DO NOT BUY FROM KENSUI - DECEPTIVE MARKETING DESPITE KNOWN FLAWS. I purchased the Pro version of the Kensui Adjustable FID Bench. It was - and still is - marketed as having “vertical storage”, which is important for small home gym spaces. This was a deciding factor in me ordering this bench. The bench arrived in a highly damaged box, but was assembled already, which was nice and convenient. After using the bench a few times, everything was fine. Then when I finally went to organize my gym and store it vertically, it would not stay upright - it simply fell over without someone holding it. I emailed the company and they asked for a video. I sent the video and got this exact message in response: “Hi Miles,
We have checked this with our team, and you are completely correct. This was a design flaw on our end, the bench cannot stand up on its own, and we are sorry for the confusion and inconvenience this caused!
To help make up for this, we would love to offer you a $50 discount code for your next order with us. Please let us know if you'd like us to issue that for you, and if there is anything else we can do to help.

Kensui Team”. I told them this was unacceptable and wanted to return it. They said they’d let me return it, but I was responsible for packaging, moving it, bringing it to FedEx, etc (it weighs 100+ lbs, is not easy to move, and is on my third floor so I cannot move it easily). I then said that too was unacceptable. I also reiterated that, despite me bringing this “design flaw” to their attention (and I would be shocked if I was the first person to raise this or that they didn’t know about it), they continue to market the bench as having “vertical storage”. I told them they should stop this, but as of this writing, the website is unchanged. They ultimately said they would have FedEx pick up the bench at my house, but did not say if FedEx was moving the bench or if FedEx was providing packaging. They also scheduled the pick up without asking me if it worked for my schedule, did so on less than 48 hours notice, and did this in the middle of a work day. In short, the company is making the return of a large, heavy, awkward object difficult despite admitting the product was flawed and not consistent with the marketing on their website. It’s not like I tried the bench for 10 days, didn’t like it and asked to return it - in that case, I should pay for return shipping, handling packaging, etc. - that’s perfectly reasonable. MOST IMPORTANTLY, Kensui continues to advertise the bench as having vertical storage despite being aware that this feature does not work (which, as an aside, creates major safety issues - i.e. if the bench fell and landed on someone’s head while they were on the ground stretching). Neat, innovative company - super sleazy marketing. Find an honest company to buy from.

Highly recommend the ARX Grips , well made, adjustable to fit range of pull-up, very good ergonomics for the wrists

I had a warranty problem that was completely taken care of. Initially I had some problem making contact but after I did and I explained the problem Kensui took care of it completely and commuications were swift. It has been a pleasure dealing with their support team and I would recommend Kensui to anyone who wants to invest in quality and innovative exercise equipment.

Products look great, especially the 5 lb mug. It will be useful for me as an elder (over 65). There was a "bug" in the e-mail/add to cart link, however, the support team responded quickly to resolve the matter.

Gold chrome plates rusted in under a year. Climate was completely controlled and with minimal private use. And zero customer support! Clean and oil it, they say. They have a 30 day return policy so of course you won’t know they’ll rust. You’re screwed! Thanks Kensui

the popeye grips are horrendous smelly chinese plasticy things that odnt fit on most bars/dumbells, and that no doubt cost a few dollars to make and are being sold for 60+ as a set, kind of crazy this "premium" brand does this

Excellent products and service. I have five or six different pull up implements now including the neutral grips and the the 2” ropes. All are extremely well made and have changed my pull up game significantly. The service has also been great. I had a small issue with one order and customer service got back to me the same day with a resolution. Highly recommend company and products.

The customer service is truly excellent! I had issues with the Adaptabell twice in a row, and each time they sent me the necessary parts to fix the problem.

I have been looking to start practicing with a mace, but I didn't want to buy a bunch of different weights. I like that I can load the EZ Mace with my own plates. The quality of the Mace is great.

Kensui is Always helpful and Always responsive when I have questions or issues. In my experience they always do the right thing for the customer. One of the best in customer service in this market. 5 stars.

This was a gift for my son. So far it seems to be a great specialty bar. Too soon to rate it for issues with durability or rust. But I definitely recommend it for home gym.
