Recently purchased a West Cork Jacket…
Recently purchased a West Cork Jacket in XL. Truly like the jacket but it was too large. Ordered a large and it fit great. Returned the XL and was surprised to see that it cost $87 to ship back. That's almost half the cost of the jacket! Again, great jacket but beware of shipping costs. Pick sizes carefully.

Regarding shipping, we offer free shipping worldwide over a threshold, with a threshold for free shipping to the USA of $80. Therefore when you were sent the first jacket and then the replacement jacket, you got free shipping. I'm afraid as a small company we cannot cover the cost of return shipping.
There are size guides on every product page so customers know the size of each garment.

Beware the sizing is for uni sex, not woman's. I ordered same size I ordered in past only to find it was at least three sizes too big.

great bathrobe, super service
I wanted a warm (but not too warm) bathrobe for winter and had one question for Lee Valley, which was whether the robes are made in Ireland. Yes. I ordered one on a Tuesday, received it on Saturday in my mailbox in Virginia, unbelievably fast service. Really high quality, warm, soft, comfortable, looks great, I hope to use it for many years. Highly recommend products from Lee Valley!

Meine Erwartungen waren schon hoch, aber als die Lieferung ankam, wurden diese noch übertroffen. Ein traumhaftes Material und die Verarbeitung ist perfekt. Diese Qualität habe ich bisher noch nicht gesehen. Der Versand nach Deutschland war auch schnell, Dienstag bestellt in der Woche darauf kam das Paket am Freitag an.

Irish Blackthorn walking
I got my Irish Blackthorn walking stick today and it looks like something that was knocked up in 5 mins with a box cutter,no knobbly bits on the side like the pic's and also its so thick,it is way too heavy to be used as a walking stick,it is 2 to 2.5 inch wide on the stem with a little groove and the handle is smaller than the stem which looks really odd.and the handle is clearly a rootball on the pic's but this is just carved into a straight piece of wood,an absolute ridiculous waste of my money,i bought a thick branch with stem painted black and the top part left light and rounded off,then varnished.they seen me coming,i expected irish craftsmanship but seem to of gotten something that a kid could knock up in 5 min's,very disappointed!!!,i get that they will all look slightly different but if i carried this lump of wood in the uk then i would be arrested for carrying an offensive weapon.,,WOW, so now it seem's yr implying that I am leaving 1 star reviews because I have nothing better to do,I am a google agent and my HONEST reviews are very popular,and it shows what kind of company you are when you decide the best way to answer someone's HONEST REVIEW of your company is to troll their previous reviews and try to discredit them,the piece of WOOD you sold me went in the bin,,I would rather lose the money than deal with your company again,and by the way,,,I know what a blackthorn walking stick looks like,, I already have 6 of them,,AND NONE LOOK LIKE THIS THICK PIECE OF WOOD YOU SENT ME!!

First of all, blackthorn walking sticks are painted black as blackthorn wood is not black in nature, it is a pale brown. Each stick is different as they are handmade by experienced wood crafters. If you are unhappy with a product you can return it to us for a full refund - as per our website. We did not receive any email or phone correspondance from you. Hi William, thank you for your review, you contacted us re receiving the incorrect product on 1st Feb, on 2nd Feb my colleague Ray replied apologising for this mistake - he assured you that this is not the norm for us, our dispatches go through a rigourous quality assurance programme, on 2nd Feb the correct size 3XL was shipped to you, you got to keep the 2XL for regifting etc. Eventually you were happy with our level of customer care, and the service you received from Ray. Beautiful Flannel Pajamas!
Having never ordered from Lee Valley, I purchased two pair of flannel pajamas, and I couldn't be more pleased with them. The quality of the material and sewing is extraordinary! I'm -so- impressed and happy with the pajamas! I will most definitely order from Lee Valley again! :)
