Kitchens plus Bathrooms Arvostelua 

As a recent first-time property buyer, this is my first experience of getting a bathroom quote. I had no clue where to even start and no idea of options or prices. Adrian was fantastic. He walked me through everything step by step, from how the company worked, and how the order and installation would work, to every single detail of what my dream bathroom could be.

He was patient while I looked through the brochures and photos. He answered all of my silly questions. He guided me through making decisions on layout and style and made a fabulous design on the laptop to show me.

As I have only just started looking into getting the bathroom done, I decided not to go ahead with the quote today. But I really appreciate the time and expertise that went into the quote and will most certainly keep the company in mind, should I decide to go ahead with the work.

Chris provided me with a free design & quote. The appointment lasted about 2 hours & Chris was very friendly & explained everything really well. He was really professional & gave me a lot to think about. Would highly recommend Chris & the company.

1st off i want to say the gentleman who came to see us was polite, friendly and easy to get on with. Where it all went wrong was the price, quoted just over £13,000 and before i even opened my mouth there was £4000 in discounts which i felt annoyed about because in my mind i'm already being over charged £4,000. He spoke with his manager (i'm guessing thats who it was) and he was trying close the deal by bringing the price down to around £5000, (The good old line 'if i can would you') In the space of 15 mins the original price dropped by around £8000. That for me is not the way to try and get someone's business, i felt like i was being ripped off so didn't go ahead with it and will use someone else. I can't help thinking how many people accept the 1st offer and end up massively over paying. If the sales manager or whoever is in charge is reading this then you seriously need educating on sales and the correct methods on how to close and look after your potential customers.

From start to finish, this has been a much smoother experience than I anticipated.
Design/survey team were great, from laying out the different options to working out the best layout.
All the tradespeople involved have all been professional, efficient and delivered great quality work.
The office staff were equally great in checking progress and satisfaction throughout and sorted out a small delivery issue promptly so that everything was still finished on time.

Just want to say a huge thank you to Chris at kitchens plus Bathrooms for helping me and Anth pick the perfect kitchen for us. Also Chris was friendly helpful and had great knowledge and knew exactly what we wanted. Cant wait for the kitchen to be installed. Everything was hassle free no pushy sales pitches Chris just understood what we wanted and managed to get us a good price all in. So thank you so much... I’m after a new bathroom so after seeing them advised on Facebook and previously hearing about them on the TV I thought I would give them a ring for a quote. Bear in mind I don’t really have a big bathroom and even the salesman said wasn’t big enough for a walk in shower as well as a bath so the quote really shocked us.
They would not agree an appointment unless my self and my husband were present. So we booked a Friday evening as one of the only evenings we are both home together. I have had a couple other quotes usually 20mins ish but the ones who have done designs around an hour.
A guy called Arron arrived 630pm and did not leave til 10pm!!!
We were not told at any point they would sit over us all night. We have an autistic son too who was clearly unsettled which I made a point of mentioning and the appointment was dragged out massively.
The salesman himself was a pleasant lad and very helpful at first. He asked our budget which we told him and he asked if anything we definately wanted or didn’t want. At this point he should have really said what we wanted would not be in our price range and ask if we would want to go any further at that point or even explain how long the appointment would have taken.
A lot of time showing us different taps and brochures before he even went to go to look at the bathroom. He explained the difference between their “quality items and extensive guarantee” and compared them against the likes of wickes, wrens, b&q etc. I actually made a point that I did not think there was anything wrong with their products after having bathrooms and kitchens fitted from them before I was very happy and they were extremely long lasting.
Arron continued to design the bathroom and gave us a quote. £19,000 for a small bathroom. I told him that was well out of our budget and no way we would pay that. My husband even asked him at the beginning surely you knew the price would be those sort of figures which he nodded but went on to say that he once had a budget from a couple of 7,000 and they continued to spend 14,000. We thanked him for his time and said that we would not be looking at paying that especially with us being cash buyers. He then rang his supervisor whilst still here to inform him that we had declined.Who offered us a first time buy of 15.5k. Again we declined.
We were grateful and appreciated his time spent on the design and felt so bad he had give up so many hours but that the price was so much more than we have previously had quoted. He did say he would price up using other stock “q4” and get back to us over the weekend which he has not.
This morning I had two missed calls whilst at work and then another call which I answered. Was yet another salesman who explained that miraculously they had a cancellation and willing to give us our bathroom at rock bottom price so that their tradesman would not go out of work and willing to take the hit. I let him speak for the first few minutes but at that time I was busy reading the reviews on here and saw that people had declined the first two offers then were getting a half price quote. He said another member of staff would come out to double check and give me a final quote there and then. i refused and said I am happy to have the quote sent to discuss with my husband but I am not having anyone else coming in the house so they surely got everything they needed in the 3.5 hours they were here on Friday. I also explained how we were not happy because the salesman allowed the appointment to drag on all that time knowing fine and well it would massively not be within budget, how our son was so distressed about the stranger in our house for that length of time; and told him as feedback that their sales people should ask a budget and get an idea what the customer would like and if it’s not in their range they should be asking if they wish us take the appointment any further at that point so doesn’t waste anyone’s time.
Once I said that his words were well I will leave that there and quickly went off the phone so I did not even hear their third and final offer.
If it wasn’t for how pleasant Arron was my review would have been 1 star.

Just had our new kitchen completed.
Everything was well orchestrated with the tradesmen, plumbers, electrician, plasterers, fitters and flooring ect.
They went beyond expectations by putting in window sills and skirting for us.
Kitchin is of high standard and we love it!
Bathroom and windows next for us i think!

Great fitter, did the job on his own,despite it being a bigger kitchen. He had to do lots of repairs to the edges of the ceiling left by previous workers, did a lot of extra work. Made adjustments to fridge freezer as the door had warped did dishwasher fitting and the new plinths top and bottom are lovely. Electrician put great new light fittings in, that don't ever need replacing. Andy the fitter is a top bloke, great humour. It looks lovely.

Andy Designer was so friendly & explained all the services . He told me that the bathroom supplied has a lifetime guarantee and all old stuff was taken away. He also went through all time lines for installation & payments.

Had a kitchen fitted which was supposed to include under unit lighting. Somebody forgot to install the lighting and Kitchens Plus refused to install the lighting and blamed the electrician who they appointed and instructed.
After 16 months one of the cupboard doors fell off because the hinges broke. The response from their customer service was that moving parts are only guaranteed for 12 months and I should buy new hinges from B&Q.
I would not recommend Kitchens Plus as their customer support attitude is 'the customer is always wrong'.

We recently had our kitchen replaced by Kitchens plus Bathrooms and cannot recommend them enough. We've had a really smooth and positive experience, and now have a beautiful kitchen! From start to finish everything ran like clockwork. All tradesmen were very polite and punctual (and tidy!), every job was explained and all small problems dealt with quickly. Rob and Joe the fitter were especially great, and the aftercare calls were also appreciated. All round a great experience, thanks again!

Had Chris out for and appointment on a new kitchen he was very polite not pushy just a little bit over my afforibilty would highly recommend him

Had a small problem with some cupboard doors on a kitchen fitted a few years ago. Once I found out who I should be talking to the problem was solved and doors were replaced to my satisfaction. I would recommend this Company to anyone needing a new kitchen or bathroom as they did both jobs for me.
