LifeSpan Europe Arvostelua 

I purchased a LifeSpan TX6, which was delivered on 13th August. Due to the heatwave and my holidays, I barely used it during the first few weeks. I started using it more regularly in September, and the problems appeared very quickly.

Towards the end of some walking sessions, I noticed a squeaking noise coming from the right-hand side of the treadmill, mainly at the end of my stride. The noise quickly became worse. On 10th September, less than one month after receiving the treadmill, I contacted LifeSpan and sent them a video and an audio recording demonstrating the problem.

Customer service replied that the running belt was probably misaligned and asked me to recenter it. I followed their instructions and spent a large part of my weekend adjusting, tightening and loosening the belt using the rear bolts. This made absolutely no difference.

I then explained that the squeaking was not present when I first started the treadmill, but appeared after approximately 5 to 10 minutes of use and continued regardless of the selected speed. I also explained that I could recognise the signs of an incorrectly adjusted belt: when it is too far to one side or insufficiently tensioned, it produces a different rubbing noise or may briefly slip under my foot. That is not what is happening here. This noise sounds more like the treadmill’s structure is creaking, as though the machine had already been used for several years, even though it is supposed to be brand new.

Since my email on 14th September, I have received no response. Meanwhile, the problem has continued to get worse. I was even able to record another video in which I leave my foot resting on the moving belt: a loud squeak can clearly be heard whenever my foot passes over certain areas.

On 18th September, I called their telephone number. The person I spoke to asked me to send all the videos and explanations via WhatsApp and promised to get back to me the following Monday. It is now Tuesday, 22nd September, and I have still received neither a response nor a solution.

Before purchasing the treadmill, I had already seen several reviews from customers who had received defective brand-new units. This initially concerned me, but those reviews also said that LifeSpan’s customer service was responsive and helped resolve such problems. That reassured me and convinced me that, even if I received a faulty unit, the company would deal with it properly. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.

I am now left with a practically new treadmill that squeaks as though it had already been used for several years, while customer service has stopped responding despite receiving several videos, an audio recording, emails, a telephone call and WhatsApp messages.

Considering the price, this is unacceptable. LifeSpan treadmills are presented as durable machines that should last for years, yet mine developed a serious and worsening issue after less than one month of very limited use. This raises serious concerns not only about the quality control and reliability of the products being shipped as new, but also about the company’s ability and willingness to support customers when one of those products is defective.

A premium price should provide both a reliable product and dependable after-sales support. In my case, LifeSpan Europe has provided neither. I cannot recommend this brand and would strongly advise choosing another manufacturer with better quality control and a genuinely responsive customer service team.

I thought I was buying a premium walking pad, but I was wrong. The product description did not mention that the walking pad cannot be stored upright, so I have to keep it permanently on the floor.

The walking pad also has a functional issue: if I pause it briefly, I cannot resume walking. I contacted the company about this problem and ended up spending more than a month troubleshooting it with them. They sent me several components that I had to replace myself, despite the poor instructions. Eventually, they sent me a completely new walking pad. The problem remained, which means it appears to be a manufacturing defect that they simply have not identified in their product.

Overall, the company came across as rather amateurish and disorganized. Even the stickers attached to the walking pad contain spelling mistakes. Next time, I will try a different manufacturer.

On the positive side, they genuinely tried to help, and their customer service responded well to my messages. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend.

La cinta de maravilla no da un solo problema no es ruidosa y cumple con su cometido sin problema en cambio la página web está llena de enlaces texto botones no queda claro cuál es el catálogo correcto y tampoco funciona el filtrado para encontrar un producto concreto tienes que hacer una búsqueda larga y extensa.

Perfect support. I had an issue with my TR1200, which was bought 4 years ago. it just stopped working. The support was very helpful and in a very short time they sent me a new MCB (internal circuit board). I replaced it myself inside the machine, and my TR1200 is working again. I'm very happy with it, and I really recommend Lifespan. The TR1200 is a perfect machine, I'm using it approx. 3-4 hours every day during my work on the computer. If you get used to it, you cannot imagine sitting the whole day on a chair anymore.

The delivery was fast and without any issues. FedEx did a really good job. They showed up when they said they would show up, it was well packed and it perfect order.

The walking pad is nice, works as advertised. It's a bit louder than I thought it would be, but it's okay.

The console is kind of old-fashioned. I would have few improvement ideas wrt UI and UX - but it works.

Excellent service and product! I had a correspondence first with a couple of questions and have never experienced so effective/short “reply time” even outside office hours. I ordered on a Saturday (weekend) and recieved Friday less than a week after, which was surprisingly since I ordered from Denmark and not NL (and for sure expected it to be 2-3 weeks delivery, even though the site says 4-9 business days).

I further even had dialogue with worries during delivery, and Ronald (Director who has helped me) was amazing to handle all questions from me. Product wise Lifespan Treadmill TR5000 Glow Up lives up to my high expectations, really good quality and worth the higher price I would say! Therefore im happy I choose to order from the brand website itself, and not a distributor more near by. I was really hoping the service would be amazing from the original brand it self, now that they sell these more expensive tread mills and the type of brand they appear to be :-) luckily I was not disappointed in anything!

Ich habe mir das LifeSpanTX6Walking Pad zugelegt. Warum? Um keine Ausreden mehr zu haben, dass es draussen kalt ist oder es Regnet oder oder oder...Ich kann jetzt immer gehen mit bis zu 10km/h wobei ich im Moment niedrige Geschwindigkeiten nutze. Ich muß abnehmen! Und man kann das Pad prima unter den Schreibtisch stellen und während dem Arbeiten langsam gehen. Das Pad hat einen hohen Preis ? Das kommt auf die Sichtweise an. Das Pad ist robust, man kann es bis 200kg belasten (das ist wichtig. Es bringt nichts wenn man sich ein billiges walking pad kauft und der Motor kann dann Dein Gewicht nicht bewegen) und es ist 51 cm breit. Schaue Dir die Breite der Geräte am Markt an, 38cm können verdammt schmal sein! Die Fernbedienung erleichtert die Bedienung des Geräts. Vier sinnvolle Anzeigen, nicht mehr, keine sinnlosen Spielereien. Für mich ein guter Kauf der zudem schnell verschickt wurde.

Het fietst wel een beetje zwaar ook op de laagste stand. Ik vind het wel een reuze mooie uitvinding om zelf stroom op te wekken door te trappen. Het is hierom zeker een 5 sterren waard. Voordat ik de bestelling geplaatst had, werd mijn vraag per mail snel beantwoord door de vestiging in Rotterdam. Toen bestelling geplaatst wachtend op de nieuwe maan omdat ik een mooie start wilde hebben op deze aankoop. Ik werd gebeld door de transporteur dat het eerder geleverd kon worden. Op de afleverdatum zelf zou de lift helaas buiten werking zijn voor die week wegens werkzaamheden in de lift. De chauffeur was alleen en had het niet kunnen sjouwen en heeft aangeboden om met nog een mannelijke kracht erbij 2 hoog te willen sjouwen. 2 van mijn buren stonden klaar te helpen. De medewerker van de werkzaamheden van de lift heeft gelukkig aangeboden dat ze de lift voor dit doel tijdelijk zouden activeren. Mijn 80 jarige buur heeft toch maar getild om de grote zware grote doos op een rollende 'kar' te zetten. De lift werd aan het einde van de dag door de werkers aangezet en ze hebben het zelfs binnengezet bij mij. Er ontbrak een wrench en ik dacht eerst dat ik meerdere onderdelen miste, omdat ik de tekst niet had gelezen en alleen de afbeelding had bekeken. De zadel bleek al tijdelijk gemonteerd en moest gedemonteerd worden, vandaar dat ik eerst dacht dat ik die onderdelen miste. De service van Lifespan gaf aan dat er iemand zou worden gestuurd. Maar gelukkig had ik andere 'moersleutels' in voorraad en is het me gelukt het zelf te monteren. Ik heb mijn oplaadbare theelichten lader erop aangesloten en zag dat het werd opgeladen. Dus het werkt. Ik ben toch blij met de aanschaf van dit product. Ik hoop dat ik er vaker op zal gaan trainen en niet mijn oude hometrainer zal gebruiken omdat die soepeler trapt. Om de app te activeren moet wel getrapt worden op de bureautrainer. Dit had ik niet gelijk door. Na 2 minuten was ik helaas erg moe. Ik hoop dat ik aan het zware trappen zal wennen.
