LJJ Martial Arts Arvostelua 

My son Connor has just turned 12 years old and has been training at Coalville as a student of Sensai Nathan for 5 years now. Connor is now a junior class leader and preparing for his black belt grading.
I cannot rate this Jui Jitsu martial arts school high enough. All the Sensais are great. Nathan is outstanding and has a supportive caring way of teaching and guiding each student regardless of ability. He tunes into their needs and helps them progress. My son has matured beyond recognition since starting under Nathan and now helps mentor other students under Nathan's guidance. Connors Jui Jitsu has helped him improve in all areas of his life including school. Nathan is a very skilled martial artist but its his dedication, caring and creating a safe inclusive environment that everybody feels part of, Students and parents/relatives alike that really stands out. This must be one of the best martial arts schools in the country. An enormous thank you.

When my daughter was just four, she became a part of Little Dragons. Over the past two years, she has developed more than just martial arts techniques; she's also learned important values like respect, self-assurance, and staying fit. The instructors are wonderful with the kids, allowing them to progress at their own speed with great compassion and patience. Frequent assessments motivate the children to strive for excellence. I wholeheartedly recommend these classes to everyone.

About four years ago, I became a member of this club, and I'm currently a brown belt working towards my black belt. The coaching is outstanding, with fantastic encouragement from everyone involved. It's a welcoming environment where you can learn at your own speed. What a joy!

Highly recommend, my son started at 6 and at 12 he's a junior Black Belt and junior leader with the help and coaching from the team.
He has gained confidence, resilience and hard work ethics since being here. The coaches are also amazing with individual needs and learning styles which have helped greatly 😀

Highly recommend. This is a great club to train out. Have been going to weekly ladies kickboxing. Great fun whilst learning a new skill with the option to progress through belts. Beneficial for both physical and mental health. Very knowledgeable sensei instructors who are great to train with.

An absolutely wonderful club to train at !!! All of the Sensei’s are not only highly trained but incredibly friendly and supportive , that goes for the students too !! My whole family train here and we all love it so much . I was extremely nervous about joining due to my low level of fitness and having never done martial arts before but I quickly felt at home . Now my fitness is improving ,I’m learning new skills and making great friends . I definitely recommend to anyone to book a trial and see for yourself just how great of a club LJJ is !

My children started here when my daughter and son were 2.5 and 4 years of age (respectively). Nathan was their regular coach with Rob filling in every now and then. We stayed on even though we drove 40-45 minutes away because the coaches are top notch! My children learned perseverance and determination while learning physical skills by kind and informed instructors. The other children and parents are supportive and encouraging of everyone. Leicester Ju Jitsu teaches life skills that every child should learn. I can't stress enough how wonderful of an opportunity the children have with everyone on this team.

The Sensei’s are amazing with the children and let them learn at their own pace showing kindness and patience.
Regular gradings are an encouragement to the children to be at their best.

Excellent club,great friendly ,welcoming atmosphere. On my first visit to the club I felt very nervous walking through the door but I was welcomed by sensei Rob and the coaches and felt comfortable straight away. I very quickly fell in love with Ju Jitsu and have now been training for 8.5 years we have a great social side to the club and regularly go for a pint or curry or both🤣 after training. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get fitter, learn self defence or even just to meet new people.

I have been training with Leicester jujitsu since 2019 and can honestly say its the best martial arts club i have ever trained with.
With a large number of highly trained and skilled coaches and assistant coaches/junior leaders, there is always someone to ask if you need assistance. With structured lessons and a clever rotating technique syllabus, you can advance through the belt system at your own pace with gradings taking place every quarter.
With lessons taking place at multiple venues on multiple days, its also easy to find a lesson that fits in around your busy life style and with various types of memberships available, you can train as little or as much as you want. With infant, junior and ladies kickboxing lessons available, there is also something for all the family to get involved in.
So all in all, its a great way for the family to help keep fit, build confidence, learn to defend yourselfs and have fun.

My kids wanted to try Jiu Jitsu (I was also encouraging them.) Rob and the team at Leicester Jiu Jitsu were outstanding. Despite our difficulties in making sessions (COVID isolation and other issues) they were extremely understanding and accommodating.

The set up was very professional with all the relevant certificates, DBS checks, etc. The coaching was really good with a great sensei to student ratio.

Such a shame that my kids decided it wasn't for them (I'm still hoping they'll change their mind at some point.)

An incredibly supportive team. I started to kickbox around February 2020 (just before lockdown) and when we couldn’t train in person they quickly adapted to online sessions. These really helped me to stay fit and mentally well. The sessions push your limits and encourage you to develop. The gradings are appropriately challenging and help you to recognise the progress you’ve made. The knowledge of the Senseis is amazing and they are passionate about the club.

I would highly recommend. My daughter started when she was 4 and is now 8. Her sensei's and assistants are all brilliant. So patient and engaging. My daughter has gained confidence, fitness and learns anatomy as part of her gradings. The dojo in Earl Shilton is well set out clean and easy to get to from the A47. Covid measures have been great. My daughter loves going every week and I enjoy watching her progress. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommended. Well organised, understanding to individual learning needs for all ages. They talk, explain and demostrate, allowing you to understand at your own pace. Great way to keep fit, improve mental welbeing, whilst learning techniques to defened yourself. :-)
