My favourite furniture and carpet store in Norfolk is John Doe. Their products are exceptional and assistants first class. Earlier this month I visited the store in Diss to purchase a table and chairs. We were assisted by Matt Burley. As the items we selected were not in the store or in the catalogue, Matt went to considerable lengths to find suitable items from Ireland. We were impressed by his ability and determination to get our items. A credit to his firm.

Scott and Simon were amazing when delivering and assembling a new bed from John Doe. Firstly they accommodated collection of the old bed on their van even though the markings on the paperwork had not clearly stated. Then they returned very quickly to assist with a defect in the bed drawers. Gold stars for Scott and Simon and we hope to hear from John Doe on the bed drawers soon.

Just had a new reclining chair delivered by Scott and Simon. Excellent service from start to finish, Would certainly not hesitate to purchase from John Doe again and recommend the company

We contacted John Doe to enquire about a mattress comfort exchange. Although we hadn’t been made explicitly aware at the time of purchase of any exchange policy or deadline, when I contacted them to ask if we could swap the firmness of our mattress, they honoured the exchange despite it being slightly past their usual deadline. This is precisely the reason we shop with John Doe because they put their customers first. Very much appreciated and thank you very much.

Simon & Scott delivered my items of furniture this morning, a great service, they were professional and polite. They put the furniture where I wanted it, put the bed together and took away all the packaging.
Above and beyond this company goes, will definitely be using again. Thank you

Excellent job really great carpet fitters

Great experience. There was good communication throughout, everyone was keen to support us. We had the delivery today and Scott and Simon were great. They were very careful when unpacking and assembling our sofas. They explained important aspects that we needed to know. Friendly and polite throughout. Would highly recommend.

Louis and George came to our house this morning in Fressingfield to lay a carpet in our main bedroom. Although I was out at the time, my husband said they were lovely guys and he had a nice chat with them. The carpet looks great and no scuffs at all on any skirtings etc. Thank you so much! This is the second time we have used John Doe and would certainly use them again - a great job!

I have just had a sitting room carpet fitted by Louis and George and I am very pleased with the service.. The fitters were polite, quick and the carpet looks great. We will definitely be using John Does carpets for the rest of the house.

Punctual, careful & considerate, friendly service by Simon and Scott
Couldn’t ask for more

Brilliant job completed by Ash and Mark on fitting our bedroom carpet.
Polite, friendly and professional.
Big thanks to Sam at the store too for her help.
This is our third carpet now from John Doe (different rooms) over the past 10 years. All excellently done.

Simon and Scott were great. Arrived early to deliver the sofa and new bed. Friendly, efficient and even moved the old sofa outside. Brilliant service. Thanks guys. Chris

Recently had 2 polite, hard-working gents, Mark & George, fit a living room carpet for me. They also moved a small amount of furniture with ease. So pleased with service & the lovely job they've done.

New carpet fitted in bedroom excellent job clean tidy and excellent fitting looks great thanks ash and Mark

I needed a new bed, but didn't know much beyond that. In the showroom in Diss there was an extensive selection, but fortunately there was a friendly salesperson on hand to talk me through the various types of mattress and to let me try them out. On the delivery day Simon and Scott phoned me beforehand, were very efficient in setting the bed up and very respectful of my home.

Well after confusion about what area the carpet was to be fitted, Ash and George done such a good having to fit a carpet around fixed furniture as we live in a lodge well done to you both i would recommend you for sure
Can't wait to get the other bit of carpet fitted

John Doe not only sells good quality furniture but their delivery personnel are top class. Simon and Scott delivered to us today and were excellent. They took good care of the furniture and tidied up afterwards. Both men were so friendly and didn’t mind our little dog having a nosy around what they were doing …they made such a fuss of her.

John Doe is excellent - the quality of their furniture is first class and the service is fabulous too, both in the shop and from Simon and Scott when they delivered our sofa. Highly recommended!
