We had excellent advice over an anchor chain swivel a couple of years ago, and on spares for a Quick Marine windlass this autumn. Plus new soft rigging in between. Their help on the phone was really outstanding as was the service when we ordered the parts. Five star supplier rating!

I’ve bought various things over the years from Jimmy Green and the price, selection and delivery have always been excellent .
I bought something last year and fitted it at the start of the season. It work well then failed.
I reported this to Jimmy Green and they responded with a sensible maintainance suggestion, which I’d already tried.
They then responded with an unexpected but very welcome solution.
An excellent response from an excellent company. (I haven’t included details of the item or solution because I don’t want anyone unscrupulous reading this to take advantage.)

I’d like to say a really big thank you to James, Ollie and the rest of the team at Jimmy Green. They helped us with a problem we’d had with the mooring bridle for our boat. Their service was efficient, they made time to answer my questions and we are very happy with the products that they sent to us. Highly recommended.

I have dealt with JGM for a long time, sorting lines for several boats, and never been disappointed by either service or quality. This time though it was above and beyond - gear loss in the season is a big problem - but solved by ordering ropes on Wednesday, made on Thursday and delivered (to the Isle of Wight!) on Friday! Amazing- we will be racing this weekend!

I was dealing with Ollie (yes a real human) who was very available over several twists and turns of getting the right set of parts for a bow thruster project. He was extremely helpful with good communication and response times to queries. Highly recommend

Te team spliced a custom set of mooring lines for us. The measurements were perfect and it was a really quick turnaround without any problems - really happy with the new lines and very good communication throughout.

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE BEWARE I was at the Monaco Grand Prix and spoke with many yacht owners over the four day event, after a couple of people recommended this company I thought I would buy some small items just to see how they operate before I placed a larger order. I’m so glad I did as I will NEVER use this company again, in this industry it’s all about word of mouth and trust with a very expensive yacht etc.
The customer service is very very poor, I advised that some retraining is required to enhance this company and raise the standards many UHMWI require. They didn’t read my emails to understand and when they responded they responded in a way they didn’t care about the customer at all. I was advised that the more you pay for postage the more customer service you will receive. I will now spread the word around my circle that this is a company to avoid at all costs.
While I’m writing this review this company I expected Jimmy Green to try and raise there standards, but unfortunately they found this too difficult and decided to refund me instead. Why is this company still in business. Laughable

Too embarrassing to recount. Suffice to say that there are some people with whom you deal that just seem honest and competant. This company is one of those. And I doubt in my Internet life I have left as many as 5 reviews.

Visited on Tuesday to order new forestay and ask for advice as I had never fitted a roller forestay before - Great advice, product delivered on Friday as planned and fitted on Saturday using their advice - Outstanding service.

I have been dealing with Clive at Coastline Technology.
Poor service is endemic in the marine industry. Clive is the polar opposite of that. I am a yacht surveyor. Lighthouse Yacht Surveys) and serial boat owner for 40 years, so I have a lot of experience. I have not come across anyone who is as willingly helpful and quick to respond as Clive.

Very prompt responses to our questions to help us identify the part we needed. Despatch was prioritised and amazingly our part arrived in Belize - via Panama and Guatemala - within 4 days! Fantastic support - thanks very much Ollie, Charlotte and the Jimmy Green team!

Recently needed some chain markers at very short notice. None of the usual suspect chandleries were willing or able to help ("our couriers can't deliver by tomorrow" or they didn't hold stock and would have to order from the maufactuer).

Jimmy Green staff all tried to help, worked together, and while explaining that they couldn't guarantee delivery, recommended a delivery method, which did the job. The point is that they appeared to care, and made an effort. Highly recommended!

Great customer service. Had to replace a stanchion and base and needed a perfect direct replacement. Both Iain and Jim spent loads of time measuring what they had in stock and found me a direct match (just have to polish the old ones to match the shiny new one !).
Would highly recommend.

Jimmy Green posted an incorrect gypsy to us in Fiji and wouldn’t accept it back as we tried it prior to realising it was incorrect for our chain (even though they advised us which one we needed based on our last gypsy) - as obviously you would have to. The Lofrans casting is clearly totally different to the one required however they refused to accept the return qnd quite frankly, the representative we emailed (and chased and chased as he was so slow in getting back to us) didn’t comprehend technical tolerances and casting differences. We’re £500 out of pocket for a useless Lofrans gypsy that the seller won’t accept back. Dreadful customer service.

Brilliant service. Very helpful staff, fantastic workmanship, and all delivered in a few days.

They provided useful technical advice to my questions by email even during their new year shutdown and then shipped what I ordered quickly.
