Learning SPACE is a family-run business, started in 2007 by sisters Lorraine (a teacher) and Mary (a social worker). It all began with our younger sister, Emma, who has Sotos syndrome. Supporting her showed us how hard it can be for families to find the right equipment and honest advice, so we set out to make that easier. Naomh joined in 2015, and we’re now a team of 14 combining lived experience with qualifications in education, childcare and specialist support. We supply sensory, educational and specialist equipment, from sensory toys and resources to full sensory rooms, classroom furniture and outdoor play. We source from more than 200 suppliers and work with families, schools, nurseries, therapists, hospitals and local authorities across the UK and Ireland. We’re also a major supplier for Family Fund. What makes us different: Products chosen by people who use them. Our range is shaped by therapists, teachers, parents and children, not just a catalogue. We’ve been there ourselves. We understand what families are going through, and we give advice rather than just a sales pitch. Fair prices. If you find it cheaper elsewhere, we’ll do our best to match or beat it. More than products. Our sister company, Diverse SPACE, offers neurodiversity-affirming training for schools, families and organisations.

Wonderful customer service. Cormac was very helpful and replied to emails promptly keeping me updated about my order.

I had a few issues with orders etc and a man named Cormac dealt with every issue fast and was very good at communicating back and forward. He went out his way to help and resolve all issues and I am very grateful for this.

Quick and easy site
Learning space was an easy site to use with plenty of sensory toys and other options.
They ran out of a product and emailed me I. A fast response and offered me to change it for something wise which I did.

AMAZING
I had little trouble online and phoned up where then I spoke with such a wonderful man, he took me through step by step of my order and didn’t mind when I kept apologising for my son in the background being loud, jumping etc.
He was able to tell me if things was in stock and if not. He was amazing as a first time parent with a child of autism needs I get emotional anxiety ringing people and he just really made me feel at ease.

Rubbish everything over priced took for evey to come every time I called no-one new when I would receive it poor customer service cheap toys could have got more for my money somewhere eles so expensive don't get a lot for your money will not use again shop somewhere eles it's better

We source high quality products from UK and European suppliers so there may be cheaper items on the market but we pride ourselves on the quality of our items. We are happy to price match if we are approached in advance and regularly check our RRPs again other companies selling the same items.

Customer service is excellent
Customer service is excellent , went above and beyond to help me . I was struggling to order onsite and was contacted by a member of staff who helped me step by step and was very helpful made it a lot easier for me .

Very happy!
From ordering and navigating the website yo customer service , I've found learning space to be a great service. Purchase arrived within 10 days and my little boy was so happy with his sensory toys , which has made for a happier home.
