Why I am forced to watch bloody adverts on catch up!

Way to many adverts, almost more advert time than show time.

ITV X is absolutely useless. I try to use it every day to catch up on a certain program and every time it will not work. The stock reply is something went wrong retry. Offcom you should be stopping them transmitting they are an absolute disgrace.

Waaaaaaaay too many ads. Wouldn’t mind if it was 3 times a hour, but 6 times is ridiculous!! Not enjoyable and don’t recommend!

I was watching a good drama on ITVX but got absolutely sick and tired of the endless adverts, which I timed at approximately every 13 minutes! I paid to go premium “ad free”. This is a complete scam. When I returned after paying, there were immediately almost 4 minutes of “recommendations”. The usual 13 minutes later, 2 more minutes of recommendations!!! WHY in god’s name did I pay almost £60 for the privilege of watching ITV push their own ads at me? Thankfully, I will get a full refund via Apple which I requested within ten minutes of paying. AVOID this so called service. All you’re paying for is more adverts, just under a different guise.

If you can find something to watch lasting about 10 minutes thats fine because thats all it stays for before going down. Very very frustrating. Why cant they fix it?

Don't know what has changed but ITV X is now brilliant. Congratulations to whoever listened and sorted it. Adverts apart, it's now comparable to BBC iPlayer.

I have started watching good morning Britain after finding BBC too biased and focussed on hard luck stories.

Time after time they hold ministers to account and refuse to be fobbed off with tales of the last government blah example this morning 300326 well done.

Dreadful platform - more adverts than content, destroys the viewing experience. And, going by the reviews, paying for premium doesn't totally remove ads so not prepared to take the chance. Also sponsored by the Post Office which "Sponsors Binge-Worthy Drama" ...and prosecutes innocent employees - enough said.

Worst app ever, constant buffering, blank screens & subtitles even though they are turned off, the whole app isn’t fit for purpose, I have uninstalled it now as it’s so frustrating!

If I could give it zero I would. Absolutely terrible performance.

I never want or intend to watch ITVX again. It's a disgrace. Most importantly it's a scam - you pay over £6 a month not to see ads and then find you have endless trailers instead. How dare they?
Why is it like this? Someone needs to get a serious grip. Advertisers be warned.

What idiot reinvented ITVX? This is an app that has been plagued with problems since its inception but it just got a whole lot worse! And what brain dead chicken decided to get rid of passwords for one off codes that need to be repeatedly changed? No ITVX just No

Paid to go Ad Free only to have programmes constantly interupted by ads for ITV shows. What a scam...will be asking for a refund and cancelling.

The app has great shows but it is so slow at loading things and worst things is most times I try to either fast forward or rewind it mostly kicks me out the app ,I'm sure others have same problem

Woeful UI and automation. Help-pages aren't, and there's no inbuilt ability to override false positives when it flags as using an ad blocker. The fact it happened halfway through an episode shows it's clearly faulty but without any way to fight it you're forced to watch on a different device. Consistently freezes and stops without retaining your place in the episode. Poor UI means it's very difficult to return manually to the same point.

Without doubt the worst tv app. They should be ashamed of themselves. Don’t thick pressure test before releasing or maybe just don’t care 🤷

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star, if I could I would give it 0, a complete waste of time, it was so bad we finished up switching the thing of and deleting the itv x app. Adverts and the time programs took to start, and on occasions it would switch itself off.

This app has to one of the worst TV apps there is. And I've had several attempts to cancel my subscription, but there website conveniently glitches out so that I can't. I'm annoyed, and will never return to their app once I've finally managed to cancel it.

The ITVX is awful it non stop freezing just switching off when you ain’t touched the remote and when you rewind it just stops working goes all the way back to the home page wow it virtually impossible to actually watch a show what is going on ???
