option for us. We received a wonderfully warm reception and 5 star service while visiting (thanks, Debbie!). Debbie took the time to understand what we wanted, shaping our visit to take us to relevant plots and highlighting anything we might find helpful to know. We felt the community the development was building seemed lovely and the houses were beautiful (the mylne was perfect!). We've discussed for a while now and we ultimately felt the following were just too much to overlook/compromise on (hence 4 stars rather than 5):
small garden size (my biggest disappointment),
the window bar required to meet new building regs (could make it more difficult to sell on in the future) and
not being able to utilise the loft space for storage.
I do feel a little sad about this as the house itself genuinely was ideal and the community vibe/atmosphere felt good. I'm certain many people will find it perfect and build an amazing life here, it just sadly was not quite right for us and our wishes/needs.

Deceptive "Bait-and-Switch" Tactics & Ignored Complaint
​I am incredibly disappointed with the unprofessional sales tactics from Vistry South East Midlands regarding a plot at Little Glen.
​The Experience:
​The Bait: On June 4th, I received a written, confirmed offer: a £365,000 purchase price, 5% gifted deposit (£18,500), and included appliances. I was given under 24 hours to submit my financial documents and pay a reservation fee.
​The Switch: The very next day, the offer was abruptly retracted due to "circumstances beyond control." The new "final offer" jumped the price to £369,995 and slashed the deposit contribution to £12,495—costing me thousands of pounds more.
​Pressuring a buyer to rush financial documents for a confirmed deal, only to yank it away the next morning, is highly unethical.
​Broken Deadlines:
​I raised a formal Step 2 complaint (Ref: 11879) on June 5th. The Sales and Marketing Director explicitly promised a written response no later than June 15th. That deadline has passed, and I have received absolutely zero communication or updates.
​Vistry's commitment to customer service is as unreliable as their written offers. Avoid this builder if you value honesty and transparency.
