In 2017, Liforme was the first yoga mat I invested in outside of the one I used in college. Since then, those have been the only mats I have used throughout my practice. I recommend my students utilize these mats for the alignment system, sustainability and support during their yoga practice. I truly love and enjoy Liforme as a company and go-to to continuously elevate my yoga practice and teaching experience. From the travel mat to the yoga pad, there is always use for this mat in my daily life. I stand by Liforme as the premier yoga mat company for the wellness community.

Illegale Praktiken bei Rückgabe. Die Matte kommt in einem Papier das vermutlich jeder Mensch öffnet da man sich die Matte ja anschaut. Ich will meine zurück geben und sie wollen 25€ Gebühr und 15€ Versandkosten.
Das ist tatsächlich eine rechtliche nicht zulässige Praxis.
Die größte Frechheit - sie schlagen vor man könnte ja die Matte behalten und jemandem schenken. Klar - sind ja nur 100€ oder?
Auch wenn ihr Yogamatten verkauft betreibt ihr leider ein Business und müsst euch ans Recht halten. Genauso habt ihr nunmal als Onlineshop das unternehmerische Risiko der Rückgabe.
Eventuell ist es aber auch einfach eure Methode - wer die Matte behält ist toll und wer die rückgeben möchten hat Pech.
Ich habe das Unternehmen informiert dass sie hier rechtlich unzulässige Dinge tun. Zudem habe ich ihnen vorgeschlagen sie können die Matte ja zurück nehmen und selbst jemandem schenken.
Ich werde hier ein Update geben wie sich das Thema gelöst hat oder ob ich auf einer 100€ Matte plus 15€ Versandkosten von der Lieferung hier her sitzen bleibe was eh schon im absoluten Hochpreis-Segment ist. Dann so einen illegalen "Service" zu haben ist echt das letzte.

I have just replaced my beautiful Liforme mat after 12 years of near constant use. For a yoga mat to last so long says a lot about how amazing they are. The fantastic non slip quality allows for a deeper more confident practice and the markings on the mat help to centre and align the body into postures. The bag it comes in is comfortable to wear on the shoulder or cross body and the mat is light enough to carry around to classes. There is no curling up at the edges after unrolling either.
These mats are possibly a little more expensive than many yoga mats on the market but if yours lasts as long as mine did, it’s really no expense at all!

Charging at a third the delivery cost for returns in Germany. No return label comes on product you must email in.

No warning on the mat not to take the slip off. This invalidates return. Mine is in box (thank god) but this warning needs to be provided to consumers.

„Order No Please kindly note that for returns of non-faulty products, there is a return fee of €15 to help cover the cost of the label and in cases where the paper hygiene seal has been broken an additional handling fee of €25. If you are happy to proceed please could you confirm your shipping address is XXXX. I can then set up a returns label for you“

My first big commitment to my yoga practice was my Liforme yoga mat in classic green. As soon as I stepped into my mat, I knew that I found the perfect tool for my practice. Now, with 4 Liforme mats in my rotation (actually it’s one in my car, one at home, one in the studio, and the last one that I just recently bought, I can say that the Liforme mat quality has always been top notch.

Customer service is terrible. Can’t get a return label for four days straight after multiple requests.

I decided to order a mat + pad after seeing these around the studio (and time to replace my long loved Lulu). I found the design and color, and my husband ordered as a birthday gift. Once the box arrived, I opened to find the pad is grey and the mat is the pink lotus. Two issues - the pad is not the color I thought I ordered and the lotus design appears much more... juvenile in real life. I've initiated what I would like to be an exchange but this process is providing to be extremely difficult. First, the $20 "sanitation" fee PER mat for opening the paper wrapping (this isn't mentioned anywhere on their site), plus the return shipping charge - I'm looking at $47 + the cost of the new products. I think it's perfectly reasonable to unwrap an almost $200 mat upon receipt to inspect the purchase and not be charged a "sanitation" fee.

Second, the response time from the customer service team is terrible. I'm trying give this company money (within reason) and I'm literally begging for a response.

At this point I might as well keep the knee pad and try to find a matching Lulu, and just eat the $27 bucks. If I can ever get them to send me a return label. At least then I won't be reminded of this experience every time I get on my mat.

I'll update if the situation improves.

Update 3/31: it's now been 7(?) working days. No response after the initial communication, despite 3 follow emails and a new chat request. Next step is to file a dispute with the credit card company. You guys, for real, I just want to do an exchange. why is this so hard?
Update 4/10: Seems to be resolved, Liforme did apologize for the situation, and has taken steps to save the customer relationship. Also claims to be working on this complicated return/exchange process (I imagine the company does not want to encourage returns/exchanges, due to the commitment to the environment + nature of the mat material but there has to be an easier way).
Raising the stars now that there's been resolution.

Shopped & asked around a long time before deciding on this mat. All I cared about was not slipping in hot yoga and all the towels and mats were slippery. I wanted a non slip mat. I've tried every mat out there and they all slip! So glad I pulled the trigger on this mat, so far it has AMAZING grip, I can barely slide into splits without taking the mat with me and that's exactly what I wanted.
Didn't think I'd care about the design on the mat but surprisingly it is helpful in achieving correct alignment. I find myself correcting myself when looking down in certain poses. It's def not a lightweight mat it's pretty heavy, hopefully that means good quality.
If you do yoga daily and you're on the fence due to the price, do it, it's worth every penny. Wish I would've purchased a long time ago.
The only con so far is their cleaner, probably wouldn't purchase that again. It's a foam, it's a small bottle & its expensive.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience ordering the custom yoga mats from Liforme. Nowhere on their website was it stated that the goods are imported from China, which means I now have to deal with customs clearance myself, a hurdle I was not expecting.

To make matters worse, the package was sent with a fraudulent invoice stating a lower price than what I actually paid. Because the goods need to be imported, I am now facing the possibility of unexpected import taxes, despite the website explicitly stating that purchases made within the EU would not incur additional charges. This is highly misleading and completely unacceptable.

I reached out to Liforme’s customer service for clarification, but their only response was to send me a correct invoice reflecting the actual amount I paid, which does nothing to fix the problem. They refuse to acknowledge that they should have handled the import process themselves, leaving me to deal with any potential additional costs. Too bad, one star is the minimum. I wouldn’t even give that if I had the option.

Update:
Following my initial complaint, Liforme did reach out and the situation was eventually resolved—I did not have to pay any additional import taxes in the end. I appreciate that they took action to sort things out.

However, this could have been avoided entirely if I had been informed from the start that the mats were being shipped from outside the EU and that customs clearance might be required. I wasn’t prepared for the formalities, as I don’t have an EORI number and couldn't obtain one quickly. As a result, I had to change the recipient to someone who did, which delayed delivery further. Because the package was held for so long, there was also a real risk that the courier would return it before we received the necessary information and corrected invoice from Liforme.

While I’m relieved that it was resolved, the lack of upfront transparency made for a frustrating experience.

The mats themselves are excellent: great adherence, they behave well during practice, and still look and feel great even after two months of regular use.

I had my mat for less than 6 months. I also practice only once or twice a week. The mat started to separate from the rubber and the bottom material. The previous mat served me 7 years. Clearly it must be manufacturer’s issue, however no response. Therefore, I would advice you to stay away at look at lululemon because their mats are equally good, if not better.

Received my mat few days ago and noticed markings (scratches?) on both sides. I reported this to them and they asked for photos. I will update after resolution.

I had one already for studio use, but I purchased a second Liforme mat for at home yoga. The one I had (different brand) just didn't give that extra bit of grip that I found helpful in certain poses.

They are great mats and I find the orientation markings really helpful.

I chose a decorative one this time. It looks lovely, but in hindsight I would've gone with a simpler design (like my other one). I find that the areas with decorative markings aren't quite as 'grippy', but it hasn't caused any problems as it can be easily got around.

Not only is it a great mat but the company uses non toxic materials and is a certified b corp. I love a company with good heart!

I was using my cheap Tjmaxx mat for a while and decided I needed to upgrade because my hands and feet would always slip even in non heated yoga. So I looked into a bunch of mats and after reading reviews I ended up on this one and can say I do not regret this purchase one bit! This mat is very grippy and I feel secure in every pose. Even during heated or hot yoga I am confident I will not be slipping or sliding anywhere which is amazing. My only con is I do wish it was even the slightest more padded as it is very firm but I planned to get a knee pad anyways. So 10/10 if you’re looking for a grippy mat this is for sure a solid choice and I am very impressed with it!

after seeing a few of the Lifeforme mats at my studio I was initially impressed with the beauty of the mats and also the alignment markers. I chatted with yogi's that had the mat and and it was always a good review so I was intrigued to try it for myself. Well let me say I was more than impressed ! I purchased the cosmic Moon design in blue and have many compliments. The grip is amazing and feels very secure. Best purchase ever!

Wer einmal eine Liforme Matte hatte, will nie wieder eine andere. Rutschfest, dünn aber trotzdem erstaunlich weich. Die Matten sind schon sehr teuer, aber sie sind einfach klasse.
Ich hatte eine Reklamation bei einer Matte. Der Support hat recht zügig geantwortet und war sehr nett und kulant.
Würde ich immer wieder bestellen.

As with every Liforme mat, the quality, grippiness and design is faultless. Delivery was ultra fast and is is packaged securely in non-wasteful material! Love everything about it!!!

Pros:
- Customer service! I saw a mat I loved more than the one I ordered, which was around the same price. I emailed to ask if I could change my order. It was done very quickly and efficiently.

If there are any issues, they respond very quickly!

- Mat designs! I ordered the rainbow one, and it is absolutely beautiful.

- The grip! It's the reason I've invested so much money in a mat. I was sick of slipping in nearly every class.

Cons

- Price! As mentioned everywhere, it is costly.

- For black people: We moisturise our skin from top to toe and our hair regularly. Not moisturising our hair damages it, but getting it near the mat will stain it.

I would suggest contacting them about colours and cleaning advice before ordering. They were incredibly helpful to me in fixing the issue I was having, though.

I have practiced yoga on and off on my own for the better part of the last ten years, beginning on YouTube and making way to studio practice here and there with my chosen discount mat of choice (often found at Target, Marshall's or even Five Below) and struggled constantly with slipping since I am THE SWEATIEST person I know (all the way to my palms and soles!). I realized that this was affecting my practice - my security in certain positions, my posture, I was adjusting TOO much to make sure I didn't slip. After tons of research and reading, I found Liforme and waited until one of their many sales to purchase a mat for the first time. I have been using it now for half a year and not only has it held up beautifully - it holds ME up beautifully. I don't have to worry about slipping - I don't move an inch even when I am dripping sweat! I just bought a second mat and am excited to continue to learn and grow. The only thing I would say is the free bag that comes with the mat is a little difficult to use and not well-designed - I bought a large zip-tote style yoga mat bag instead, but overall, I would buy again and again!
