The buyers of my house used this firm and they were apparently nothing but trouble - obstructive, rude, unhelpful, slow, incompetant ... and they didn't give a toss. They left a whole chain of 3 properties waiting for days and days with appaling communication. Don't answer phone calls. Incredibly unprofessional. Don't even deserve 1 star.

They are very helpful and they will explain in detailed about our doubts.even if they are busy they managed to keep in touch with us.i really thankful to them.

I couldn’t be more devastated with the service I had to have an ex’s name removed from my property , they were aware there was a domestic violence situation & to see him to sign it over was very difficult & now I’m being told I have to do it all over again because they didn’t submit the forms in time
So I have to get a 2nd solicitors appt & approach him again I can’t tell u how much distress this has caused
The whole process of remortgaging my home & buying my new home was made extra stressful by this firm
I done most of the work & I had at least 5 different people dealing with it each one unfamiliar with my case & very difficult to understand & communicate with also really bad at responding to important emails
I would truely avoid the list of faults is too much to drone on about & Iv had a hard enough time with these as it is the absolute worst choice , advised by my mortgage advisor big mistake

There are positive reviews in relation to this Law Firm with regards to conveyancing.
However, for all other matters, in particular family law, the best advice is to AVOID them like the plague.
Their client care and response to correspondence is extremely poor. They email for a response and ignore your replies, lacking both courtesy and professionalism. They make many mistakes and are abrupt and rude. Family Law is run by consultant Solicitors with teams of paralegals, of which there are many with a continuous churn of staff. Therefore, you get contacted by numerous people and never really know who is dealing with your case. Their business model in this department is fundamentally flawed. Poor client care, communication skills & grammatical errors mean that the best advice is to shop around, look for a family solicitor with a designated secretary, that way they will take on full responsibility and ownership of your case.
I was even libelled by a solicitor at this firm, which was outrageous considering that they purport to be legal professionals. Finally, these people charge extortionate fees, therefore it is definitely not a case of “you get what you pay for” ! I cannot emphasise enough, avoid this firm for matters concerning family law, shop around and look for a solicitor/secretary combination, check online reviews and look for a firm who offers the first half an hours advice FOC. This firms main objective is “Revenue Generation & Maximum Profit”, please be warned ! Even other Solicitors complain about this Law Firms Family Department and hierarchical structure.

I used Law and Lawyers for a complicated home move and they were awful.
They do not reply to e-mails or phone calls and are always out to lunch!
They put a trainee solicitor on my case who was clearly not qualified to undertake the work and had no authority to agree anything so had to keep checking with her "supervisor".
An example of their incompetence - they requested a completion date in July without having applied for searches - the completion eventually went through in November.
Their incompetence cost me thousands of pounds - avoid or it will cost you similar.

We have completed a purchase of the property 9 weeks back, immediately after the purchase of the property when we went to collect the keys from the agent, we found surprising issues about the property which the seller, sales agent and there letting agent didn’t disclose the information.
There is no way to find about the information as this details are not disclosed. After the completion we have written to our solicitors to help with the same and this are serious issues about the property, the solicitors have mentioned that the property is completed and nothing can be done.
We felt our solicitors have not done there due diligence and it is easy to say it is completed, but when the seller and agent doesn’t disclose information what can we do and what is the use of solicitor, is it they will just see the information in the document and say yes or no and doesn’t do due diligence nor support the sellers.
After we found about the issues, we spoke to several solicitors and came to find out that our solicitors should have dealt the issues and resolved it. It is sad that our solicitors are not helping us nor doing there due diligence.
