I bought one of their tactical dog collars about a year ago and the metal plate that connects the two ends together snapped off. Keep in mind that my dog is an inside dog and wasn't connected to a lead or anything that he could have pulled on causing it to break like that. We even use a training collar when walking him because he's very strong and can be difficult to walk. I contacted KONG through email explaining what happened and expected to this to be covered under their 3 year warranty but when they responded I was told that their accessories are made by a third party company and therefore only come with a 60 day guarantee. What if I didn't use a training collar to walk him and used that one instead? Anything could have happened when it broke! He could have run off and been hit by a car...or could have been attacked by another animal. The company's resolution to this faulty product was to issue me $10 off of a $40+ purchase at PetSmart...that's the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Kong dog toys have always been a favourite, but I am astonished at how well the Kong Reflex Flyer is lasting. My dogs are serious about chewing and ruining their toys, but the Kong Reflex Flyer has defeated them - they just enjoy the chase as intended now

New kong toy today from jolleyes lasted 10 mins and it was the heavy duty one with a 6 month old vizsla

Bought the KONG 2-pack balls, small, with squeaker. KONG claims that this dog ball is durable along with the squeaker. The squeaker stopped working on the 3rd or 4th time we played with over a 2 week period.

KONG is unwilling to take a Chewy online receipt making it hard to get a claim to get a replacement product very, very difficult.

Being difficult accepting returns MAY BE how KING chooses to keep their defective returns down. Best I can suggest is stop buying from KONG and go with a more reputable company!

Do not buy any Kong toys like the tennis balls or dumbbells, I have a 16wk old puppy and he chewed them both to bits in 24hrs. Kong did not think them through, big mistake with there tennis balls or anything similar

Disappointing quality and poor customer service. The toy lasted less than 10 minutes-$19 for under 10 minutes of use (about $2 per minute!). I reached out to KONG several times and received no response. Overpriced product with no customer support. Would not recommend.

We have many long lasting quality Kong toys for our 80lb golden retriever. We recently bought a Kong football. Within five minutes he had almost all of the fiber coating off the football. There tennis type balls when wet starts to peel waste of money

Ist ziemlich praktisch, aber leider nur mit Billig Befestigungen aus Kunststoff versehen, so dass man diese Karabiner teuer nachrüsten muss, so kostet die Abtrennung dann nicht 50 Eur, sondern 90 Eur. Bin enttäuscht, ich dachte die Qualität ist noch so, wie vor ein paar Jahren

Very expensive and didn’t last 10 minutes with a puppy and as it was a gift kong have said no warranty I would not recommend using the company service was extremely poor

I have always found Kong dog toys extremely well made and good quality, however having purchased a canister of Kong easy treat for puppies which is used to seal the end of the classic Kong toy to hold treats in, I couldn’t believe how little use I had before it ran out, and having paid over £9.50 for it , I consider it a ridiculous price, and very disappointing.

I bought a Kong Squeaker Turkey for my dog.
My dog got a parasite which required all her toys to be cleaned. All of the toys from other manufacturers cleaned fine.
The Kong ones BROKE and upon buying a replacement, there are NO CARE INSTRUCTIONS.
I contacted their support and have waited months, even after follow ups via the ticketing system...
What is going on with your European operations?

When calling the EU office in UK and speaking with Lena, she agreed with the idea of pulling all the Kong Products in Europe from the pet stores because of this.

Let's get all Kong Company products removed from European pet stores now.

I recently bought a frisbee to replace a lost one. When it arrived I was disappointed to see it was not of the same quality. I emailed kong with photos and description. They got back to me and said they would pass my complaint to the technical department!!! Nearly 4 weeks later no reply. Had king toys for years but sadly I think there’s a bit of cost cutting on quality.
Will now look for another brand.

I bought a new toy for our 4 month old cocker poo puppy. U always believed Kong products to be strong and durable and this was in the ballistic range. It however lasted less than 2 weeks until I found my puppy choking on the filling as the stitching can come undone. She didn't even play with it much, I'd say 40 minutes in total.

My grievance isn't so much the fact it split, I suspect there was a fault. It is the fact that I contacted Kong on 2nd March and chased it up twice with no reply. I would have liked to think they would be interested in what went wrong and improved their quality control but clearly not.

Plush·Animals). The first one lasted nearly a year and I might say this was her favorite toy. The squeaker out lasted the material. Last week I ordered a replacement. I gave it to her and the squeaker lasted about an hour. So I returned it and bought a replacement. It arrive yesterday and I gave it to my puppy. The squeaker in this one only lasted about an hour again. If you changed the sqeaker in this type of toy I might suggest it can not withstand any play and you need to go back to what was working. Oh by the way my dog is a morkie.

Having been an advocate of kong dog toys I was extremely disappointed with the monkey pull toy.. it lasted all of 5 minutes the rope pulled out of the toy and was badly stitched in. Looks like the company isn't producing the same quality as it used to10 years ago ! Shame

I bought another toy hoping it was just the monkey toy but unfortunately this one lasted all.of 5 seconds.. really poor stitching.

Toy was ripped in half in 15 seconds

Bought pack of three active squeeze balls. Fell apart in days and Kong won’t listen because I don’t have a receipt and therefore the balls might not be genuine. I suggested I sent them back for them to inspect and the reply I received if you’ve no receipt we can’t help. I’ve asked for this to be escalated to complaints and I’ll give them twenty working days. Then I’ll contact the ombudsman
