Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service, made even worse by the fact that it is my elderly parents who are left out of pocket!
Lancome claim delivery was attempted by DPD, however the photo provided was not of my parents' house/door.
No offer to send a replacement and a refund will only be processed when DPD send the parcel back... As if that's in my parents' control. Leaving anyone out of pocket is bad enough, but when they're 75 it's tantamount to stealing!!

Poor service
My grandaughter had been saving her money and wanted to buy her mum some Idol perfume for Christmas, which I purchased for her online. She opened the gift box to have a smell before wrapping and rang me to ask if her grandad had some super glue to attach one of the metal strips on the side of the bottle as had come off? She was adamant that she wanted to give to her mum on Christmas Day and grandad was able the rescue with glue. I sent an email to Lancome to explain the problem on 23.12.20, took photo's and got no reply. I telephoned a week later to explain the situation again and was told that I could return the perfume? I had to emphasise that the bottle strip embellishment had already been fixed with superglue and maybe a gesture of goodwill would be nice as I would have returned as faulty under any other circumstances. I was told be sent a discount offer. Received a 10% off code for next purchase 11 days later. The whole Lancome experience has been very poor indeed. I realise that this was an unusual situation being a Christmas gift and we had solved the problem, but could have been handled by the customer service team so much better.
Worst service ever!!
Recently placed an order for a Saturday delivery, order was placed at 10:20am before the 12pm cut off for Saturday delivery and paid the £9.95 delivery charge, two days later I had to contact lancome myself to chase up why I had not received my order, after waiting five hours for a response when according to the website it will be a two hour maximum, all they sent me was tracking details no other information, no details of my order. Eventually after six days my parcel finally arrived. I made a complaint to lancome to which their response was as bad as their delivery service, even worse is that it will take them 21 days to refund my delivery costs meaning I have waited since my order over a month for a multimillion pound company to pay me back what is rightfully mine. Absolutely terrible service which I can guarantee I will never use again and I would recommend anyone to find another place to purchase their perfumes

Ordered with TREAT offer online...researched the colour and types of make up I required..went to order..site refused 3 cards with funds in..no one else has done this ever...did chat..most unsatisfactory..they wanted me to empty basket..take cookies off and much else. As I am not good on computer..impossible. Tried several times more..more unhelpful 'chat'..gave up exasperated. Tried again today..a pile of instructions for my computer (apple mac) NEVER ever a problem...ridiculous..especially annoying as I am in lockdown and cannot replace my makeup..one of the few I am not allergic too..absolutely amazed how poor their website? is?

They are so many nice ppl there and helpful, but never in Lancome. Shame really cos is one of my favourite brand. Went today, after waiting so long in queue, to refill my idole perfume bottle and to get new foundation.
Of course after waiting for couple of minutes, she tries to figure it out how the box works, no luck. Asking another colleague to help her, another couple of minutes, no luck either. Nobody is leven ooking at me, wondering if I can go or not as they are busy trying to discover the hot water now.
I felt like I'm bothering them on Saturday and they don't wanna be there but to deal with customers 🤨
At some point, one of them looking at me saying maybe u have some other shopping to do in store, I guess the box is empty, I need to bring another one from downstairs. Very rude and annoying face like I bothered her. Nevermind I told her, I'll be back. As I wanted my bottle. As soon as I finished my shopping dealing with some other helpful and very nice ppl on store , went back, they still there trying to figure this out, looking at me like OMG U CAME AGAIN, WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO what do you want .

If you were to do a promotion make sure your system is good enough to support this, were trying to order the ADVANCED GÉNIFIQUE SÉRUM and was shown in stock, but in fact it's out of stock and my card has been charged 4 times but the transaction never went through still pending for the refund, wasted my effort and time and really disappointed.
Bad & Awful service
Very bad CS. Order placed on 28-06-2020.
On 03-06-2020 email told me the order was shipped but no further details, trucking number, estimated delivery date & no couriers details.
On 11-06-2020 asked me again for delivery details.
An email dated 12-06-2020 told me the order returned to the hell called lancome without any explanation WHY!!!. No CS available, No live chat, you lancome need US to survive. From my experience, I have had much better success with Boots & superdrug.

They are the worst
They are the worst. Goods have not arrived and not possible to speak to anyone. Keep stating on the chatline (only way to communicate with them or by email which they do not respond to) that they will get back to you but never do. No feel of luxury items being purchased here no samples and simply put in a bubble wrap envelope no card wrapping nothing nice at all. wish ide have read here first I wouldn't have bothered :(
Lancome user
I use their creams on a regular basis and also their foundation which works well for me. I've found some of their packaging for their make up palette aren't luxury or appear high end considering the price you pay for them. Unless you're in love with the colour palette, there are competing brands that sell a similar colour palette, for the same price and in a more premium packaging. I usually go into store to buy products but I have ordered on the website which was easy to use, got samples and a free gift but sometimes my product is sold out so I will have to go into store to buy it.
AVOID at any costs!!!!!!
This company its such a rip off. Completely liars, they make you buy many products in order to receive the gift included and u actually get nothing. I recently received my order with no gift whatsoever but in my order confirmation email its clearly stated that the gift its also included. Such a shame as it was my birthday gift and i was really excited to try them on before i can purchase the full size on. Not to also mention that if u want to return any products you do it at your own expenses. This is how they lose customers. Will never buy again from this company. Avooiid! I would give -0 stars if possible. I wish i would have read the reviews before I order. After contacting them all i got was’ your gift was out of stock’ . Really? Why was not this mentioned before i paid? Complete joke. They just want to sell their products at any costs by misleading and lying their customers.

They will deceive you in a number of ways:
1. On the first page, they will promise that EVERYorder above £60 will be supplemented with a free gift. Do not trust! In small print somewhere buried through their other promises, they said that this promise is the subject of availability. In my experience for 5 years,the 'free gifts' were never available.
2. Do not click 'Saturday delivery'. You will pay £9.95 but it does not mean that they deliver the closest Saturday!!!! In their understanding, Saturday can be the next Saturday. In my experience, they delivered after 2 weeks on Saturday!
3.Customer service. This is really bad. If you want to buy anything, they are very polite. But once you want to raise a complaint, the two lovely girls on the phone will repeatedly inform you that the all manager staff is on training. If you call the next day, and the day after, the answer will be the same.
4. If you are lucky and will raise a formal complain, someone from France (french code in the phone number) will call you. But once the person hears the word 'complaint', he disconnected you. In my experience, this happened 3 times.
5. When you eventually receive your order, you will be disappointed that the package is damaged, all item are not packed and it looks like they do not have Lancome original package.
Shame on this company!
In fact, you will have more success with Boots. At least, you cannot fault them on any issues above and the price (!!!!) surprisingly lower.

I wanted to buy a set when there was a 20% off event, however it was a totally joke! The error page pop out everytime I check out, there is thousands of pound pending in my bank account! I called customer service 6 times, no problem solved, all they can do is read you some instructions and tell you that they are sorry but it must be your own fault! I tried their advice to clean the cache, use new browser, use UK local card, check everything! Tried and tried again, guess what, 10 order failure in a row! And after all those complains online and plus same experience my friends have, they still refuse to admit there is anything wrong with their website! Rude customer service as well! Epecially the woman call Charlotte, very rude and speak loud and high, avoid all the question, just want to make you hang up your phone! Very angry and disappointed with Lancome, how can a big brand end up like this!
