*Edit - in response to JG reply. We did leave JG over a year ago and we STILL don't have final confirmation of electricity bills and other bills dating back several years and they won't share the bills with us because they're are apparently far too many for us to manage.
In addition they didn't respond to a SAR in time and then were awkward about how they would share it. I spoke with the ombudsman and will pursue it again once all dealings with JG are complete before myself and my neighbours pursue another tribunal.

We had an issue with our underground…
We had an issue with our underground parking garage gate. I called JG and Jackie sorted it out as quickly as she could, and it was repaired in 2 days as it needed a part. Liam also called to update us when it would be fixed.

Im a first time buyer and JAMES GIBB have truly made me regret buying this flat. I was on a payment plan for an already ridiculous amount. When it came to their renewal period, instead of renewing my payment plan they took almost £2000 out my account on payday claiming its what i owe them FOR THAT FOLLOWING YEAR!! even though Im up to date with my payments, when I contacted them they said they couldn't do anything about it and thankfully my bank is great and cancelled the payment. This company is money hungry. They dont care about the people at all and if i could simply leave my flat I would have. Their attitude on the phone reflects how they do business. Life is already difficult and they are apart of the problem. DO NOT DO ANY BUYING IF THEY ARE INVOLVED! BE AWARE

Well, it is in my “sent mail” and I remember clearly sending it to you as soon as I’d finished speaking to the police.
I am very surprised that you didn’t reply because the content of the email was very important, given the relative frequency of storms there has been. My major concern is for the proximity of trees to the building where I stay.

Very questionable. I have had 20 years dealing with SG and have had terrible service 95% of the time.
Very slow to respond, if at all. The worst factor I have had the misfortune to deal with.

Cladding Project
Surprised at some of the negative reviews but can only talk to my own experience. James Gibb have been incredibly helpful at driving the resolution of cladding issues with a block of apartments, one of which I own. Sure, it wasn’t cheap and the original builder long since defunct to take responsibility. Without the work going forward however the alternative was an unsaleable apartment and for that I’m incredibly grateful.

Horrendous organisation that charges…
Horrendous organisation that charges outrageous amounts for buildings insurance £1600 for a flat in Glasgow. Charging £235 a month in total service fees compare that to My much bigger more expensive Edinburgh House at £40 a month and buildings insurance of only £350 run by Ross and Liddle who are great. Trying to get them ousted from our building.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're disappointed to hear you believe our service is too expensive - as you live within a budgeted development, that budget is agreed annually by owners, and James Gibb facilitate it on their behalf.
In relation to repairs not being carried out quickly enough, there can be many factors which affect the timeline for instructing repairs, such as obtaining sufficient agreement from owners, or requiring to employ the services of consultants for specialist works. We would be happy to explain any specific delays you feel were unreasonable, please just contact your property manager directly.

Terrible value for money
Terrible value for money, charge a high management fee for poor service. Apparently run tendering process but still charge over twice the market rate for their ‘approved’ services. Charged residents to investigate an issue weeks after the council fixed it. James Gibb seem to be more focused on issuing fines on their customers rather than doing their jobs. Our estate is held hostage by James Gibb.
