Shockingly awful service!
I don’t know how it is possible run a company like this ! My conveyancing process was made extremely stressful by this firm, because most of the time they don't even bother acknowledging, let alone responding to their clients. I know I am not an isolated case because I have seen many reviews stating the same.

The lack of communication caused so much inconvenience for me, the seller, the estate agent and the seller’s solicitors and led to massive delays in the process. My solicitor did not even respond to me or the seller’s estate agent team for about the first 4 MONTHS of the process, instead another staff member abroad was, to the point where the estate agent thought that he was my solicitor!

Also, when you call the office to speak to your solicitor, they never put you through to them. They are always on lunch break - whatever time you call, and you get told they will ring you back, which obviously does not happen. However, if you are lucky, occasionally, they will ring you back about 2 weeks later and think it’s hilarious.

The attitude this company has is as though they are doing us a favour in their spare time, when we paid them very well. It is interesting how when we emailed them about the fees we had to pay them, the response always was very quick!

Another thing that really shocked me was how they had no issue lying to their customers. First, I was told by this firm that the seller asked for an extension and that is reason for the delay, when I cross checked this with my estate agent, she said the seller had said nothing like this and was actually frustrated that the exchange had not happened sooner. I signed all the final paperwork, but one of their staff members kept lying to the estate agent saying that I hadn’t signed it and that was the delay, when it was this firm delaying everything all along.

We were supposed to exchange before Christmas, however, they dragged it all the way till the middle of January ,stressing out the seller, me , the estate agent and the seller’s solicitors! Just seems very unprofessional overall. I didn’t even know who was lying or telling the truth throughout the process. As a first time buyer this was very frustrating! The whole process just felt like chaos!

I was working full time and constantly stressed because nobody would respond to my emails most of the time. There was a day when we had to ring their office about 5 times to get hold of someone because nobody would return my calls, all while trying to do my job. It was even affecting my job performance.

I felt disrespected and abandoned as a first time buyer. We chose this company because we thought we could trust them, but all that was just thrown back in our faces. Nobody should treat paying customers like this.

Overall, this firm needs to try and show some concern and basic respect towards their customers. I am probably going to get a response saying I can speak to their management about the poor service, but from my previous experience, I would assume that the managers would probably ignore my emails too.

One of the best companies to deal with. They keep you informed on each and every step. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them if are into a property purchase or sale.

Cheap and nasty solicitors you get what you pay for.
So if you want no service and no progress with nothing but problems these are the folks for you

I've used many conveyancing firms before but these guys are something else. So incompetent, case handler changed 3 times during the process, constantly asked for documents that had already been submitted and cost me financial losses in the end. Had to complain to the legal ombudsman about them. avoid at all costs!!!

I had a great experience with Law and Lawyers during both the sale of my old property and the purchase of my new one. Sanjana, Sanitha, Ramya, and Alex were all extremely helpful, professional, and easy to deal with throughout the process.

Communication was excellent ! They replied to emails very quickly and kept me updated at every stage, which really helped reduce stress during what can be a complicated process.

They were proactive in chasing things up and making sure everything stayed on track, and as a result the whole transaction was completed in under 10 weeks, which was much faster than I expected.
