I beg that no one uses this firm! They are dealing with the conveyancing for the buyer of my current property. Memorandum of sale was issued 1st week of May with estimation of completion end of July. We sit at the end of August and there is no sign of an exchange let alone a completion date. Holding the chain up for weeks, no communication, no reason why, just absolute incompetence across the board. Querying items that have been answered earlier on in the process, costing everyone money in the chain with the delay.

These guys have literally taken all the fun and joy out of moving and purchasing a new property. The Law Society should absolutely be auditing this firm and closing them for good!

Please AVOID for your own peace of mind, there are tons of decent solicitors around, Law & Liars are not one of them.

We referred a case to Sonya, this was a complicated case but she did an amazing job for the client. The communication was really good and she managed to get it all completed in 8 weeks- very impressed and great service!

So this is a very genuine , heartfelt review and one with all our gratitude !
We finalised on our dream house in January 2024 and as per the normal human instinct went with some one personally recommended by known .
Then started the struggle of managing a transaction with a solicitor who was just not only unprofessional but also who seemed to be working against the transaction We were left with no choice but to change our solicitor with fear in our heart cause of the time constraint and our dream house on line .
In comes Mr Jiji who despite of not being in the city and going through a bereavement in the family was assuring he said he will pick up the case. I’m thankful to him and his efficient and proactive communication. His clear instructions , the process clarity and most importantly him giving us realistic feedback was precious .
Our case was handled by super woman Aasha . This lady changed the game and what sets her apart from other professionals we dealt with for three different transactions was her personal involvement, her assurance that our personal interest/security is her priority and her dealing of the case was professional with no complications . Her problem solving attitude is her biggest strength , she wil communicate the challenge but in the same breath also have a solution options ready . Most importantly she was in constant touch with us which was a major source of assurance .
She was thorough with her work and the highlight was her expertise knowledge of the process and ability to communicate in layman’s term for our understanding.made it easy to trust her and be assured that she will deliver seamlessly. Even after picking the case halfway she delivered within the given deadlines and we had keys on our son’s birthday ( as planned ) which meant the world to our family !

I contacted Jiji and team for purchasing a leasehold flat. The journey went for nearly 5 months, but they mentioned upfront about leasehold duration. I had most of my interaction with Aasha, till the contract closure.
I would like to appreciate and thank Aasha and team for all the efforts. She has been a wonderful person to interact with, highly energetic, able to answer all our queries and give necessary confidence and comfort in getting this overall journey to a happy ending.
The only area which I will recommend to improve is providing proactive updates, even though there is a delay on the Seller solicitor end. As a customer, we will not be aware of the delays happening from seller side, so it is always good to keep providing continous updates to the buyers before we reach them asking for updates.

Thank you once again for the entire team on the overall support and assistance. I will recommend them to my friends/families.

I used these for my remortgage - bearing in mind I remortgaged 6 months prior to my end of my current mortgage term - so there was ample amounts of time to sort it. My solicitor was beyond a joke. Rude, unprofessional & incompetent. I was emailed randomly at 5pm the night before my mortgage was due to complete - requesting documents from me! Due to the solicitor not completing everything in time I was charged almost £100 in interest as my mortgage was on SVR for 5 days due to no fault of my own. The solicitors took no responsibility and even charged me £50 to transfer the excess funds of my remortgage due to them remortgaging higher than my actual outstanding term with another bank! I've never been so stressed! The initial mortgage application when I first bought the house wasn’t even this stressful! I have complained and been told they’re investigating but no resolution and now I’ve emailed twice this week and I’ve been blatantly ignored. Avoid these at ALL COSTS!

We recently approached Law and Lawyers to assist with purchasing a property in Manchester. Jiji and his team, including Aasha, were incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process. They made everything seem effortless, and we were thrilled to complete the sale within our desired timeframe of 3 months.
