Kustom Bikes Arvostelua

We are a group of nine cycling across Cornwall and Devon for three weeks. After a crash left one of our wheels badly buckled, the whole schedule of our journey could easily have been turned upside down.

We called Don. He picked up straight away and simply said: “Come over!”

We found his workshop tucked away above Wheddon Cross. When we arrived, he was actually in the middle of a meeting with the Schwalbe rep, but he still took the time to help us.

Don, a bike mechanic and passionate mountain biker, straightened the wheel in his own very effective way. He made it clear that he couldn’t guarantee the repair, carefully explained the precautions we should take for the rest of our journey… and then refused to charge us anything.

Thanks to him, something that could have seriously disrupted our trip became just another story from the road.

You have to believe in life. And above all, believe in people. In those unexpected encounters that happen exactly when you need them.

A huge thank you, Don, for your time, kindness and generosity. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just so easy, they had what a want and dispatched it quickly

Great service. I asked if they would be able to dispatch the bicycle helmet early and if I could receive it sooner and they got back to me straight away. My helmet arrived the following morning. Thank you :)

Communication regarding order and delivery updates was very good. Order arrived on time and as described by sellers website, true colour, fit and style. Quality item, thanks.

I have to give a shout out to Don Howe at Kustom. After my initial question of a part that isn’t listed on their website, or even stocked - Don liaised with the company (Garbaruk) and sourced the part I needed direct from them.

I cannot thank him and Kustom Bikes enough for doing this. I did also email two other online retailers and neither bothered to reply to me.

Excellent fast service.
Free postage.
Can’t get any better.
